- Welcome to Terra Caelum, the spiritual successor of Minecraft's Skyblock in Terraria! Every single block is gone, aside from the very few that form the main island and the Lihzahrd Altar deep in the underground. But, as of Journey's End update, even this barren start seems to be capable of going as far as defeating Moon Lord.
This episode (number two) takes the progress much further, completing most of Pre-Hardmode via building, fishing, losing sanity, and beating hordes of foes. Also please for the love of lord can we have life crystals drop at dramatically higher chances the pain is insufferable

Definitely take the 400 hp, even if it’s with Dream luck. Although I like this series, I don’t want you to go insane by fishing for gold crates in Terraria for months (because any veteran in Terraria knows how tedious grinding in this game is-) As fun as Terraria is, the RNG can be a pain in the butt. You definitely have the dedication it takes, but take care of yourself first m8.
agreed. I have taken a break from terraria as of now because near constant singleplayer grinding has completely eradicated any motivation
@@tuckerzerkle6510 Yeah, the amount of motivation and rng you need for projects and items is painful. Especially solo, multi is somewhat better for me.
@@aisenki6454 same with me, but i only have one friend to play with, and he frequently has some very suspicious luck, like getting gear from a boss in the ultranium mod, (dread) except it was from a form of him that appears MUCH later in the game (absolute dread) and it really gets on my nerves

Well rn I'm trying to get and research every single item in journey mode and I gotta say
Fishing makes me wanna kill myself, even with almost 300 fishing power (all 3 fishing accessories, angler (?) armor, rain, time set to 4:30am, fishing potion, golden fishing rod, master bait and 3 chum buckets), crate potions to boost the catch rate from 10 to 20% and luck as high as possible (gnome, biome torch, greater luck potion always kept above 5 min for max luck and a swarm of ladybugs around. just ladybugs for now, golden critters are such a pain in the ass to get) it takes a rly long time to get... 10... of... each... biome... crate... and ofc... there has to be a hardmode version for all of them... not fun
this makes the rod of discord look like a handout

Earlier, i believe the travelling merchant was selling hardened sand. fun thing about that, i _believe_ it counts as sand for many different purposes, including enabling ocean enemies/angler spawning

I just noticed that the highest tier armor you can get is hallowed, since there is no hellforge which means no adamatite forge which means to chlorophyte tier armors
Mythril/Orichalcum tier fishing loot allows the anvil, and mud allows chlorophyte, while the anvil allows crafting the hallowed-tier tool to mine it
@@Liam_Patton right, but I don't believe that there is any way to make chlorophyte bars out of the ore, because it does not seem possible to get a hellforge...
What about the lunar armour? I get it's endgame armour but still...
@@pineappleboi1719 You have to BEAT the Moon Lord to get Lunar armor, and the goal here is to beat the Moon Lord. So unless there's a pre-moon lord method to get Luminite Ore, Lunar Armor is not an option.

I was thinking the other day if they added something similar, but for the ice biome, or like an entirely underworld surface world. Going off of that, they could also add a world where the terrain generates in reverse, where the underworld is at the top, and the surface is at the bottom.

I'm more interested in seeing how it's done, rather than the literally endless grind
Also, if you want to set some challenge or prerequisite for yourself, maybe keep fishing until you get at least 1 heart, just to prove it's possible, or maybe until you get 1 of literally everything else that you can fish at this point
I say that 1 heart per boss however mechanic bosses get you 2 hearts and after queen slime 3 hearts.

My guy, you've died enough times to have plenty of tombstones such that you can create a graveyard. That would then let you make a gravedigger's shovel which would mine 3x3 dirt which would dramatically speed up your dirt duping with the bombs. Just saying.

Me and my friends did a journey mode Playthrough of skyblock with 1 rule, no god mode, we could dupe, manipulate time and spawn rates, but no god mode, we didn't know that the merchant sold the furnace in the jungle so the best armor we had until post moon lord was jungle armor bruuuuuuuuh

Relogic 2022: Say no more
For Lihzahrd enemies to spawn, it seems you need to have Lihzahrd blocks offscreen while standing over Lihzahrd brick backwall. In that case, this form of Skyblock isn't actually possible, because you can't get Jungle Temple enemies to spawn. However, through Plantera is possible, and there's nothing that would make post-Golem impossible either, if Golem itself could be spawned.
Also, please just take the health. Fishing infinitely isn't particularly fun for anyone.
Edit: I was wrong. Was playing Skyblock myself and spawned a random Flying Snake while just in front of Lihzahrd Brick Wall with no actual bricks for them to spawn on.
