Went with a friend to a meeting one evening. One of her friends wanted to pray for me. At the time I’d been disabled for 10 years. I live in constant pain in my back. He prayed. I was impressed I was standing for a length of time. They kept asking me if I was healed. If you’ve never been to one of these services, you’re so hopeful for God to touch you, you don’t know what you feel. I walked out of the room and down the hall to be alone and settle my senses. When I went back I told my friend I had not been healed. She didn’t seem to hear me as she was “drunk in the spirit”. I had to help her out to my car! People were staring at her. I knew this wasn’t God as it was bringing no glory to Him. She’s still wandering down that strange path, only now she thinks she has a gift of healing. Before I asked her not to contact me anymore, she said SHE could heal me where the other guy failed. I haven’t heard from her in 2 years. Thank God!
They do the same kind of “goosebump” hoo doo at those weird song worshiping ceremonies that are so popular now days. People leave thinking they had some kind of special temporary religious experience. I used to be a drug addict, dope does the same thing. When Jesus comes into your heart it lasts longer than a concert.

According to you, "they kept ASKING if you were healed," and you must have affirmed that you were. They didn't push you aside and declare that you were already healed. I've seen more realism in WWE that I have from these false healers. SOME CCM is quite good and biblically sound. It is important to take things on a case-by-case basis. Good contemporary Christian music is an important way to reach people who haven’t yet heard the message of Jesus. In our current culture, that’s a growing number.

Remember the context when using Romans 16:17 Mark and avoid them - contrary to the doctrine you have received. These individuals don’t operate by doctrine. So their heresies are easy to spot.
The part where he instructed people to not take their medicine really struck me. To claim to be a pastor or preacher, or to take on any title from Scripture that carries the weight of authority and tell a sick person that to be faithful to God means to stop taking medicine is wicked. If they are then harmed because they stop taking medicine they need, and they their health gets worse, or they die, the blood is on that teacher's hands. I have a chronic illness, and I have heard comments like "Are you still taking your medicine?". These comments seemed very judgmental to me. As if taking medicine shows lack of faith. It's ironic, because, while the Charismatics seem to paint the cessationists as judmental, I have seen very harsh and judgmental attitudes from Charismatic people towards people afflicted with physical illness.
Please man of God, don't go on that road. Don't focus on exposing other christians who have fallen short. Focus on your assignment! We gotta understand we don't battle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Ephesians 6:12 We have to PRAY so Jesus can be the one who exposes them and guide his church to the right leader! You are great at preaching the Gospel. Not everyone are this good and have this courage, but if you start attacking people and expose them, the devil is VERY deceitful. You will be in a danger position. Men of God are the devil main's targets, especially the evangelists and pastors. Be careful! Let Jesus bring justice! We almost on the finish line, don't lose yourself now! 🙏
TB Joshua wasn't just a false teacher. He was a warlock. Unfortunately, people, including Christians, were blinded by him. This is why Christians need discernment, I understand if someone is desperate for a healing, just do your research on who is going to lay hands on you and pray for you. Don't let just anyone lay hands on you. Besides if Gods going to heal you he is powerful enough so that person doesn't have to touch you.
I watched that 3 part series. Before that I wasn't aware of him. My heart anguishes because of all the false teachers and prophets in the church. I pray that God opens eyes and ears to hear the truth and truly be changed. Don't forget they killed over 100 people when a part of their building collapsed. I wonder if that is related to his death? Also, now his "wife" is continuing the fraud and leading their "church".

There's a plethora of these fake Nigerian teachers on Facebook. I confront them about the false prosperity gospel several times a week, sometimes more than 100 times a week. The hilarity, or sadness, if you will, is that most of them completely ignore the biblical teaching I present and have the unmitigated gall to ask me to "follow them." My response? "No, thanks, I follow Jesus rather than false teachers."

It's sad that so many of these false teachers prey on those who want healing. I've been disabled all my life but was able to work but it's progressed so that I'm no longer able to. A former friend was so into this stuff and gave her money to KC and insisted that she could heal me. The longer it took and I didn't get healed the angrier she became and very abusive that it didn't happen. I fully believe that Jesus could heal me instantly if He wanted to but I also know I serve a sovereign God who can do however He chooses and will trust in Him no matter what happens. Doesn't mean I don't have harder days when the physical pain takes its toll but it means I take it to Jesus and He gives me strength to carry on as He always has. We need to pray for those new to the faith who get caught up in this stuff. When the illusion fades it's going to be a true test of their faith that it's not all these miracles they thought they could do because of themselves being deceived. Also as you said pray for those who have had these false teachers preying on them as it''s a test of their faith when it doesn't happen as they were promised and many of them are told they don't have enough faith and spiritually abused because of it.

This preacher has no idea what he is talking about. I personally know a brother who lived in scoan for seven years. I spent many hours with him personally and know what he preaches. I saw behind the scenes at SCOAN and all sick are handled honestly and with humility. The TV preacher is completely ignorant of healing and casting out devils and has no idea the toll and persecution that comes when you add to the gospel praying for broken humanity. Yes I agree that these people are hucksters, but oftentimes it seems like we are told that if we succeed - if we have money and a nice house and cane take a vacation or 2 a year - then we cannot be a Christian. That the only way to be Christian is to be poor and struggling and suffering.

The part where he instructed people to not take their medicine really struck me. To claim to be a pastor or preacher, or to take on any title from Scripture that carries the weight of authority and tell a sick person that to be faithful to God means to stop taking medicine is wicked. If they are then harmed because they stop taking medicine they need, and they their health gets worse, or they die, the blood is on that teacher's hands.
I have a chronic illness, and I have heard comments like "Are you still taking your medicine?". These comments seemed very judgmental to me. As if taking medicine shows lack of faith. It's ironic, because, while the Charismatics seem to paint the cessationists as judmental, I have seen very harsh and judgmental attitudes from Charismatic people towards people afflicted with physical illness.
Please man of God, don't go on that road. Don't focus on exposing other christians who have fallen short. Focus on your assignment! We gotta understand we don't battle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. TB Joshua wasn't just a false teacher. He was a warlock. Unfortunately, people, including Christians, were blinded by him. This is why Christians need discernment, I understand if someone is desperate for a healing, just do your research on who is going to lay hands on you and pray for you. I watched that 3 part series. Before that I wasn't aware of him. My heart anguishes because of all the false teachers and prophets in the church. I pray that God opens eyes and ears to hear the truth and truly be changed. Don't forget they killed over 100 people when a part of their building collapsed. I wonder if that is related to his death? There's a plethora of these fake Nigerian teachers on Facebook. I confront them about the false prosperity gospel several times a week, sometimes more than 100 times a week. The hilarity, or sadness, if you will, is that most of them completely ignore the biblical teaching I present and have the unmitigated gall to ask me to "follow them." My response? "No, thanks, I follow Jesus rather than false teachers."
There’s a plethora of these false teachers in the United States. They are everywhere, not just Nigeria. Enough of the stereotyping.

It's sad that so many of these false teachers prey on those who want healing. I've been disabled all my life but was able to work but it's progressed so that I'm no longer able to. A former friend was so into this stuff and gave her money to KC and insisted that she could heal me. The longer it took and I didn't get healed the angrier she became and very abusive that it didn't happen. I fully believe that Jesus could heal me instantly if He wanted to but I also know I serve a sovereign God who can do however He chooses and will trust in Him no matter what happens. Doesn't mean I don't have harder days when the physical pain takes its toll but it means I take it to Jesus and He gives me strength to carry on as He always has. We need to pray for those new to the faith who get caught up in this stuff. When the illusion fades it's going to be a true test of their faith that it's not all these miracles they thought they could do because of themselves being deceived. Also as you said pray for those who have had these false teachers preying on them as it''s a test of their faith when it doesn't happen as they were promised and many of them are told they don't have enough faith and spiritually abused because of it.

This preacher has no idea what he is talking about. I personally know a brother who lived in scoan for seven years. I spent many hours with him personally and know what he preaches. He preaches the gospel of Jesus Christ, he prays for the sick and cast out demons as Jesus commanded. The same as TB Joshua. I saw behind the scenes at SCOAN and all sick are handled honestly and with humility. The TV preacher is completely ignorant of healing and casting out devils and has no idea the toll and persecution that comes when you add to the gospel praying for broken humanity.
Like they said to Jesus ; "He has a demon" so will they say it to those who preach the gospel cast out devil's in Jesus name as TB Joshua did.

I agree that some of these guys are fraudulent hucksters. But be careful when trying to lump all 'faith healers' into the same boat. I have seen legitimate healings and deliverances with my own eyes. I don't see any of these heresy hunters doing any miracles or healings either. Having a form of godliness but denying the power is what most of the finger pointers are. I stay away from both and pursue Jesus.
