Did u put thread locker on the pressure plate bolts? Didn’t seem like u did , only asking because I forgot to do that and wondering if it’s fine

I know because I did the same thing. Everyone who has done a clutch on a 240 has done that at least once.
Yeah man wasn’t too fun having to backtrack a bit😂 all apart of the learning process I suppose. Glad you caught that early on!!😂
Enjoyed your video, I have to replace my front input shaft seal as it's leaking gear oil, I'll be doing the same job pretty soon.
My old pilot bushing was so worn that I had to use a long bolt and put the screw behind it. Hold the screw down with a flat screw driver then start tightening the bolt which made the nut push out the pilot bushing. I tried all other methods and the thing would not move. It was so thin from all the wear.

What did you do to make the transmission install easier? I know installing these transmission are annoying because it hits the tunnel
When you installed the throw out bearing, did you press it all the way to the end of the “collar” or did you leave some room? And also, did it stick a little bit towards the end of the input shaft? Trying to find out what’s making my car “grind” when going into 4-5th gear
Hey man, I hammered mine with a bolt and spacer that fit over the bolt as you see in the video. Once the spacer hit the outer wall of where the pilot bushing went, it sat flush and I didn’t hammer it in any further.
