I know Pauls from Pauls Hardware does a lot of home improvements. Man speaks with a drill, but yeah with a house 100% learning the ups and downs of home improvements, especially the small things where you could try and learn to resolve a problem vs hiring someone. I'd love to watch that journey. On a side note, those Electric generators should have a vented enclosure in there if it gets hot and humid. also suggest adding a dehumidifier.

Though I lean more towards the battery backup for a home, propane or gas generators are a lot cheaper than these, and provide longer power. Downside is the noise....they are LOUD and this is near silent on light use.

I was thinking about hiring an electrician to upgrade my circuits because I can't seem to run my AC and my gaming desktop at the same time in my room so I was thinking about a battery type of solution. Circuit upgrades can get expensive

You should put your power stations on a plastic pallet with a sheet of plywood to keep it from sitting in water.
Well adding Solar Panels is a nice investment into the home on top of lowering your electric bills and taking advantage to state rebate every year.
