- Okara is soy pulp leftover from making soy milk or Tofu. In Japan, Tofu stores give away Okara or sell them very cheap because Okara is leftover stuff. However, Okara is full of dietary nutorition with lots of fiber, protein, and vitamins. Depending on how you preapare you turn Okara into amazing dishes. Today, I am introducing 2 dishes using Okara as main ingredients. 1. Okara carrot cake. 2. Okara croquette.
I am happy I found this. I made soy milk and did not want to waste the left over pulp. Very useful. Now that I know it is called Okara it will mean finding even more recipes easier too!

I have so much okara I don't know what to do with it all. I have been dehydrating it and using it as protein powder but I am overflowing with it. we make all of our own dairy from soy. this is very helpful. more like this please. i need as many ideas as I can get. I do like the flavor of it and don't want to discard it. these are super helpful ty ty
