That was my boat, yes it took two years and it was a seven figure boat. Great experiance, it raises fish and drives like a zero turn mower. Best of luck to the new owner. Thanks Nick
The 37 Merritt is a great boat.. I caught my very first Pacific Blue Marlin on a 1963 37 ft Merritt in Kona Hawaii back in 1987.. the name of the boat was Northern lights Captained by igfa record holder Kelly Everett. His boat was absolutely gorgeous too..
That’s awesome. Only been on out for tuna out of Miami once. Funny enough it was on a 44’ Merritt out of Coconut Grove, came back empty handed but had a 10/10 golden hour and the symphony of some sync’s up diesels cruising, still a win.
Beauiful boat!... can you tell a little bit about glassing the bottom of a wood boat? Always heard it was a no no because the fiberglass will keep water trapped inbeween it and the wood, and the wood will then rot.
Great video and love when’s give God all the glory, 1,000% agree! I live on west coast in Madeira Beach and wanted to know if u ever need any help, I’m not greedy, and love doing this when I can,do u ever do larger vessels? Thanks and God Bless!
If you owned that boat in San Diego CA, your screwed. #1 Chula Vista Marina doesn't allow any wooden boats, #2 They don't allow any boats that are more than 20yrs old, its a disturbing trend in Marinas along the west coast.
