Does the umpire have a right not to call the referie if player demands it? I mean the desicion wouldn't be changed anyway, but anyway Camila 2 times asked for it and the umpire didn't call him
When I watch these "drama" videos, by far most of the cause is some bad call regarding lines. This is a professional sport; officials should be using something like Hawkeye or similar, and 99.9% of these issues would disappear. Also, the discussion about whether a call interrupts a shot SHOULD allow video review to analyze what happened. Get a piece of technology involved, and make a threshold, like, for example 0.1 seconds before the contact. Decide with the tennis players group, and then incorporate this into the technical rules run by Hawkeye (or whatever system they use). End of discussion.
Pavs is the nicest, otoh, Giorgi and her dad, as usual.... The umpire should have made Giorgi pick her racquet. Players should pick their own bottles, racquets, etc.. when they throw them away in a tantrum. It shows a total disrespect towards the ballkids. Paire is a usual offender.

Camilla father's reaction is the example of what tennis should not be
Never seen an umpire have to do that, pretty sad tbh.. her father was an idiot
yeah but the ref did some weird shi.t on this match
The man is well-known to be an unsettling lunatic. Quite frankly it's a miracle if this is the first time it's happened.
@@TRASHoftheTITANS the ref did many mistake, and second her attitude is very arrogant. i understand him on this one
@@obamainpotin6759 oh, so that means that he's allowed to intimidate her? you pathetic little male lose r.
At the first and last one I felt like watching two whole movies :D love these videos
That Giorgi one was weird. Umpire was completely in the wrong and made some very questionable calls, yet I still felt a little bad for her when she asked a supervisor to stay close because we all know Giorgi's dad is unhinged. That Pavs one was slightly odd as well, very rude supervisor for absolutely no reason.
Bizarre this umpire was never seen again in WTA's tour she hated Giorgi probably for some reason
@@alancosta4760 catfight 🤷♂️
kudos to pavlyuchenkova! She remained polite even thought the ref is an absolute jerk
Yes like wtf
Pavs us such a gem 💎
Felt so bad for giorgi. That umpire was so out of order.
The Pav vs Pot match has got to be the most grim professional tennis match I've ever come across. Cold, wet and miserable. Empty stadium. Wet balls. People (not even watching) talking and laughing up on a platform while game is in progress. Miserable players slipping about. Wrapped in clothes at changeovers. Padded bodywarmers Jeez!!
Thanks to this channel I've seen some incredible things I've not seen before. Incredible mistakes, incredible lying and cheating, ridiculous attitudes, very dodgy umpires as well as umpires fearing their safety!!....it reallly is an eye-opener. I'm enjoying every moment!! SO glad I'm not a tennis player!! Ha ha.
Lmaoooo
Hahahahhahahhahahah really depressing scenario
Umpire to empty stands: Ladies and gentlemen, the play is suspended 🤣🤣
i wouldve lost it if i was giorgi, tough calls against her
Worst is when her opponnent played the ball and when she saw that her ball landed out, she went to check giorgi’s ball 🤮🙅🏻♂️
I agree Giorgi never says much, she just goes about her business quietly 😳
Ostapenko either has the worst eyesight ever or is the dirtiest caller ever. ALWAYS complaining about balls that are multiple inches in or out. Ridiculous.
How much did Lara get paid for those calls? Horrible refereeing. How Giorgi didn’t go ballistic is beyond me.
Giorgi’s father is a disgrace for her
Pavlyuchenkova: I don't wanna play
Official: We'll wait then
Pavlyuchenkova: I don't wanna wait either
tormo is such a loud player. felt so bad for giorgi
Georgi makes up for the noise with her father.
Wait a minute... something's wrong here... where's Putintseva??
Apparently calling the referee cost hundreds of dollars
Sometimes though, it appears the umpires don't want to admit they are wrong, costing a player points or even the match.
there must be a mistake, this kind of video without the lovely and adorable Miss Yulia 🤔
People like Giorgi's father is what we have plenty of here in Argentina and the reason why we don't make any progress as a country. They make a mistake, get angry and then start whining and insulting when the penalties arrive. They'll also try to blame the rest for their own incompetence.
He is argentinian....
@@luiseduardocarrera-tandil3577 Exactly, that's why I'm saying this
@@ElectricanMV he was a malvinas war veteran... Maybe he had a trauma about that, but he look a little mad....
Ostapenko asks the umpire to show the mark when the ball hit straight into the line xD
Lmao
Best series on RUclips
I would refuse to play any match where that Lara is refereeing if I were Giorgi. She lost control of the match and really targeted Giorgi. Mind you, if I had to play that loud moaning, pushing, ugly play style of Sorribes Tormo I'd be angry without help from the umpire. Frustrating player.
I understand and agree with Giorgi but at the same time - it cost her the match.
I think umpire’s boyfriend is into Giorgi 😂 and it is pure jealousy crime 😻
Thank you for this!
🙏💚
you gotta check Sorribes Tormo to see if she's giving birth out there or something. jeez. sweet person, actually, but horrible sound effects, mate.
OMG!!!! I whould need some security because Giorgi Dad is getting very mad. LOL
The giorgi umpire should be investigated those are really biased calls against giorgi. And she doesnt even want to call the referee.
Agreed
The umpire on sorribes vs giorgi surely bet on the game because i ve never seen so many bad calls on my entire life of watching tennis and always against giorgi
Horribly umpired game. One of the worse I’ve ever seen. All questionable calls went against Giorgi. It was like the umpire had a bet on the other player.
The best drama l have seen in years.
The umpire of giorgi did a strange job...
Pavlyuchenkova: "But come, you're waiting to finish the set, but the balls are wet." Meanwhile everyone who has the pleasure of playing Tennis outdoors in the UK is like: "Get on with it!" =p
the pleasure, mate. hahaha. and yet I've hit up Highgate way in midsummer and have had horrid sunstroke!
Does the umpire have a right not to call the referie if player demands it? I mean the desicion wouldn't be changed anyway, but anyway Camila 2 times asked for it and the umpire didn't call him
The referee has no matter if it is not about a rule. Here it is just about a late call or not, the referee can't say anything about that
Thanks for these videos☺️I love it
🙏💚
Giorgi's Dad must have been a joy at school parents' evenings.
Sorribes-Giorgi was 3h 51min and 2h 11min of that was Camilla preparing to serve. :p
Is the umpire insecure with giorgi?????why won't she call the referee.....
She's so immature.
That referee is doing Giorgi dirty, complete bully.
The umpire was horrible and so obvious against Giorgi. Camila is always quit on court (unlike her father) so I don’t know what your talking about. Her and her fathers actions are definitely justified
@@irenekaloudis377 If you think harassing an umpire, to the point that she had to ask for security, is "justified", then no wonder you have no clue what I am talking about. And Giorgi is quiet, but not the quiet/nice type, but the standoffish/rude kind. She gives awful handshakes (more like handslaps, really) and never has a word for her opponents, same as throwing her racquet and not even bothering to pick it up, so the ballkid had to do it. Not nice at all.
paire is an incorrigible kent.
Pavs us such a gem 💎
What I didn’t understand why wasn’t Giorgi’s father removed from the game! Giorgi’s father causes more problems for Giorgi her father is a real pain & adds so much disrespect to his daughter Giorgi & the game of tennis & made this referee more irritated! Just remove Giorgi’s father & be done with it! If the referee continues making unfair calls then I would make a written complaint to the referee’s supervisor! It sounds like this referee got irritated when Giorgi & Giorgi’s father started questioning her calls! Right or wrong without Hawkeye you only have the referee & lines people word & you as a player can’t question it! For some reason this referee made wrong calls which didn’t go Giorgio’s way! As a player when this happens I don’t know if a written complaint helps?
it's wet, it's cold, it's not Florida, the people 50 meters away are talking, I'm hungry, I need to pee, I want my mummy... Holy sht!!! 😂😂
Meanwhile in Istambul Qiang Wang finished a 2 hours and something match without saying a word
so what? Pav was so sweet about the way she handled the situation. the supervisor should just be fired for how he handled the situation. he clearly didn't care at all about the players' welfare
@@poplova he did though balls being wet isn't a safety issue and when the umpire and players agreed that the court was unsafe he suspended the play. He didn't express himself completely the perfect way and came across a bit arrogant but he didn't do anything wrong.
Giorgi match umpire made so many bad calls. Giorgi's father shouldn't be getting involved, but you can understand his frustration
the calls didn't look that bad when I watched.
@@poplova they were terrible
they were bad. She was robbed at least 3 points. The call on the in ball she hit was late, sorribos tormo looked at the mark after seeing her ball go long. And that time violation when the ball bounced out of her hand.0
@@dennisvillaflor3359 You can't really say someone should have won when their ball was out in the first place. It was out, you are meant to loose the point. As for time violations I suspect there were a number of them early in the match that the umpire let her off on, we just get to see the ones she called.
