All abadie revolvers look amazing. I think the Swiss 1929 ordanance revolver is the best though from a purely cosmetic perspective. Historically speaking, it's a little bit saddening when you learn that the mechanical system known as the "abadie" revolver was invented a decade too late. Had the abadie system been inventeed ten to fifteen years earlier (in the 1870s) it would have been a game changer. But by the time they were actually put into service across multiple european armed forces it was already obsolete as more efficient revolvers had come into fruition such as the Swiss and Wesson model 3 as well as the Webley MK I.

The 7.62x38mmR cartridges have a gas-seal system and when you cock the weapon, the cylinder closes into the barrel and increases the bullets muzzle velocity. So this 7-round bad boy can have a suppressor. Now I want to play as a stealthy Russian cowboy.

I got thrown away the fuck off when he threw in a seventh bullet. To this day I still forget that revolvers can come in 7 and 5 rounds cylinders. I'm used to them only being six and eight rounds. What's next is there a 4 rounds cylinder too? There is isn't there before anybody says there's one with three, I've already seen the 50 BMG revolver before. That thing is a fucking beast.

So let me ruin day for all of the CoD kids: 1) This is NOT the only revolver that can be suppressed - it's 130 YEARS OLD AND TECHNOLOGY HAS IMPROVED. 2) Ammunition looks that way to create a better seal - cylinder moves forward, casing goes into the barrel and there is no gap between barrel and cylinder anymore. 3) Don't listen to anyone who tells you that 2 happens, because it was designed to be suppressed - It wasn't, they are dumb and wrong. First suppressor (Or silencer, how Maxim called them) didn't appear for like 20 more years after this revolver was originally designed. And the first suppressor for Nagant appeared in WW2 and it's ridiculously difficult to find, which is why there is so few videos with Nagant being actually suppressed - it's an old revolver and there isn't enough idiots to ruin it by threading the barrel. 4) Keep ranting about "Soldier" and "Officer" version, but it doesn't matter, because "Officer" version is DA/SA anyway and you have to take out exactly one part to make it a "Soldier" version.

The grip texture looks absolutely fire. Tbh id rather get issued that than a TT-38 because at least these didnt go off in the holster. Not to mention for a long time these were the only revolvers capable of taking suppressors which i think is awesome

I was going to purchase onein 2006 for $125.00 . Maryland had some stupid gun laws. I was coming down with a bad cold . I could see the questions on the form. I asked my friend to just read the questions. The clerk said ot was illegal for anyone to read the questions on the background check. I yold the jerk ( clerk i was sick and could ). I didn't get the gun. The manager called me 3 days later if i still wanted the pistol. I told yes, but wasn't going to drive 2.5 hour's to this out doors store.
