- I don't really have anything to say other than that I love our girl, so much, and this was worth the dozens and dozens of hours of editing, audio splicing, replacing SFX, colour grading, and compiling.
I went all out on this one, and I hope you all like it.

“That’s why we’re here, to make it better.”
It’s **the** most important line Ruby has ever said. It encapsulates EVERYTHING about her character and who she is in one sentence.
I love this, it includes exactly what makes me think Ruby is such a good character despite how much hate she gets. She doesn't go through massive changes like the others because she isn't allowed to, and I'm not talking about lazy writing where they just aren't writing her to change, I'm talking in world if Ruby stopped and talked about her problems it wouldn't make sense and it would be ignored by the other characters or dismissed, even now they treat her as a child while looking straight at her when they need a plan.
"She could have just talked to us" "Maybe she didn't know she could" "It's not like we were asking her to be perfect" the most interesting part is, she couldn't if she dared to try to express her problems other people responded by dismissing it with their own or getting mad, they were asking her to be perfect just in the roundabout way of demanding her to not fail the same way she did in silence but now demand can change the reality of telling a 17 year old she had to be the one that makes the plan where no one dies.
Her speech to Jaune encapsulates this entire idea "you're a leader now, you're not allowed to be a failure"(it may be feel like a failure but still) and this is what Ruby believes is the truth, so imagine how she feels when she can't vent about her problems without someone blaming her for it even though she is not only the youngest but didn't choose to be leader, she has to make all the plans and all the deaths are on her hands and she didn't even get a choice but she can't explain that 'cause that is a failure.
Ruby is an insanely depressing character hiding behind a cheerful mask and almost everyone in RWBY(the show) just makes it worse on her, sure they temporarily lift the weight off her shoulders in short instances where they have a chance to breath but the moment the next thing goes wrong they shout and get angry and blame her for being the one to make the plan despite being the ones that looked at her for the plan adding all that weight they took off and some more, she is Atlas but the world keeps getting bigger.
I love this, this is exactly how I view her but I never knew how to word it, Ruby will always be the best in my eyes, she’s my favorite.
I totally agree and to add to it that jaune could have helped her come up with a plan after all he is also a leader so instead of blaming her for it being a disaster he could have helped with the plan too
Technically if he’s gonna blame anyone it’s his team and Oscar’s fault cuz if they kept the lamp from Neo cinder wouldn’t have been able to use it to find out the plan and it probably could have worked a lot better
@@timleonhart7085 yes it's always bugged me that Jaune only takes on the leader role when it's favorable and only when it's following someone else's plan, he's meant to be in the same position as Ruby but they are treated as if she is a higher up ordering him to do everything he does.
Ruby will always be awesome in my eyes and she is my favorite character in RWBY 💖💖💖 and I have more one favorites they are Yang , Blake , summer , Raven , qrow , winter , Weiss , jaune and more
She has changed in a number of ways. We have seen her grow up from being this child to being a young woman who has surpassed the expectations no one could have ever imagined. I have never doubted you Ruby Rose, you have never failed your friends, family, teammates or me. You have what it takes to do this job. Just keep being you and you are the reason being a hero is possible. No matter what anyone says, I will never stop believing you.
I love the way you have Yang tell Ruby she is special but then you add Ozpin immediately after saying that remains to be seen 😂
I feel like the next time someone tries to say that Ruby is a flat character that hasn't grown i'm going to send them this video. It just encompasses her growth (and growth continuation) so well
A lot of the people that say that seem to think that character development has to be in your face constantly and if the series isn't specifically drawing attention to it then it isn't happening.
It's really bizarre because I've NEVER seen this sort of thing so prevelant with any other, Fandom.
People do that shit for Cinder too, and act like her backstory was "too little too late" even though, 1. Her character is STILL developing, and 2. You could have easily started piecing her together based on the things she said and how she said them from Volume 2 onward.

this video represents for me who an what is Ruby Rose, is a girl who has to hold sometimes much more that she could, but that's doesn't stop her, and in the end the she sometimes feels that she don't deserves nothing of the things she has archived, like she has imposter syndrome
for me is an incredible character and maybe my favourite character of the show

Yoooooo this hits HARD when you put all of her growth together like this for each season. It makes ruby more human. The pure emotions going on......
And the background music is on key with each part.
I have MAJOR problems with both the show and Ruby's development as a character. However, sometimes there is nothing wrong with taking a big step back and looking at the best parts of something to remember why it means so much to you in the first place. This video was an amazing edit that I greatly enjoyed from start to finish, and ended with a smile on my face. I can't say that about too many things nowadays. So thank you for the work you put into this, it means a lot to me.

This is an incredible video you should be proud. I love the Ruby love/appreciation. While she is not 1 of my top favorite characters I think she’s a great character. I love the way you told her story with this video. I love how you showed all the pressure she and others put on herself as well as all the trauma, hardship & harsh reality she experienced/saw.
Seeing all of those moments together in one video really makes it clear how much Ruby was hurting & dealing with mentally it’s really sad. You did a great job with the way you edited the visuals together was really good. You really captured her sadness & everything that led to her breakdown and ascension decisions. The different music you used work really well for the depressing/dark scenes, the awesome scenes and the hopeful moments amazing job. I love this show so much love seeing people create great content based on it.
I really think you deserve more subscribers I hope sharing this video will do that. Awesome video & keep up the great work. :-)

In all seriousness this is perfect, seeing how far Ruby's come from her socially awkward Beacon days to leading the fight against Salem. Can't wait for volume 10 so I can see more Ruby kicking ass

This- this is the essence of RWBY- you've so beautifully captured the arc of growth Ruby goes through, so much so that tears were streaming down my face barely even a quarter way through. It's like you said in the description- this was definitely worth the dozens and dozens of hours put into it!✨

I don't think words exist for the level of waves and intensity of emotion that swelled inside of me watching this. I was moved to tears. I can't thank you enough for this masterpiece, and letting us see it.
It during these times that I love that I have a high tolerance for shows in terms of plot holes, quality, etc. Since when I began Rwby when there was 8 volumes, and once I caught up, I didn't really have any complaints that will lead me to think it is bad or mid. After I looked a people's opinions was when I realised that I genuinely enjoy the show despite people saying all its faults. While I can understand their points and agree with some, I tend to over look it since I am focused on enjoying the show. Just wish more people can do the same and see how great Rwby is, then maybe the show will get more recognition and money to make it even better.

You know it means alot that it was rubys development that made volume 9 soo much full and easy the best season since the first 3 and some how made us feel even more all of rwby is amazing but thos who say ruby is a bad charater just see that her storie drive rwby sure the storie has moon creator size plot holes at time but not once has rhe show every made me not love every second and that because of. Ruby rose every step of the way rubys been my favorite charater and volume 9 was so great cause it drew all of the focuse on Ruby her self for a change instead of everyone else her brake down is what show the depths of her charater. And anyone who know a good storie well see that criticists well be critics but rwby is one of the best show/animes out there it my not be no one peace, avatar , or naruto but its a amazing show form were it came from

But she is dependable, cheerful, optimistic, innocent, caring, kind, serious, determined, hopeful, honest, brave, friendly, understandable and the most of all she have a pure heart and soul

Ruby tu puedes arreglar las cosas se que tu puedes hacerlo por que yo veo ese rayo de luz esa chispa en ti y hagas lo que hagas con ella te ira genial.
En este volumen todos ya estaban arreglados porque ruby siempre los guío por el buen camino. Es la primera vez que se trataba sobre ella, y te diste cuenta que nadie le hizo caso hasta la dejaron morir frente a ellos y nadie lloro o se enojo

And when we saw the Gd Brother's changing the landscape of the Ever After with their powers and teeth, Ruby will finally be able to destroy Salem by devouring her.
