SO SO BEAUTIFUL. I think the most impressive thing to me is the flawlessly-executed sound mixing -- not only is it technically perfect, but as in your other videos, it tells the story in a whole 'nother dimension, as succinctly and powerfully as the best-chosen visuals ever could. I'm curious about your process; do you start with the song, the audio script, or the visuals? Outstanding work yet again!

It's almost always the song that I start with! I'll be listening to music and a song will come on, and as I listen to it sometimes I end up thinking "Y'know, this would really suit____". While I used to just ignore it and indulge it as daydreams, these days I open up my editing software, plop the song onto it, and then open up my footage. Each video tends to start with 3-4 moments that I KNOW I want in there at specific beats from the jump, and I build it around those moments.
This video for example, I began with the "Your team deserves a great leader, Jaune." moment, then I did the Renora kiss and I Love You's, third was the "I know this is just the beginning" soundbite edit from Pyrrha's training video onto the END of her "I've made friendships that will last a lifetime" because I'm cruel, and finally I knew I wanted the ending shot to be of them walking away from Pyrrha's statue so I did that, and I built the rest of the video out from those moments in each direction.
