First, I’m was so happy to see you had a video out. So many RUclipsrs/promote a way of dressing that just doesn’t fit my life style, especially since I just retired. Even when I worked outside the home the first thing I did when I came home was to change my clothes. I want to be comfy at home. Thank you for reminding us that we should dress for the life we have and to not apologize for it.
You are right! I am home 99% of the time and casual is my style. I have a few pieces that are for a more dressed up occasion, and I am drawn to collecting those pieces because they are different from what I wear everyday. I’ve had to learn to keep those purchases extremely minimal or purchase items that could be used everyday as well.
Love this so much! I have been allowing my style to slowly evolve and your journey is very encouraging. I'm in the stage where I am asking myself what makes me feel good rather than just what looks good on other people. It's kind of fun!
I don't really have anything to do but with fashion but I love supporting small RUclipsrs, so I just wanted to remind u that 10k is a small length away ♥️❤️🩹
When I started my first job after graduating I went through the beginning of a forced style change, now 2yrs later I am finally beginning to realize & accept what my style is. Comfortable is key: I went from hating to shop & just wearing old boxy tshirts & jeans with an occasional dress for church, to higher quality tshirts and pointe pants (not the ones that are tight enough to be leggings) appropriate for business casual, and both tshirt dresses and more fit & flare A line dresses that get worn about 50% of the time. Still evolving and growing, some of the styles I like are to “costumey” for work, and others I may have to make myself, but am for once enjoying the journey of “shopping” for *my* clothes.
I’ve been changing up my wardrobe a lot this year because of a new job and I just found your channel while looking into how to be more sustainable with fashion and I really appreciate your perspective on dressing for yourself and your lifestyle rather than what’s trending or what you think is expected of you!
Hi Val, yes to all of this, really get the fantasy self lifestyle, leaning more into real life, ultimate goal is always to be comfortable first, natural fabrics always and knowing what colours I like and make me feel good. Always a pleasure to see you. Suze. 🤗🥰 x
Thank you so much! You made some points that I have and am still going through that I have not heard anyone else talk about! It has made me feel so much better. Thank you, thank you!
This is why we love and relate to your chanel 💐 it makes sense and is absolutely realistic! Thank you! Have great holidays and always a joy to come back every time you create, as always, best regards 🥀 Miss. Lilly 🥀
Yes! Having quality wardrobe pieces that serve my daily life is really important to me too. Living in the PNW, it’s so easy to feel overdressed when the style here is so casual. Do you feel the same?

So true! Even though the exciting pieces are more fun to buy 😅
So true Val! Wear what suits your lifestyle and what makes you feel good, not dictated by trends, yes 😊❤
Yes! It's hard to remember sometimes... 😅
