Last Sunday I walked in to the GEG terminal from the employee parking lot with a FA that works for your airline! During our conversation, I mentioned watching your YT channel, and she said she's flown with you! What are the odds? Unfortunately, I can't remember her name (Senior Moment!) Anyway, as I've said before, if you have a 90-120 minute "sit" at GEG after 1630 on Thu-Fri-Sat-Sun, meander down to the Hertz counter and I'll buy you a coffee! As always, Cheers from GEG ❣
Did I see a Christmas tree ar the brewery. Looks like you had an awesome and kind crew. So are you able to put all the different videos with CapCut ( thanks for the recommendation Alyssa). I cannot just imagine how difficult it is to commute. Do you have to pay or still fly non rev on other airlines.
Couldn't you work for another airline with a base closer to Austin? 🤔 Southwest Airlines is based in TX. I'm sure you love the airline you work for, but holy moly, that commute sounds brutal even on a good day. 😱
Southwest isn't and probably won't be hiring for a while, but there are several airlines that have bases in Texas. Alot of flight attendants do commute and like their seniority at their current airline. She may even want to convert over to Alaska eventually. 🤷🏽♀️
Yeah I love my airline and even if other airlines have Texas bases, they may not be available for me to be based at and I don’t want to be east coast based really 😂 it is tiring some days but I love my days off in Austin and that makes it worth it 🫶🏼
@@alittlebitoflyss yes. I was OAK based out of training for two months, and commuting from Dallas was a headache. Do you plan on transferring to Alaska, or staying regional? My daughter loves it with Horizon so far. 😊

Depends on the airline but sometimes we just have to pay the taxes on the flight

Because I couldnt hold a line in Seattle and it was WAY harder to commute on reserve
