Getting a call to say you’re being switched to the princess who literally got the gift of being the most beautiful girl in the realm is such a compliment ahhh 😍
Well, that depends on which princess. If it was Belle, in the Spring time but it's in her village blue dress, that would be fun. But if you're Cinderella, in the summer time but it's in her ball gown, you'll be saying in your head, "Oh please let this be over! I need to get out of this now! It's 103 degrees and my gloves are full of sweat!".
@@osmanyousif7849 bestie she was switched to AURORA. That is who I was referring to. I said imagine getting switched to the princess that got the gift of beauty. Nobody said anything about any other princess 🤣🤣🤣 carry on
How? They're not reserving only the most beautiful people to play Aurora, all of the princesses are played by conventionally-attractive people. I think being cast as any of them is an equal "compliment" in that regard.
I love that my 8 year old daughter said “It doesn’t matter” when she heard you comparing yourself to others’ beauty. Thanks for sharing your experience.
I'm 99% positive that my gal and I met you both as Aurora and Wasp. We're both just a couple of big kids at heart and the way you portrayed both characters in different times really made our visits feel special. Thank you for that.
Girl, I don't know you and haven't watched your videos before or anything but please continue to make videos. You're SO engaging to listen to and entertaining, just the way you joke around and say things. It's hilarious. I could see you popping off!
When I first saw you, I knew right away that you should be Princess Aurora, who happens to be my favorite of all the Disney princesses. When you said they wanted you to be Elsa, I was thinking, What! Ok whatever, but later they switched you to Princess Aurora and I thought ok they got it right this time! You should still be Princess Aurora! You are such a sweetheart! People like you, I want in my life❤
Would love to hear more Disney stories. The more the merrier 😀Love all your suggested topics, pros and cons of working for Disney, vlogs with your best friend. Fun stories and make up
Hey Ally, first off LOVE your comic selections in the background, Uzumaki, Junji Ito rocks! Second, thank you for sharing your experience, it’s always enlightening to hear from the folks behind the magic. I’m sure there were ups and downs that came with the job, but like you said, it’s one of those once in a lifetime experiences, and looking forward to hearing more!
When you smiled to show what you sent in, it immediately clicked for me. You're gorgeous and have probably always photographed well, but those smiles IMMEDIATELY said Disney Princess that photographs beautifully!
I can see why they hired you. You seem to have the kind of cheerful personality they look for (from what I can see when I interacted with some park employees the one time I was there).
Thank you for the transparency in this video! Loved knowing which princess you played. And thank you for showing the amazing pics, too. So cool to see 😍 And so great to hear your honest Disney experiences 👏🏻 can’t wait to watch more videos!
Thank you for sharing. Regarding your March 13th experience - I would’ve left in shock 😮 and cried at home. 😭 My goodness! I’m so glad you allowed yourself to enjoy your opportunity later on. It’s something you’ll always remember. ❤
Thank you for working so hard and making so many happy,, i cant imagine how much work you and the other wonderful performers get through each day and having to smile and be kind every moment, it shows incredible patience, genuine kindness and care to do. For the women i can only imagine the kinds of moments you might encounter with over enthusiastic men at times. All the best young lady, and to everyone who performs to make everyone happy at disney land.
loved this video!! a dream of mine is to be a disney princess actor, either at parties or for disney! I don’t live close enough to any of the parks though unfortunately, my dream may never come true but i absolutely lovvveeed listening to yours!!
I have a daughter that wants to be a princess, so this was really fascinating. Thanks for sharing. Not gonna lie, didn’t see the “excited to be back in the club” line coming! Haha.
Thank you for sharing this story. I have never been a Disney Princess, but I did work in the Disney College Program back in 2019-2020 and was so excited to get a permanent role at WDW when the pandemic hit so I can totally relate to that whole time. I was so sad when we got the layoffs and then let go. Happily, I will be returning to work at WDW in January! Your story brought back a lot of feels. ✨
This video was so sweet and it was nice to hear your audition process. It’s refreshing to see how genuine you are, especially during the auditions, and how nervous you were and how you got through it. I would like hear some guest stories like memorable moments or wild interactions, as well as the benefits you had and process of getting ready!! 😊
This was a really great story, very interesting to hear about the process. It seems like you had a really good attitude throughout everything, and I'm glad you enjoyed your time there! :)
What an incredible experience in being able to bring a smile to a child..and adult! I have two tuxedo kitties (sisters) and their names are......wait for it......Aurora and Jasmine. 🙂😻 Thank you for sharing your journey with Disney!
Girl you are absolutely gorgeous! I used to love taking pictures with those princesses in the park lol and it remains as a core memory.... I used to think the cast members were the actual princesses in the movies, i mean... what can you expect from a 5-year-old but I swear yall look ethereal, that's why... Thank you for sharing your experience with us and it feels nostalgic thinking of those days when I could go to disneyland frequently and not deal with stupid schoolwork.... 💀
Oh my God I think I saw you!! I just went Disney and saw u as aurua and you high fived my hand!!! You were so in character, and it was the same photo you showed in this video and I wished I could of take a photo with you!! But I got to experience this and all I gotta say, you are beautiful!! Absolutely beautiful ahhhh I wished I could of taken a photo with you!!! 😢😢😢❤❤❤
fellow ex-cast member here in the same department, you're beautiful and your story reminds me of those initial feels when I first started and had my "put in" day. great story!
I love the story. I am glad you went to Disney because it is a one-time experience. And maybe it is what you should be doing until you got your dream job.
Awe, I love this especially all the different characters! 😍 I would like to see photos of all of them and I could picture you very well as Elsa 💖 thank you for this video 💖
Hey Ally, I just want to remind you that you are more than enough. Don’t ever doubt yourself or your worth. I understand how it feels to struggle with confidence or imposter syndrome. While I know our experiences are different, I went through something similar when I tried out for the male version of Miss Universe. Somehow, out of 2,000 applicants, I became "Mister Japan." For the longest time, I felt like it must have been a mistake, like they chose me for the wrong reasons. But I want you to know this: you were chosen because of every incredible quality you possess, inside and out. Your beauty, your character, and your personality shine so brightly, and those are exactly the things that make you stand out, and that’s no accident. I know it’s easier said than done, and I’m still working on this myself, but you have every right to feel immensely proud of what you’ve accomplished. You earned it on your own, and that is a testament to how amazing you are. Be proud of yourself, Ally. You deserve it.
Are you kidding me.. Aurora!??😆😆 Girl!!! You got the BEST Princess!! She’s the Og!! And my favorite!’😍😍 And you definitely look like her!! You’re so pretty!! 😃
Hi Ally, thanks for the informative video. So fantastic you didn't give in to insecurities, and had this wonderful experience. My questions: 1. How many hours is a shift? 2. How do you keep high level of energy on the last hour of your work day? Do they teach you that in training? 3. Is it true you can never say "I don't know" to a question? 4. How do you answer a question like "are you really Aurora"? 5. Do you get in training a folder with dozens of questions and answers to study during training? Thank you! ❤
Your comment about meeting your BFF made me smile! I worked at the hotels and met my BFF the same way. I'm sure we may have crossed paths many times at the Grand Californian Bungalow grill. I would always laugh a little when Tiana would mirror check before heading to the Napa Rose because her dress was SO BIG! I'd have to wait for her because I couldn't pass to get to my location on stage until she finished!😄 Some of the off stage conversations were hilarious because they were normal everyday talks but in princess dress! Sometimes I would see four of the princesses (maybe you as well!) lined up near the door to go on stage to the Princess Breakfast. I would get a laugh out of that because it looked like a police line up of Disney royalty!😂👸🏰🌠
I would’ve been really torn about returning to be a princess after graduation too. Really happy for you that you chose to do it. After only a couple years later it wouldn’t be something that you could ever return to and being selected in the first place is such a rare opportunity. Your career would always be waiting for you.
20 minutes in and I just wanted to say your speech is 10/10. At no point did you say “umm or emm”… to fill the empty space. You just gathered your thoughts and kept talking. I know it’s totally random but very pleasant 😅
Can you do an examples of questions you were asked by guests and your answers of course. What time did you start/leave? Did you wear heels all day as Aurora if so how high were they and were they uncomfortable?
OMG! Did you play Meg during sweethearts nite back in 2023? Because if so, I took a picture with you! You were so lovely to interact with. And I remember feeling bad for the cast member playing hercules because I could tell he was really cold in his costume and he was trying to cover himself as much as he could with his short cape. I hope he didn't get a cold or anything after.
You are looking really like Princess Aurora. I'd have loved to see you with a blonde wig, make-up and a cute dress. Your smile is gorgeous. But what is more important how friendly and kind of a person you seem to be. Plus, the positive attitude, even though you struggled back then with shyness, you still did overcame it. Tha's crazy.
its so nice to hear ur perspective!! ive wanted to audition for disney but been wary since im not super proficient in acting or dancing lol. its reassuring to hear you talk abt imposter syndrome and ur also soo funny :D
"Thank God, I'm back in the club" 😂. I feel you tho. I thought life would never be the same again 😮💨. I had terrible anxiety the first time I went out again. Monkeypox was on the rise at that time too 🥴
Great video! I have always wanted to know what kind of benefits cast members get. Do you get in for free in your off days? Do you get a buddy pass to bring a friend or family member?
Hey Ally! You are so sweet! I loved this video. Would love to learn more about the hierarchy at Disney in terms of who gets to perform in parades and shows. Would also love to hear your roommate’s experience! ❤
Please do a video about the wig process. I want to know how you got the wig on, if the tiara was sewed into the wig or if it was an extra piece. Was the wig heavy or itchy? Did the wig feel light, like you would go out to do a meet and greet and you would think you didn't have it on? Did they give you special glue so the wig would stay on? Did your head hurt from having the hair up all the time? Where were your dressing rooms?
I’m an actress and I work as a princess performer in kids parties, and we try to replicate and be the more faithful that we can to everything you do at Disney, specially since here in Brasil there is no Disney parks, and Disney World and Disneyland is just something not accessible for MOST of the people, including me, Disney is MY LIFE since I was born and I’ve never been to Disney yet… 😞 So I have a special question for you, as an actress trying to do her best to make some latinas kids’ dreams come true: can you please make a video teaching us how to do Aurora’s makeup??? 🥺🙏🙏🙏💖💖💖
I just stumbled onto your channel. I was @ Disneyland on March 13th which happened to be a Friday the 13th this was last day to use my Annual Pass before the closure. I stayed till closing. I loved how all the characters were at the train station stairs waving goodbye to us😢 It was very bitter sweet & lovely. Also was lucky to see the new parade before it went away, Magic Happens. My question is have any of the dads ever been inappropriate with you during one the character greetings ? Have heard rumours of this for years. Lordy I hope it hasn't happened to you.
So interesting to hear about. My daughter is 14 and wants to be a Weeki Wachee Mermaid when she graduates high school. Maybe by then she will want to leave the nest and go work at Disney who knows. Id love to hear about working at Disneyland because there are so many Disney World videos about housing and college program etc. But not much info about Disneyland. Do they even have housing in California? Did you ever consider going overseas to work in a Disney park?
Enjoyed hearing about your journey and glad you didn’t get sucked in as so many easily do. You could easily have done contracts for HKDL, TDL. DCL, etc. Instead you were able to walk away with some amazing memories.
I loved working there during the holiday season. I love hearing you as you are talking about the trials and tribulations of being a princess. Did you get to know Loki? Did he mention the Snow? I would love to talk to you more about Disney stuff…but not here.
Subscriber from England 🏴. I’d love some story times. I’m going to Disney world in Easter and I’m not sure how awkward I’ll be around characters but I really want to let my inner child take over and not get in my head too much. Especially with non talking characters. Any advice? ❤
They still do cattle calls, actually. I don't know about Disney World, but I went to one of one for Tokyo in the summer. I thought it was going to be dance first but it ended up being a massive type out. They didn't even walk down the line or really give us any instructions, we just stood in lines of 20 and they looked at us all at once. If Disney World does not do typouts anymore except for online, then Tokyo is the only park to still be doing them
I can tell you as a dad….you made a lot of dads day, but made their nights back at the room w mom not so good! Nothing like seeing your little girl super excited to see the princess she loves…..but we dads no matter how hard we look away the wife says “you only took ( daughters name here ) to meet bc you wanted a closer look” . Not the case, as a dad of a little girl she runs your life and makes your day with big hug after meeting her fave princess!
I have so many questions but I’ll try to limit them to one topic for now, lol. What are the “rules” to staying within character or keeping things true to the character you’re playing’s story? Do they give a general script of things you can and can’t say? Are you forced to consume all their new content to stay up to date and not be blindsided with the mention of a new character’s name? Can you reference other stories/movies on your own? For example, I recently saw a video of the Evil Queen interacting with Lady Tremaine and they were talking about walking down a road and I swear they were referring to Agatha All Along.
Stumbled upon this as a former Security cast member. I have an eerily similar experience. I got hired in Vegas for a new security job on the strip and got furloughed/called back. Had I kept my previous full time casino job I would have worked the entire shutdown because I was classified as full time security. I chased the money. And now I regret it. Making the right choice especially when it comes to Disney is always the right choice!
Would love it if you could share any thing useful you saw parents do to help their shy child during interactions with you or other characters!! I'm sure you saw a lot of different tactics
I’m gonna be so fr I think you and I were both in the waiting room at Team Disney in the blue building January 2020😂. I was only there from January 2020- March 2020 though!
Based on the title I kept avoiding this video. Why is the algorithm suggesting something negative from a channel I don't know? I'm glad I gave it a shot. You are so positive and engaging. Great story. ❤
I m the opposite I don’t follow Disney stuff, but I follow tea and drama channels…and I was like ?.? Who is this and what is Disney TEAAA?😂. SHE IS SO SWEET 💕
I would have loved to work as a Disney character - but I don't have the improv skills needed 😂😂. Just gotta dress up as a Disney princess on my own - Halloween is my time to shine.
Been to DW 22x and DL 2x. I'd love to work at the Magic shop in DL, the one in DW is no longer there. The DL Magic shop is now owned by Joshua Jay = pretty famous magician. 🌟
The “easiest job”??? 😆 I could never. I can’t think of anything harder! Beeeing a princess? And talking to strangers? I knew you were suited for it from your looks and your way of expressing yourself. But when you said that, wow you’re literally perfect for the job.
Hi! I'm new here! I have Autism and ADHD and Disney Princesses are actually one of my special interests! I think it's SO cool that you got to play Aurora! She's one of my favourites, as well as Belle, (because I'm a bookworm hehe) and Merida (Because some of my family is Scottish) :)
My daughter is named Aurora and Princess Aurora is of course her absolute favorite. My daughter also thinks she is Princess Aurora too lol. We live by WDW but have been to Disneyland a lot and we love meeting the princesses.
Please do a video giving examples of answering difficult questions from children while staying in character!
yes this is really what I wanna see!!
She can barely string a sentence together
I thought she did well, besides saying the word “like “ way too much. 🫤. But I’ve noticed a lot of people talk like that, without even realizing it. 😐
@ did well with what?
Girl this is SO RANDOM but I went to Disney back in May, and you were my Aurora there! Haha I have a picture with you
Yesss i swear I have a picture of her from Nov 2023

Too make “likes”
I agree with that like I can’t even do that
Just like someone replied, she says “like” sooo many times which is viewed as an annoying filler word.

Did your head hurt from having the hair up all the time? Where were your dressing rooms?
Please do part 2! I loved it. Can you tell how much do you get paid, how it’s the backstage and things like that? I’m so interested in that things
It's like fun to be a Disney princess. I like to be one too😁.
New subscriber here! 😁 Yes, please do a part 2!
I’m an actress and I work as a princess performer in kids parties, and we try to replicate and be the more faithful that we can to everything you do at Disney, specially since here in Brasil there is no Disney parks, and Disney World and Disneyland is just something not accessible for MOST of the people, including me, Disney is MY LIFE since I was born and I’ve never been to Disney yet… 😞
So I have a special question for you, as an actress trying to do her best to make some latinas kids’ dreams come true:
can you please make a video teaching us how to do Aurora’s makeup??? 🥺🙏🙏🙏💖💖💖
love this!! i'm 28 now but still dream of working at disney even if not as a princess haha maybe one day!
🙏💚🌻 Thank you for creating this video and starting your channel. I subscribed because I used to work along side the Princesses at WDW
Wonderful story, thank you for sharing.
Enjoyed hearing about your journey and glad you didn’t get sucked in as so many easily do. You could easily have done contracts for HKDL, TDL. DCL, etc. Instead you were able to walk away with some amazing memories.
2:53 it would be funny if someone said “My favorite Halloween candy is POISON APPLES!” and then cackled like a witch.
If Disney World does not do typouts anymore except for online, then Tokyo is the only park to still be doing them
That was awesome, Ally!😀💙💙💙💙💙💙💙🌷💖⭐🎇💖🎇💖🎇💖🎇💖🎇💖🎇👍
Your so pretty I love your eyes and your face features! I just subscribed please do more ❤
I can tell you as a dad….you made a lot of dads day, but made their nights back at the room w mom not so good!
I'd love to know how many are you to do the parades and meet and greets ?
Do you like gifts of your character ?
I have so many questions but I’ll try to limit them to one topic for now, lol. What are the “rules” to staying within character or keeping things true to the character you’re playing’s story? Do they give a general script of things you can and can’t say? Are you forced to consume all their new content to stay up to date and not be blindsided with the mention of a new character’s name? Can you reference other stories/movies on your own? For example, I recently saw a video of the Evil Queen interacting with Lady Tremaine and they were talking about walking down a road and I swear they were referring to Agatha All Along.
I think you’re the sleeping beauty my girls met!
How cute!!❤❤
I was only there from January 2020- March 2020 though!
as an old close friend of the fur babies at 4'9" at D-World, i have to say you are one of the best looking Auroras I have ever seen.
I bet you made a lovely Princess Aurora. You look like a Princess Aurora!
Wow you must be really tall to do Meg! Plus to deal with that wig is impressive!
Literally The Princess Diaries 😂
So fun to hear!
I loved this.
Pro/cons video!!! Also, how was the pay?
My daughter is named Aurora and Princess Aurora is of course her absolute favorite. My daughter also thinks she is Princess Aurora too lol. We live by WDW but have been to Disneyland a lot and we love meeting the princesses.
