Getting a call to say you’re being switched to the princess who literally got the gift of being the most beautiful girl in the realm is such a compliment ahhh 😍
Well, that depends on which princess. If it was Belle, in the Spring time but it's in her village blue dress, that would be fun. But if you're Cinderella, in the summer time but it's in her ball gown, you'll be saying in your head, "Oh please let this be over! I need to get out of this now! It's 103 degrees and my gloves are full of sweat!".
I'm 99% positive that my gal and I met you both as Aurora and Wasp. We're both just a couple of big kids at heart and the way you portrayed both characters in different times really made our visits feel special. Thank you for that.
Girl, I don't know you and haven't watched your videos before or anything but please continue to make videos. You're SO engaging to listen to and entertaining, just the way you joke around and say things. It's hilarious. I could see you popping off!
Would love to hear more Disney stories. The more the merrier 😀Love all your suggested topics, pros and cons of working for Disney, vlogs with your best friend. Fun stories and make up
Thank you for the transparency in this video! Loved knowing which princess you played. And thank you for showing the amazing pics, too. So cool to see 😍 And so great to hear your honest Disney experiences 👏🏻 can’t wait to watch more videos!
Thank you for sharing this story. I have never been a Disney Princess, but I did work in the Disney College Program back in 2019-2020 and was so excited to get a permanent role at WDW when the pandemic hit so I can totally relate to that whole time. I was so sad when we got the layoffs and then let go. Happily, I will be returning to work at WDW in January! Your story brought back a lot of feels. ✨
What an incredible experience in being able to bring a smile to a child..and adult! I have two tuxedo kitties (sisters) and their names are......wait for it......Aurora and Jasmine. 🙂😻 Thank you for sharing your journey with Disney!
I love the story. I am glad you went to Disney because it is a one-time experience. And maybe it is what you should be doing until you got your dream job.
20 minutes in and I just wanted to say your speech is 10/10. At no point did you say “umm or emm”… to fill the empty space. You just gathered your thoughts and kept talking. I know it’s totally random but very pleasant 😅
loved this video!! a dream of mine is to be a disney princess actor, either at parties or for disney! I don’t live close enough to any of the parks though unfortunately, my dream may never come true but i absolutely lovvveeed listening to yours!!
This video was so sweet and it was nice to hear your audition process. It’s refreshing to see how genuine you are, especially during the auditions, and how nervous you were and how you got through it. I would like hear some guest stories like memorable moments or wild interactions, as well as the benefits you had and process of getting ready!! 😊
Girl you are absolutely gorgeous! I used to love taking pictures with those princesses in the park lol and it remains as a core memory.... I used to think the cast members were the actual princesses in the movies, i mean... what can you expect from a 5-year-old but I swear yall look ethereal, that's why... Thank you for sharing your experience with us and it feels nostalgic thinking of those days when I could go to disneyland frequently and not deal with stupid schoolwork.... 💀
Your comment about meeting your BFF made me smile! I worked at the hotels and met my BFF the same way. I'm sure we may have crossed paths many times at the Grand Californian Bungalow grill. I would always laugh a little when Tiana would mirror check before heading to the Napa Rose because her dress was SO BIG! I'd have to wait for her because I couldn't pass to get to my location on stage until she finished!😄 Some of the off stage conversations were hilarious because they were normal everyday talks but in princess dress! Sometimes I would see four of the princesses (maybe you as well!) lined up near the door to go on stage to the Princess Breakfast. I would get a laugh out of that because it looked like a police line up of Disney royalty!😂👸🏰🌠
OMG! Did you play Meg during sweethearts nite back in 2023? Because if so, I took a picture with you! You were so lovely to interact with. And I remember feeling bad for the cast member playing hercules because I could tell he was really cold in his costume and he was trying to cover himself as much as he could with his short cape. I hope he didn't get a cold or anything after.
Hi Ally, thanks for the informative video. So fantastic you didn't give in to insecurities, and had this wonderful experience. My questions: 1. How many hours is a shift? 2. How do you keep high level of energy on the last hour of your work day? Do they teach you that in training? 3. Is it true you can never say "I don't know" to a question? 4. How do you answer a question like "are you really Aurora"? 5. Do you get in training a folder with dozens of questions and answers to study during training? Thank you! ❤
Stumbled upon this as a former Security cast member. I have an eerily similar experience. I got hired in Vegas for a new security job on the strip and got furloughed/called back. Had I kept my previous full time casino job I would have worked the entire shutdown because I was classified as full time security. I chased the money. And now I regret it. Making the right choice especially when it comes to Disney is always the right choice!
Can you do an examples of questions you were asked by guests and your answers of course. What time did you start/leave? Did you wear heels all day as Aurora if so how high were they and were they uncomfortable?
fellow ex-cast member here in the same department, you're beautiful and your story reminds me of those initial feels when I first started and had my "put in" day. great story!
Hi! I'm new here! I have Autism and ADHD and Disney Princesses are actually one of my special interests! I think it's SO cool that you got to play Aurora! She's one of my favourites, as well as Belle, (because I'm a bookworm hehe) and Merida (Because some of my family is Scottish) :)
Awe, I love this especially all the different characters! 😍 I would like to see photos of all of them and I could picture you very well as Elsa 💖 thank you for this video 💖
Hey Ally! You are so sweet! I loved this video. Would love to learn more about the hierarchy at Disney in terms of who gets to perform in parades and shows. Would also love to hear your roommate’s experience! ❤
Would love it if you could share any thing useful you saw parents do to help their shy child during interactions with you or other characters!! I'm sure you saw a lot of different tactics
Please do a video about the wig process. I want to know how you got the wig on, if the tiara was sewed into the wig or if it was an extra piece. Was the wig heavy or itchy? Did the wig feel light, like you would go out to do a meet and greet and you would think you didn't have it on? Did they give you special glue so the wig would stay on? Did your head hurt from having the hair up all the time? Where were your dressing rooms?
I haven't watched the Q&A video yet, but I'm curious about the beautiful promo photos! Does every character cast member have promo images shot, or do they only do them as needed for marketing with the current staff?
It is such a joy to hear someone talking about their Disney princess experience in such a positive light. It has always been my dream to be a Disney princess, and it makes me so sad to hear when people have negative Disney cast member experiences. Thank you so much for giving this insight and inspiring me to reach for my Disney princess dreams again!💖
The “easiest job”??? 😆 I could never. I can’t think of anything harder! Beeeing a princess? And talking to strangers? I knew you were suited for it from your looks and your way of expressing yourself. But when you said that, wow you’re literally perfect for the job.
Enjoyed hearing about your journey and glad you didn’t get sucked in as so many easily do. You could easily have done contracts for HKDL, TDL. DCL, etc. Instead you were able to walk away with some amazing memories.
Please do tell us more. 🩷 Did you ever have a Prince Philip to interact with? What's the quality of the dress and wig like? I have heard that the "Pocahontas" wig is the best quality...but Aurora and Ariel's wigs also look great. Did you get to do the Parades? What's the best and worst thing a kid (or Adult) guest said to you during an interaction? I hope it was all good. Tell us about your tipical day as a Disney Princess.😊
its so nice to hear ur perspective!! ive wanted to audition for disney but been wary since im not super proficient in acting or dancing lol. its reassuring to hear you talk abt imposter syndrome and ur also soo funny :D
Subscriber from England 🏴. I’d love some story times. I’m going to Disney world in Easter and I’m not sure how awkward I’ll be around characters but I really want to let my inner child take over and not get in my head too much. Especially with non talking characters. Any advice? ❤
I’m gonna be so fr I think you and I were both in the waiting room at Team Disney in the blue building January 2020😂. I was only there from January 2020- March 2020 though!
Based on the title I kept avoiding this video. Why is the algorithm suggesting something negative from a channel I don't know? I'm glad I gave it a shot. You are so positive and engaging. Great story. ❤
I m the opposite I don’t follow Disney stuff, but I follow tea and drama channels…and I was like ?.? Who is this and what is Disney TEAAA?😂. SHE IS SO SWEET 💕
Honestly, I'd like to say that it's an accomplishment, that the park can find ladies who can walk around all summer in such long and sometimes heavy gowns. I mean, no offense or anything, but I kind of wish companies (especially Disney), would allow the actresses playing the princesses more variety. Like let them wear their character's commoner dresses. Not only do the outfits feel more comfortable for the weather, but I think kids would probably buy into listening to people like Belle or Cinderella more when they tell them stories in that, than in a ball gown. I remember back when my school allowed for the kindergarten class to pick a Disney princess to visit their school, this one time, saw the class picking Belle. However, instead of coming in her yellow ball gown, she came in her village blue dress. The actress playing her, looked far more engaged with the kindergartners, as well as being able to play with them outside, while looking like she was reading. But to be fair, that feels like something that the actual Disney version of Belle would probably do. But hey, maybe I don't know better. I'm not the one running the park.
So interesting to hear about. My daughter is 14 and wants to be a Weeki Wachee Mermaid when she graduates high school. Maybe by then she will want to leave the nest and go work at Disney who knows. Id love to hear about working at Disneyland because there are so many Disney World videos about housing and college program etc. But not much info about Disneyland. Do they even have housing in California? Did you ever consider going overseas to work in a Disney park?
Thanks for sharing and I have to say I AM IN LOVE WITH YOU MORE, lol. Had me at Star Wars. HUGE HUGE Star Wars fan. And hopefully I did meet you, because at that time is when I had my annual pass. 2021-2022 so hopefully I did meet you as Wasp and Aura. As Wasp if you ever saw a guy carrying around the Infinity Gauntlet, that was me and as Aura, single guy in his 40s no kids, thats me, (hides in shame) Thanks so much for all the insights. I do to have high anxiety and depression but when I'm at Disney it all goes away. I'm completely different. My dream job is actually to work on Batuu. Thank you love to hear more and yes have some questions as well.
Randomly came across this video, and love your story! Hopefully by now your perspective has changed but wanted to let you know you are beautiful! I can definitely see why they casted you. You might have felt imposter syndrome but at the end of they day you were chosen 😊
They still do cattle calls, actually. I don't know about Disney World, but I went to one of one for Tokyo in the summer. I thought it was going to be dance first but it ended up being a massive type out. They didn't even walk down the line or really give us any instructions, we just stood in lines of 20 and they looked at us all at once. If Disney World does not do typouts anymore except for online, then Tokyo is the only park to still be doing them
Do you think people could work permament jobs at Disneyland while supporting themselves? How did you and Hercules bear the winter chill in your costumes, especially while talking to guests? Did you get to keep any costume jewellery for souvenirs when you left this job? Personally, I would loved Aurora's necklace!
12:45 What was happening in February 2020 for me (even though of course ur hinting at the pandemic of course) but I was moving and my car was stolen February 11, 2020 with all my stuff in it. ALL my stuff. So if you can picture that and realizing how the world basically was like ending social service wise then it was hard to make money or get food stamps or anything. I lost everything and basically homeless and just HOPED my insurance would help me at least get a new car. Anyways it was very hard and its an experienced ill never forget. I'm finally back on my feet and doing better but wow what a time to lose all your stuff. I like ur Disney story though. Awesome 👌
I hope to go to Disneyland one day but I’m glad to see this video! As a person that has social anxiety half of the time, you’re really brave acting as another character.
I have so many questions but I’ll try to limit them to one topic for now, lol. What are the “rules” to staying within character or keeping things true to the character you’re playing’s story? Do they give a general script of things you can and can’t say? Are you forced to consume all their new content to stay up to date and not be blindsided with the mention of a new character’s name? Can you reference other stories/movies on your own? For example, I recently saw a video of the Evil Queen interacting with Lady Tremaine and they were talking about walking down a road and I swear they were referring to Agatha All Along.
Character Integrity always applies, even online. Didn’t you mean to say that you were friends with a specific Princess? I do remember those days in March 2020 as well. I was set to come in and do some testing for a new Tokyo spectacle and got the call. Everything was off! We ended up changing the show many times but as soon as Japan opened back up, we were there.
UGH! I remember the day before March 13! I was working at Fantasia in the Disneyland Hotel. It gave me chills because I was the only person there in a spot that would normally be the busiest place there! The pictures I took then still give me the creeps!🥺
My friend he works at Disney now he like helps with the fire works and all that but I can’t wait to go to Disney again and see him because it’s been awhile too and your so pretty though you actually do look like a real princess to me 🩷 can you do look like Aurora to me also
Getting a call to say you’re being switched to the princess who literally got the gift of being the most beautiful girl in the realm is such a compliment ahhh 😍
Well, that depends on which princess. If it was Belle, in the Spring time but it's in her village blue dress, that would be fun. It's 103 degrees and my gloves are full of sweat!".
Please do a video giving examples of answering difficult questions from children while staying in character!
yes this is really what I wanna see!!
She can barely string a sentence together
You look like if Aurora walked out of the movie. Makes so much sense why you two were friends!
"I never saw myself as pretty" literally one of the prettiest girls I've ever seen 😭
I love hearing other performers experiences. Thank you for sharing!
I'm 99% positive that my gal and I met you both as Aurora and Wasp. We're both just a couple of big kids at heart and the way you portrayed both characters in different times really made our visits feel special. Thank you for that.
Exactly! She's gorgeous and just like Princess Aurora!
I'd love to see you demonstrate how you did your makeup as Aurora!
Girl, I don't know you and haven't watched your videos before or anything but please continue to make videos. You're SO engaging to listen to and entertaining, just the way you joke around and say things. It's hilarious. I could see you popping off!

This was cool. Based on the timeline, and if you were the only Aurora princess there, then my daughter definitely met you. And she loved it.

As a former show and ride ops CM, loved hearing you sharing your experience. Also, there's a Uzumaki manga lowkey creeping in your background 👀
I love the story. I am glad you went to Disney because it is a one-time experience. And maybe it is what you should be doing until you got your dream job.

New subscriber here! 😁 Yes, please do a part 2!
I could definitely see you being Annas sister you have her energy
I think you’re the sleeping beauty my girls met!
How cute!!❤❤
love this!! i'm 28 now but still dream of working at disney even if not as a princess haha maybe one day!

“Thank god I’m back in the club” Princess Aurora 👑👗😴
0:33 I don't like much of any Disney merch either but I can DEFINITELY see the appeal of that cup!
Can you do an examples of questions you were asked by guests and your answers of course. What time did you start/leave?

It's like fun to be a Disney princess. I like to be one too😁.
I always wished I had tried when I was younger- I’m so glad you were so brave!
Princess Aurora is my favorite Disney Princess
Your so pretty I love your eyes and your face features! I just subscribed please do more ❤

🙏💚🌻 Thank you for creating this video and starting your channel. I subscribed because I used to work along side the Princesses at WDW
I think Aroura looked more attractive in her peasant girl dress than in the royal gown (which was always changing color).
its so nice to hear ur perspective!! ive wanted to audition for disney but been wary since im not super proficient in acting or dancing lol. its reassuring to hear you talk abt imposter syndrome and ur also soo funny :D

Wow you must be really tall to do Meg! Plus to deal with that wig is impressive!
I think you made a great Aurora!
Please do part 2! I loved it. Can you tell how much do you get paid, how it’s the backstage and things like that? I’m so interested in that things
Thank you for sharing. Subscribed. You made a great Aurora!
Cool story. Thanks for sharing
Literally The Princess Diaries 😂
as an old close friend of the fur babies at 4'9" at D-World, i have to say you are one of the best looking Auroras I have ever seen.
So interesting to hear about. My daughter is 14 and wants to be a Weeki Wachee Mermaid when she graduates high school. Maybe by then she will want to leave the nest and go work at Disney who knows. I got laid off from world right after training too!!!! Furloughed and then laid off. I got a call back though after they reopened, too!!! Lol
Is the makeup routine proprietary or can you share?
They still do cattle calls, actually. I don't know about Disney World, but I went to one of one for Tokyo in the summer. I thought it was going to be dance first but it ended up being a massive type out. They didn't even walk down the line or really give us any instructions, we just stood in lines of 20 and they looked at us all at once. If Disney World does not do typouts anymore except for online, then Tokyo is the only park to still be doing them
I feel like we need a tutorial/explanation of how you did your makeup!
I'd love to know how many are you to do the parades and meet and greets ?
Do you like gifts of your character ?
Aurora is a favouite princess of mine 🎉😮
Do you need any acting or dancing experience to audition?
I have a question. In total, how long did you work at Disney?
Do you think people could work permament jobs at Disneyland while supporting themselves?
How did you and Hercules bear the winter chill in your costumes, especially while talking to guests?
Did you get to keep any costume jewellery for souvenirs when you left this job? Personally, I would loved Aurora's necklace!
I love this but I don’t think I would consider it spilling the tea 😅 maybe more your job interview process.

10:52 she was saying she wasnt pretty enough girl. You are super model pretty. We are our own worst critics:)
Why did you quit Disney???? I’d stay forever 😍💜
Please tell us everything about your experiences! I'd love to hear about the sweet Disney magic moments
Crazy that your final training day was March 13, 2020!
I would definitely like to know why you left. You seem so perfect in each of the costumes in the video.
That A Bugs Land thing looks incredibly delicate. Was there stress about either dropping it, or a guest somehow swiping it, etc.?
Hi working as a Disney Princess was my dream job when I was a kid do you think that’s so late am 32 now😊
my question is if you loved it so much like it seems you did, why did you quit?
My friend he works at Disney now he like helps with the fire works and all that but I can’t wait to go to Disney again and see him because it’s been awhile too and your so pretty though you actually do look like a real princess to me 🩷 can you do look like Aurora to me also
Are there tunnels under Disneyland?
Me too
Question? How to you keep from getting a wig headache, im sure you had to wear that costume all day.
I just remember dying to shower. Snott all over me. Lol😂 low pay
Life is so easy when you're incredibly attractive 😭
Well you are beautiful enough to be a princess 👸
Thank god I’m back in the club was so real 💀
