A- grade for Jordan Love is Wild. Dude qas PFF's best QB in the second half of the season after MLF opened up the playbook and got back his best RB and best receiver back in Aaron Jones and Christian Watson, in his first season starting. You're comparing him to hypotheticals and even IFFF they get one SB qith Rodgers, you potentially lose 2-3 SB's qith Love and potentially a GOAT type QB. An A- is a dumb grade. This grade should be an A+ as Love just had the best QBR and QB rating in his first playoff game ever. BOOM

The Jordan Love pick was clowned so hard for so long. I'm not even a Packers fan but I'm so happy that he played so well, just so it would prove everyone wrong
it was a big slap in the face to Aaron Rodgers, might have actually won another Super Bowl if they do take Tee, not even Belicheck would draft a QB in the first round, and he wanted to move on from Brady several times
@@KyleYoung-b2q Doesn't seem likely to me. They would have had to wait until the 62nd pick to get to their own 2nd rounder. Plus they felt like they had to trade up from 30 to secure him -- maybe they knew another team also wanted him and was worried they'd be jumped if they stayed at 30. And a lot of mocks had Love going in the 1st round anyway.
I dont think the packers would've gotten a superbowl if they obtained Tee Higgens based on the fact that everysingle playoff game was either the fault of the defense, special teams, or aaron choking on his shit again. sincerely, a packers fan
Yeah I agree Aaron was great but he had a tendency to fold in the playoffs I think Green Bay kinda knew that and knew he was getting old and they wanted to risk being in contention for the next 10+ years instead of the next 2-3 years
I think you could argue in 2020 that if he was able to gain trust in Higgins maybe we don't have to dig ourselves out of a hole in the NFCCG. Who knows how that would have gone?
You be surprised by how often the playoffs losses of the Packers were not on Rodgers and actually was on the Defense and special teams. Reminds me of Kirk Cousins right now.
Was gonna add this, a rookie tee Higgins wouldn't even get the ball anyway. Rodgers notoriously is hard on rookies. Nothing would change besides the Packers being in a bad spot right now and not set up for a good future

Totally agree with the Jordan Love grade. It’s not quite an A+ yet but if the QB you drafted throws 30 TDs in their first year starting I’d say that’s a hit. Not only that but he won a playoff game. He wasn’t a game manager either he DOMINATED Dallas
I still think an A is too high for now. They essentially sold 2020 and 2021 potential Super Bowl runs. I think they beat Tampa and the Chiefs if they get Higgins or hell even Pittman in 2020. I know I'm saying this with hindsight as when they traded up I thought they'd get Queen, but any of these people would've contributed more to a potential Super Bowl than Love did. 2021 I think they beat the Niners but that special teams unit was horrendous and it'd bite them in the ass eventually, plus overall they were just worse in 2021. Not hating on Love, he's been great and wish him all the best but I will always say it was a stupid pick, even if he turns out amazing. Always gotta try and win when you have a contender IMO.
@@iBandaPanda You’re right. Tee Higgins would’ve definitely made a difference in those games Imo. I think they definitely win that game against the niners in ‘21 as well. I also can’t blame them for taking their QB of the future tho.
As a packers fan, our issues in 2020 and 2021 all came down to defense and special teams. If we didn’t pick love, we probably would’ve picked Patrick queen or some other defensive player before tee Higgins. Packers never draft offense in the first round unless it’s a tackle or qb.

Jordon Love had half a good year after three years of basically not playing. I think we need a bigger sample size before we can crown him the next great packers QB. Although with how he threw away that playoff game when it mattered the most, he might very well be the next great packers QB.
Don’t remind me of that reagor pick. Even at the time I knew we made a horrible mistake still no idea why we drafted him even at the time everyone knew it was a huge mistake. It was another example of howie thinking he’s the smartest guy in the room

As a packers fan I need to see a few more years with Jordan. Cause he could easily have a slump this coming up season, but the year after he could have a come back season and be better then he was this year. But it I had to to grade it I would grade Jordan Love I would say a B I need to see that he can do it again or do it better.
People are saying how the raiders drafted 2 first round busts, or how the eagles messed up on drafting a bust receiver over a generational one, but no one talks about the titans using their first to draft someone who only played 4 snaps and then was out of the league
@@spidamitchell8311 At least Ryan Leaf and Jamarcus Russell aren’t that stupid to throw their career away like that. Drafted in the first round to just play in one game, wtf is he thinking
Reagor will go down as the worst pick in Eagles history not because he sucked so bad, but they passed on a future hall of famer the next pick in Jefferson.
with jordan love, everyone says that the packers should have drafted tee higgins bc then they’d have a super bowl ring, but then assuming everything plays out exactly as it did aside from the packers winning the super bowl, the packers likely would have been stuck with will levis last year, since they had aaron rodgers until the draft last year. i think that u much rather would have jordan over will, and thus my logic is drafting jordan is better than tee higgins
I remember at the time I was watching the draft and was so upset because I knew the Eagles were gonna take JJ. But then I saw they took Reagor and was like who tf is this. And even at the time the pick was bad, and now the pick is historically bad.
B- on Jordyn Brooks is absolutely batshit insane. Man came in day 1 and did Bobby Wagner's job at about 85-90% of Bobby's level until he got injured. Pete's defenses have always left the linebackers out to dry in coverage, and the complete and utter lack of any secondary for a couple years there (Jamal Adams is arguably the worst safety in the NFL) makes his pass defense look so much worse than it actually was.
Tee HIggins was NEVER on the packers board. NEVER!!! He did not test the way he would have needed to for the packers to take him first round. Please at least do your research before spreading misinformation. Also the Pack were 1 David Bahktiari away from the SB not a WR.
Packers fan here, largely agree with the grade. A- unless he repeats his last 9-10 games from last season for a full season, then A+ for sure. Buuuut, I also want to say “aren’t we grading on a curve here?” For example we can speculate, in hindsight, that if the Packers took Higgins they go to a Super Bowl. But we can also say that Jettas hasn’t helped the Vikings get any closer to a Super Bowl and if they drafted Love maybe they aren’t wondering who is going to throw the ball for the next 10+ years. Is lowering your window for Super Bowl for 2-3 years worth opening it for 10-15? I just feel like if “getting you closer to a Super Bowl” is the scale then we should be giving 80% or more picks an “F”. Love your videos btw. I only say this because I think you’ve made a channel that can handle conversation.
I am curious about how you personally view the concept of "bust" and how much weighting you put into situation, overdrafting, medical issues and other circumstances outside the player's control that can help determine their fate you might be inclined to give. Is the concept of "bust" actually unhelpful given that someone who has the reputation of being one, lets say Sam Darnold, is still going to have a solid career as a Back-up? Presumably "bust" should just be someone who doesn't last the rookie phase of their career, regardless of whether they are still with the same team that drafted them and they don't have a really good reason why not. I just find it an uncomfortable idea. Maybe it is just a combination of being a girl and how I was raised, but being my inclination is always to be fair to those who didn't do well for reasons outside their control or to acknowledge reaches. I think I'd rather go with something like this: * Elite * Reliable Starter (anyone graded B) * Overdrafted - average or below average player who would have been fine taken on Day 2 or Day 3 but will still fulfill a squad role (anyone you grade in the C or D tier) * Reliable Back-up - someone whose role is to support others and is really good at that job and in whose hands you aren't scared to trust your team if you have to (Tyrod Taylor) * Unreliable Starter with Caveat - a player who had potential but ended up in a situation that destroyed their development and they failed as a result OR that they suffered some understandable issue we should be totally sympathetic to because they couldn't help whatever went wrong. Basically that comes down to chronic injuries, serious illness or mental health crisis that prevents someone from completing a rookie contract (the guys graded Incomplete and some guys graded F). * Practice Squad - it's still a career in football * Bust - undeniable failure due to moral torpitude (Henry Ruggs), disinclination to play, simply not being good enough (Alex Leatherwood) or some other factor the player themselves could have done something about (Jamarcus Russell). To me it really does need to be either not enough talent so you shouldn't have been there, or something you were in-control of yourself and you didn't work hard enough at to rectify.
Man, I like the grades mostly but some of your opinions/and reasoning is so wildly off. Patrick Queen was starting to excel before Roquan Got to the Ravens. It’s clear to me you weren’t paying close enough attention to him implying he won’t be able to live up to 2023 Patrick Queen. His success is his. Attributing it so heavily to the Smith arrival is kinda disrespectful. And the Aiyuk trade talk is nonsense. No one is giving a 1st round pick for Aiyuk as good as he is Tyreek Hill in his absolute prime only got the 29th pick (an incredibly late 1st rounder. Along with 2nd 2 4ths and a 6th)
Packers got their franchise qb....A-😂😂😂 shocker from a viking fan. The whole "adding higgins means superbowl" is so dumb. Rodgershad weapons...dude was mvp back to back😂. Unfortunately he shut down in the playoffs for some reason late in his career. So saying adding a rookie wr(we all saw how that went with rodgers when he had two studs in watson and doubs) means a superbowl win is so idiotic
Thank god the Chiefs didn’t take Taylor in the 2024 draft if that happened we are talking about Mahomes getting his fifth superbowl because they would have beaten the Bucs if they had Taylor
Stop drafting rbs early Recent rbs who declined after the rookie contract or into the 2nd contract Zeke Gurley Ronald jones Zeke Ajayi Cook and many others Just take a Rn round 2/3 or later
Completely disagree with the Teehigens packer superbowl take. If you know anything about Rodgers then you know he doesnt trust rookie wrs. Rodgers would have choked again in the playoffs. Love is the future
While I agree, it was pretty clear during the draft process that CEH shouldn't be a 3 down back. He was a really good gadget player, and fantastic 3rd down back. I was surprised how easy he fell because I expected him to be a mid 2nd rounder at the earliest. Chiefs tried to put a square peg in a round hole and found that it didn't fit. Most QBs should not be a part of the drafting process.

Jordon Love had half a good year after three years of basically not playing. I think we need a bigger sample size before we can crown him the next great packers QB. Although with how he threw away that playoff game when it mattered the most, he might very well be the next great packers QB.
what about queen being in Pitt makes you think he wont do as well?
Yes Indeed A+ for JJ18 14:58
I was so happy when we got love, caught hell for it but got the last laugh 😂
Don’t remind me of that reagor pick. Even at the time I knew we made a horrible mistake still no idea why we drafted him even at the time everyone knew it was a huge mistake. It was another example of howie thinking he’s the smartest guy in the room
CeeDee Lamb is truly a bonafide phenomenal player for the Cowboys without a doubt he's a special player one of a kind player who will do whatever it takes to be winning games make no mistake about it if he wins a Super Bowl Ring soon very soon I believe he'll be a Hall Of Famer soon too 1st Round 17th overall of a pick Oklahoma 2023 was one of the BEST if not the greatest year in franchise history he's broken Michael Irvin's records for Receptions and Receiving Yards so yes he deserves an A+ grade I love watching him play with so much confidences swagger and consistency as well 💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽 19:42
Jalen Reagor 🤭
F-
As a packers fan I need to see a few more years with Jordan. Cause he could easily have a slump this coming up season, but the year after he could have a come back season and be better then he was this year. But it I had to to grade it I would grade Jordan Love I would say a B I need to see that he can do it again or do it better.
Texans rebuild video when?
What time is it
I agree with most, but I do think you need an A++ for people like Jefferson. Because IMO Aiyuk deserves an A+.
Also thanks for the PTSD of reminding me Philly chose Reagor with JJettas on the board LMAO.
Lmao look at how Jonathan greenard demolishes trevor penning at 11:27
Respect the Jeff gladney spot. Was really expecting a bad grade prefaced by “no disrespect to the passed but” good shit
Dude I thought the 2020 class was gonna be the deepest of all time. Good draft class but my dumbass can’t be expecting everybody to be a star
Fair evaluations. The problem with not using a differentiator like A++, is, for example, equating Lamb with Jefferson.
Rodgers was coming off a down year for his standards and it seemed like he was slated for a big decline.
People are saying how the raiders drafted 2 first round busts, or how the eagles messed up on drafting a bust receiver over a generational one, but no one talks about the titans using their first to draft someone who only played 4 snaps and then was out of the league
One of the biggest busts
@@spidamitchell8311 At least Ryan Leaf and Jamarcus Russell aren’t that stupid to throw their career away like that. Drafted in the first round to just play in one game, wtf is he thinking
I hated the Jordyn Brooks pick when it happened. I think a B- is a bit to high for an average at best lienacker in the first round
Packers dont win a super bowl with tee higgins. We had other issues in the playoffs beyond WR. Love was the right pick.
I remember at the time I was watching the draft and was so upset because I knew the Eagles were gonna take JJ. But then I saw they took Reagor and was like who tf is this. And even at the time the pick was bad, and now the pick is historically bad.
Nah Jordan Love is a A+! I enjoy your channel and thank you for posting. Go Pack Go!
Jesus, the second half of this first round was not good. WRs are a major exception but wow!
Even if the raiders picked justin jefferson, ik they would have screwed that up🤣
JORDAN LOVE
I knew when the packers picked Jordan love the packers weren’t going to make a dope bowl with Rodgers. He has to be an a+ but it set them back years.
Respectfully disagree with almost all of this. Why did they let him walk if he’s so great?
jefferson and lamb are like 1a and 1b. no arguing these were both home runs of picks
Never underestimate the Packers' capacity to disappoint in the Playoffs
Tee HIggins was NEVER on the packers board. NEVER!!! He did not test the way he would have needed to for the packers to take him first round. Please at least do your research before spreading misinformation. Also the Pack were 1 David Bahktiari away from the SB not a WR.
Trevor Penn is going to be a solid tackle
Packers fan here, largely agree with the grade. A- unless he repeats his last 9-10 games from last season for a full season, then A+ for sure.
Buuuut, I also want to say “aren’t we grading on a curve here?”
For example we can speculate, in hindsight, that if the Packers took Higgins they go to a Super Bowl.
Don’t overthink the Love pick it’s an A+ bringing up 1 playoff game where Aaron shit the bed doesn’t change it also blocked punt
A not A+
Not A+ yet
I think I'd rather go with something like this:
* Elite
* Reliable Starter (anyone graded B)
* Overdrafted - average or below average player who would have been fine taken on Day 2 or Day 3 but will still fulfill a squad role (anyone you grade in the C or D tier)
* Reliable Back-up - someone whose role is to support others and is really good at that job and in whose hands you aren't scared to trust your team if you have to (Tyrod Taylor)
* Unreliable Starter with Caveat - a player who had potential but ended up in a situation that destroyed their development and they failed as a result OR that they suffered some understandable issue we should be totally sympathetic to because they couldn't help whatever went wrong. Basically that comes down to chronic injuries, serious illness or mental health crisis that prevents someone from completing a rookie contract (the guys graded Incomplete and some guys graded F).
* Practice Squad - it's still a career in football
* Bust - undeniable failure due to moral torpitude (Henry Ruggs), disinclination to play, simply not being good enough (Alex Leatherwood) or some other factor the player themselves could have done something about (Jamarcus Russell). To me it really does need to be either not enough talent so you shouldn't have been there, or something you were in-control of yourself and you didn't work hard enough at to rectify.
Who in your opinion is the best #88 in Dallas Cowboys history?
CD Lamb
Michael Irvin
Drew Pearson
Dez Bryant
Respect for not grading Gladney. May he rest in peace
Switch phillys first and second round picks and reagor is still a bad pick 😂🥲
very classy, props to you man
Man, I like the grades mostly but some of your opinions/and reasoning is so wildly off.
CEH hip injury vs the saints his rookie year ruined his career
I’ll never forgive myself for trading JJ the third week of his career for DJ CHARK AND KAREEM HUNT😭
Dynasty??
😂😂
@@bridgerb542 yes😭😭 we keep 4 ppl each year
@@Moistsatellite that’s rough bro 😭
Dj Chark 😂😂😂
Time stamps would help a lot
leave it to my raiders to draft the felons, busts, and everything in between SMH💀
Can't beat the raiders on Felon count
At least the 2 picks didn’t end up like that of the titans
Jordan Love legit ngl
Justin Jefferson is the reason I'm a Vikings fan
IVE BEEN SAYING THE CHIEFS SHOULD’VE DRAFTED TAYLOR OVER CEH SIXNE DRAFT DAY BRO
Thank you for your acknowledgement of Lamb being under appreciated. Speak that louder for the people on the back.
💯
Thank god the Chiefs didn’t take Taylor in the 2024 draft if that happened we are talking about Mahomes getting his fifth superbowl because they would have beaten the Bucs if they had Taylor
Raiders nations
Why did I click on this I’m an eagles fan😫😫
As an Eagles fan I HATED this pick. We could have had Jefferson. Think about that
Stop drafting rbs early
Recent rbs who declined after the rookie contract or into the 2nd contract
Zeke
Gurley
Ronald jones
Zeke
Ajayi
Cook and many others
Just take a Rn round 2/3 or later
i think your vikings bias showed a tiny bit with your Love grade but credit for not being a homer
Vikings fan or not I just don’t think having zero production for 3 years immediately equates to A+
Why not start with this instead and go 32-1 instead of 16-1, 32-17
How you say what you say about Ruiz and give him a c+ my boy was trash every year. But give Murray a C-
Don’t mention Isaiah Wilson’s name again this pick set the titans back a while
Completely disagree with the Teehigens packer superbowl take. If you know anything about Rodgers then you know he doesnt trust rookie wrs. Rodgers would have choked again in the playoffs. Love is the future
A fantasy football analysis showed warning signs of CEH sucking in his first game. He was repeatedly getting stuffed.
