They also come in three different heights.The tall ones have a zipper on the side which is also waterproof.

Wrong.If you had ever been an infantryman in the British Army ,your feet come first.Obviously you have never served.
Is the tongue attached to the insides of the Boot, i.e gussetted, so no water can seep in on the sides of the tongue?
