FYI I'm running a gigabyte x570 aorus master rev 1 on the latest bios - F36c and it's working with ECC ram. 5800x3D
Very helpful, Checked that I got exactly what I purchased! So glad I didn't use any 3rd party tools for this simple check.
This checks for ECC ram, but does not verify that it's error checking and logging, aka working. In Windows Event Viewer, you can check for "WHEA-Logger" record when it's working.
Server grade technology always above level. More stable and more powerful. I think cloud technology is the future.

Hi, when I taped "wmic MEMORYCHIP get DataWidth,TotalWidth" it gave me both 64 64 but when I taped "wmic memphysical get memoryerrorcorrection" it gave me number 3 which is none, can you explain to me if it's possible ?

What if I have both data width and total width at 72? Does my pc simply uses those 6 bits for data and not error correction?

Please do a toturial on how to build a workstation with ecc and how to shop for parts aimed at ecc workstations. Use ryzen pro? Threadripper? Xeon? I'm Looking for fast single core performance and ecc ram for CAD workstation.
TL;DR go with Ryzen 5800X, Kingston Server Premier ECC UDIMMs and motherboard that supports ECC (Asrock Taichi, Asus TUF and so on). Do your own research before buying anything. You don't have to overspend to get a great workstation performance.

Run ps as administrator and make sure when you copy paste the spaces are correct
Could you tell me how ECC helps to make "everything run faster"?
Well ecc is slower ram, but for high end applications that say load files to ram, then you work off the ram copy, if the ram copy becomes corrupt, unstable or changes over time, say leaving your computer on for a week with the files open, if the ram copy has errors the system will lag for sure. The stability ecc offers is designed to make sure your system is always running at peak effeciency. You cant always turn off. Server, people depend on servers, ecc is server grade ram, and running it in a workstation means you have server grade stability. Hopefully that makes sense for you

GDDR6X also has ECC. It also is more bandwidth per watt efficient which makes the memory that gpu has a downgrade to the cut down die 3090. They did it because GDDR6X isnt kosher yet.
