Hi, when I taped "wmic MEMORYCHIP get DataWidth,TotalWidth" it gave me both 64 64 but when I taped "wmic memphysical get memoryerrorcorrection" it gave me number 3 which is none, can you explain to me if it's possible ?

This checks for ECC ram, but does not verify that it's error checking and logging, aka working. In Windows Event Viewer, you can check for "WHEA-Logger" record when it's working.

doesn't windows share the memory from dram to vram, so if i have like quadro p400 with 2gb, windows will increase p400 vram to % of dram, right? right?

For that price difference you could have a spare gaming GPU sitting on the shelf waiting for a bad day and still save money.

Thanks for this vid, I've been really struggling to find (apart from people who sell pcs) anyone talking about these cards. Especially the top line RTX 6000 which is what I'm after. As you said in this video 48gb can be hit in certain workflows.Which is why I'm stuck which route to go as NVIDIA released the ADA RTX 6000 without NVLINK so you cannot poole the vram. When you're paying almost 10k for a single top tier card alone you'd expect them to have bigger vram capacity or at least have the ability to poole. Most software I use only makes use of the smallest vram of the system/network gpus hence why it's best to keep the cards identical. You'd think in 2023 we'd have cards above 48gb as that's been the top tier option in the WS cards for over 5 years. Would be good to know your thoughts on the A6000 vs the 6000 (ada)?

For Cinema 4D + Redshift is heavy in the GPU. So these factors matter. The question is what software are you using?

If you work with 3D graphics and renderings, you should definitely go with gaming GPU. These "work station" ones are always sub par and weaker while costing 2-3 times more. I would say they only work for those people working with video editing. Just look at Blender benchmarks for these. All of these A series cards are much much weaker. Just make sure you get 12-16GB gaming cards though, since VRAM is still much needed for renderings.

What is fps a6000 versus rtx3080 or 4090? I betting allot due to crippling the open GL non quadro.

Can you comment on OpenGL pipelines how they are crippled on non Quadro? Hence why swx sucks for Geforce cards it used to be x5 better performance.

solidworks, nsx, rhino , alias, Catia use Open GL .3dsmax blender Maya UE use Direct x. OpenGL is crippled in non Quadro cards. Even though they pretty much the same. It's all BS. Back in the day could soft or hard mod and get those open gl pipelines running x5 performance in specviewperf test and solidworks.

How do you tell ms teams to only look at one zone on your screen though? it only lets me do by app or one screen. So i would constantly be having to change the app in screen share
