    Hi Adam,
    just went from 3990X to i9 12900KF and have to say, Intel is much faster. Much more responsive. This is my experience with those two CPUs in SolidWorks and in plug-in CNC programming software SolidCam.

      3990 is great for multithread, i9 12900kf is better in single

    AMD radeon pro, firepro for engineering work will much much better n fastest..... I like it.

      Yes! Firepro is gone now tho... just the radeon pro designation :) but yes I still catch myself saying fire pro too haha

      if can more improvement for einscan 3d scanner HD pro or above will much much more better n better.....
