- Solo Overnight Camping in the Woods with some military surplus gear. Unlike usual this time, I tried to go camping without bringing a tent or a tarp. As you can see, this time I brought a poncho. Dinner is an incredibly tasty salmon with broccoli on GI pocket stove!

Roxy made me laugh jumping onto ur back. I needed the laugh so much. Besides praying these videos help me n a very hard time. August 1 will b the anniversary of my only child’s death. He was killed when he was 8 years old. This loss has devastated my life so videos like urs give me a few breaks this grieving mother craves. Thank u !

Did you say you live in the Southwest? What natural predators do you have to deal with? I live in NH..went to go camping in the White Mountains…came across a Park Ranger who told me to watch out because there has been a black bear who likes to stand up and smack the tops of peoples tents. And with that there was a big “oh hell no” sputtered and spent the night in a hotel lol! Saved me from shaking a can of coins for noise and screaming in the middle of the night 😂
😂 that's crazy! Yes, the southwest. I have come a cross black bears, javelina, raccoons. They more often keep their distance. Never had a wild encounter.
