The show can even include a pre game show or post game show including David Ortiz, Alex Rodriguez, Pedro Martinez, frank thomas, Ernie Johnson, Jimmy Rollins, etc. (TBS and fox crew) mimicking inside the nba
To say the graphics are beautiful is not accurate. It’s dated, the player/uniform models are definitely dated. Game is back no doubt but there is still the same tearing on the uniform undershirts , same 2d old backgrounds. Time to upgrade

The pitch clock AND pickoff rule IS missing, the companion app wasn’t out for iPhone for a week post release (and seems subpar) RTTS is largely untouched as well as long-standing legacy issues. Solid game but there’s falsehoods in this review.

Definitely an improvement over 22 but id still like them to overhaul Road To The Show again one of these years. All the story beats and choices are the exact same from year to year
Trust me you would have a blast regardless. You can just make the rules all super arcade style and swing away without having to learn all the rules and stuff

After being out for 3 months and the main programs being identical, tedious grinds for Team Affinity, this game has lost its luster and gone from the best sports game franchise to the one many people quit playing by the All Star Break. Rewards in Conquest Maps along with packs containing 3 and sometimes 4 free agents, SDS has gotten lazy, complacent and literally become EA Sports. 2 out of 5 at best. Lastly, being penalized 8 out of 10 perfect/perfects makes the game beyond frustrating. Not a fun gaming experience at all anymore.

Ohtani is a huge draw there, but just a few months ago the soccer national team got 42% household tv rating for a group stage match against Costa Rica in the world cup, which is in line with their ratings for this past WBC (48%). that's comparing a tournament where Japan aren't even considered a dark horse (WC) to one where they were the favorites with a generational, handsome superstar (WBC). the domestic leagues are well below these figures, and baseball comes ahead as well (9 vs 13% or so) though not by a "wide margin."
The colors on the field, and the overall graphical presentation is so drab and dull looking, not vivid at all. Not sure why they decided to go that unfortunate route:/

Is literally almost impossible to get a hit and when you do it’s a pop up simulator like many others have said on other reviews, the mechanics feel horrible in the first week.

After a couple of years of underwhelming games, SDS really nailed this one. The NBL was a great addition and kept me interested throughout the whole storyline.
My favorite is base running 😂 when you drive it into the out field have your lead runner from second go for it holds at third waits for the ball to get to the infield then runs for home 🤬 me Everytime 🎉

The commentators repeat constantly. The practice mode is exactly the same as last year. It's improved for sure, stop overselling it.
