I'm really curious to know what they're cooking up with the Pyro Traveler since this is the first time you have to complete World Quests to get Ascension Materials which shows that they REALLY want you to play these quests.
From my understanding of age count, each age was ongoing, end ends in a descender. This world quest seems to tell a story from the second age. The age of mortal men. After the Primordial one stole the world from Nibelung and remade it for man, but before the war over the elements. Specifically, it tells a tale of a mortal man and a dragon, laying the fire sovereign low, and creating the insitution of the Pyro Archon, before Celestia stole the elemental authorities from the dragon sovereigns at the end of the second age, to pass on to gods who would become archons in the fourth age following the archon war. If this interpretation is correct, it would mean Natlan has had mortal pyro archons since truly ancient times. This also implies celestia has had much less influence in the region.
@@shadeblackwolf1508 Yeah that could be a case now that I think of it, altho the mural kinda depict Xiuhcoatl to have killed a Shining Shade (unless this dragon is someone else like Nibelung since there are some design differences, who knows)
@@Nekogitsune i think the dragon they slay in the depiction was the pyro dragon sovereign, which would firmly place this in the second age. Not sure who the dragon was victorious over though.
@@Richinnameonly thats fair, its the very first time we saw scaramouche and learn more abt the fake skies if teyvat. altho compared to what we got from enkanomiya, unreconciled stars event was still on the surface level if that make sense. ofc it has become the main talking point right now but back then was kinda like that one stairs meme where you skip most of the things before you can understand why the sky was fake in the first place before we knew more abt what happened in teyvat or who is celestia 💀
@@KethusNadroev Basically he defeated the sovereign after the sage of the stolen flame taught the first Pyro Archon how to use phlogiston, altho thats kinda mb for not explaining that directly in the video 💀 the game dont exactly explain the literal 'how' and what happened specifically other than he pierced xiuhcoatl's eyes but overall he did use phlogiston to defeat Xiuhcoatl from my understanding.
You have already met Xbalanque. Xbalanque is Mavuika. Did you not catch the bit in the archon quest where she say she is the first archon? Xbalanque is the first archon. There cant be two first archon.
She didn't say she was the first Archon. She said she was the same Archon from 500 years in the past, which would've been the time of the cataclysm and fall of Khaenri'ah. Xbalanque is the first Archon, the one who defeated a dragon and established the system and rules of Natlan.
