I am constantly amazed with the cooperative nature of draft horses. As an ex-farrier, I can’t imagine tying up a foot of a thoroughbred or even a quarterhorse.
It does NOT always go so smooth !
Lovely horses and work, as always!
I am so happy to see these large stalls for these beautiful animals. There is a channel on youtube where a guy works draft horses and chains them to a wall when they aren't working, even at night. These are large heavy horses, and never to allow them to lay down and get off their feet is cruel. I can't watch his videos knowing that. I get sick even thinking about it now.
amzing work respect
Thank you for sharing 🐴
Awesome job
Why keep the horse this insanely high on the heels
👍👍👍👍👍
The heels are still much too long even after trimming...
Sadly, not all farriers are good at their job.
Do they experience any pain when they go through this?
Doesn't look like it
Seems like a relaxing session at the spa
With healing vibration / frequencies 😊😊
Their hooves are like our fingernails, it doesn't hurt at all to cut them unless you cut into the quick. Same as with us.
