Well, a challenge for you, in particular since I am in the school that says that rotation anchors on the pulling arm. Try finishing your pull with your palm flat against your side rather than that wrist flip down to the bottom of the pool. Note, this saves you from having to rotate your palm for a clean hand exit on your recover. What difference will that make? Also, track your stroke count. A 50 yard lap won't make much difference, but a 200 should. There is no comparable hand motion for freestyle, and any coach would correct it if you tried to do it differently..
