Sure maybe the 747-8i Passenger version will go soon in 10-15yrs but not the cargo version, it’s still so widely used and newest one just came out at the start of this year. So the cargo B747 isn’t going anywhere anytime soon, but the same cannot be said about the A380.
So sad that it's demise came too soon, all because of it's huge cost and less demand. May not ever have the pleasure in travelling on one but in it's time,it served well...RIP A380 & hope we will see you one day when the passenger demand rises.
Which planes are you referring to? They’re all pretty unique except maybe the 787 and a350 or the a330 and 767. They’re competition to each other though, so similarities are bound to occur. The 737 is entirely unique, as is the a320 and a321 (its competitors). The 757 has no other equivalents, as does the 747 (even though the a380 later came to take over the luxury long-distance niche the 747 had on commercial aviation). The 777 and the a340 compete with each other, but they’re unique and the 777 does a much better job at it then the a340.
I was never a big Airbus supporter but this aircraft will always hold a place in my hard! It is hard to see these beautiful aircraft go! May there legacy last forever! 🥲

This reason for this is because of failure, it was supposed to be efficient for every big airlines but it turned out to be inefficient, which causes the airlines to abandon and retire them, and in 2021, they've announced that they made last delivery before they stop making one again

As a person who flew in the a380, It was crazy good for its time, The economy is better than others, The business is amazing and the first class was just pure joy. Glad that emirates still runs it
What fills me with pride is that the a380 ended its service without any accident, only the incident of the Qantas flight, without a doubt the a380 will go down in history and will never be forgotten.
A380 could have been such a succesful plane. Those 4 engines caused its downfall. Maybe if airbus used 2 powerful engines instead of 4 engines and made the plane a bit smaller, it could have been enough to save the king of the skies.
i visited the factory where those were produced recently. They use those halls for A320 series and A350 xwb now. they have a section of the tail on display there and gawd damn is it huge. Airbuswerke Hamburg Finkenwerder. would really recommend any of you go visit, it was awesome
