balls!
@@BellularGaming There is just something about Bellular being sponsored by @Manscaped that makes me laugh my ass off. BALLS
U DO ANYTHING TO MAKE BLIZZARD LOOK GOOD BECAUSE U BEING PAID BY THEM TO GIVE THEM POSITIVE NEWS AND SO GOD DAMN SICK THAT U HAVE NO PROBLEMS BOBBY IS STILL THERE AND WHO ALLOW ALL THE MALES EMPLOYEES HARASS A WOMEN EMPLOYEE TO HER DEATH AND THEY STILL WERE MAKING FUN OF HER THAT THEY KILL HER AFTER SHE TOOK HER LIFE AND YET U OKAY AND SUPPORT BLIZZARD ESPECIALLY WHEN BOBBY IS STILL THERE
@@BellularGaming man, I though I search "Balls" here in the comments. But you wrote it by yourfelf :( :D
After the success of these quests, I hope Writers understand that we don't have to explore other dimensions, timelines or afterlives to have fun. Discovering new aspects of culture different races or adventure with long-forgotten characters is something I love wow quests for.
Exactly!!! So damn tired of dull cosmic SF sh.t.
Agreed
I like both yeah I'll take both
@@tired5438 both what? Really hope you're not supporting the lore with space ships, creators of the universe and the big bang explained. I still have faith in wow players. Dont disapoint me
@@octaviangeorge5455 I go for balance in all things, abit of both makes it enjoyable for me
The titans lore is intresting to me, and so was Jaina's story in BFA
I really liked the human quest, If you are a Human Rogue with the Shadowblade tittle (legion class quest) at the start Shaw and Vanessa will recognize it, Vanessa even saying "Long time no see boss" or something like that after she arrives and stuns you, I liked that part.
I also had the option to show my uncrowned insignia. Not sure if others had this option but I did have it in my bags.
I did the orc heritage armor quest, and WOW. The offering bringing back to spirits of the iconic orcs surprised me. Seeing ALLLL the orcs in the gathering really touched my hear how great this quest was.
I did the human heritage questline and it was most def a good experience. The voice acting was top tier and the look of the armor set in game is far better than the renders we saw on wowhead.
How did you get Stormwind reputation ? I want to do heitage questline, but is difficult to get that rep :((
@@Cristian-su9ns Get Stormwind tabard and spam dungeons via dungeon finder
@@Cristian-su9ns Buy a Stormwind tabard from a vendor near the front entrance of Stormwind and equip it, then run 'The Botanica' dungeon in the Netherstorm Zone from TBC. You can run it over and over again until you hit Exalted.
@@Cristian-su9ns Quest in Elwynn, Westfall, Redridge Mountains, and Duskwood. An alternative to this is finding the Stormwind Rep quartermaster in Stormwind and just wear a stormwind tabard while doing dungeons.
@@Cristian-su9ns I would suggest buying the stormwind tabard and then run the dungeon "Magister's Terrace" again and again until Exalted.
The best part of the Human questline is that if you played the original Onyxia questline, the cutscene & others references will INCLUDE YOUR CHARACTER.
That made the Human Heritage questline truly amazing for me as an old player ❤
Had no idea. That's pretty sweet!
@@NemisisRecords Shaw says during the throwback cutscene « But you know that… you were there » God I teared up
It seems to follow the Chronicle version of the story, where Marshal Windsor and adventurers were the ones who uncovered Onyxia, where as Varian and Windsor did it in the comic. Both the game and the Chronicle are a bit inconsistent about what elements of the comic were canon and what weren't. Still, I like how the dwarf mentions Varian's role as another "version" of the story.
It felt so, so good to be noticed for that. It really, really brought me back to some beautiful memories.
That same paladin was the one who did it, so it was really special.
sadly my original account was shutdown on me in early Cata, by my dickhead brother. so while i originally did this back in Vanilla, i was screwed over. lesson learned, do not share your account, even with loved ones, they will fuck you over if you let them.
The writing in this expansion is my favorite in the entire game. Theres this quest, I'm not sure if its horde only or not, in the waking shore inside one of the red dragon buildings near dragonscale expedition base and the red egg tending tower. inside is a younger green orc and an older maghar orc. the green orc asks you to hold their axes so he can assist the old maghard, who insisted on coming here even though he was dying, to go get some medicine to reduce his pain. its literally like a 3-5 minute quest where you take him to a dragon mender, get some herbs, give them to the mender to make some medicine, and give to to the orc, who admits he was in dragonmaw and doesn't want the dragons to know, but he wanted to see that there were dragon whelpings out there in the world living free full lives and regrets all the terrible things he did under his clans command when he was younger. the green orc tries to convince him that hes made up for it by standing against zaela, garrosh, and sylvanas, but he doesn't agree. The writing in it is so good. Made me tear up, and its not even voice acted.
That is for alliance also. I liked that quest also. :)
I mean, considering that the humans we play as are specifically Stormwind humans, it makes sense we wouldn't really get much of anything from the other kingdoms. Hell, Kul Tirans and Gilneans already have their own quests, and I imagine the undead will get one soon enough, especially with a Menethil leading them
I sure hope so. the Forsaken have gone through a lot of sh__ and subfactions among them too.
The main difference between the two is in scope. The orc questline was more racial whereas the human o e was actually Stormwind's heritage. Thats not bad if we're looking at it as bits of nostalgia calling back to classic game plot and lore. I really loved running around old zones as if they were real places.
It had very little of Stormwind's heritage though. It was really just a defias storyline. It would have been cool to see Stormwind's actual heritage with Anduin Lothar and the reunion of the Sons of Lothar that we somehow still haven't gotten in game after so many years.
Definitely one of the best aspects of DF is their realization that WoW can't survive in a modern gaming environment on its "cool" factor and mechanical polish anymore. They're making investments in an emotional core to the world that's worth caring about.
as well as trying to better the game fundamentally, by fixing and replacing outdated systems. they are utilizing their staff and showing that they want our continued support in the coming years.
I thought these heritage stories were just a short gimmick but they seem to be actual side-plot story quests :O that's actually pretty cool
Probably one of my favorite heritage questlines was the Orcs. So much love was put into these. Same goes for the armor. Absolutely stunned and happy STILL. I wish they were repeatable, honestly.
The human heritage quest was awesome! I haven't read any quest text in a long time, but I read it all for this quest chain.
What I really liked wa tthat there are still orcs that did not regret siddding with Garrosh, I think shoki she was called? It adds a bit of flavor to the whole multifaceted aspects of the orcs
The Orc heritage armor questline is what Shadowlands should have been. No cosmic 4D-chess nonsense, just fanservice and hanging out with your favorite dead characters.
makes me happy they are returning to the OG warcraft areas, they can keep all the cosmic, afterlife stuff..i just want more Duskwood and Westfall
Nothing I appreciate more than my favorite warcraft reporter caring so much about the health of my balls
My only criticism of the Orc heritage questline is that I don’t know why the Mag’har from AU Draenor weren’t there.
Probably because they haven't been part of the main universe orc history. The maghar have brought all their clans together on Draenor. Which is what the MU orcs have done now.
because in the OG Warcraft the Mag'har never left Draenor, you see them in Outland at Hellfire Peninsula.
Thank you for mentioning the bread crumbs clues the Human Heritage Armor quest drops for what may have happened to Anduin. I thought other WoW content creators and speculators would have commented on it by now, but nothing that I've seen or heard.
The Orc Heritage quest was really fun and really well done. Especially with the lore and history.
Plot hole to the Drakefire Amulet story line; I still have mine in the bank from way back before we even knew about expansions. When they told me it had been stolen, I went and put it on. "Look guys, it's right here!"
It also appeared to have alternate dialogue available to me for having completed the original quest. Curious if that was available for those who never got to do the Drakefire questline, and will we get to see Windsor's statue at some point because of those extra options?
I'd love to see them retroactively go back and add options to some of the older Heritage armors the way human and orc got...Especially to Worgen. I love Worgen but I wasn't a fan of their heritage armor :/
they might at some point, remaster the heritage sets. then again they might not, Humans and Orcs may very well be a simple one time affair because they are the bread and butter of Warcraft, they deserved special treatment.
If you are a Death Knight during this quest, Nazgrim recognizes you as his Deathlord.
Also during the Orc Heritage quest, the entire time they say how we are the best of the best, what Thralls son should strive to be as an Orc.
Yeah umm.. I'm a Death Knight.. I'm literally Undead.. I feel that I am not the best example for Thralls son lmao
It's just, kid be like that dead guy. Worked out well for him. Oh but the guy that brought him back to life, he doesn't exist anymore so we might not actually be able to bring you back like him so.. Minor details don't worry about it.
Well, the way i see it, is even though you're undead and have cannonically done bad things, the death knights have also done very good things for both factions. I think it's moreso important to read it as them highlighting the good things you've done.
@@Frostingale Very true & well said.
@@Frostingale precisely, Death Knights took up arms to help us stop Arthas as well as help save Azeroth from the Legion, what happened beyond our control is ultimately forgotten/forgiven.
Dude cmon, why would they call it a darkfire amulet for a dragon raid. Its called DRAKEfire Amulet.
It's the "hairy holes" comment for me 😂. It's really smart to make your advertisements funny. I was dying laughing 😅
These quests were amazing, the fact they added Broxigar was even better. Probably my favorite Orc. Then the Human one was just as good.
I look forward to the BC races' heritage quests. The Sin'dorei grappling with their mana addiction and/or Sunwell replenishment, and the Draenei with the Eredar origins...and/or concerns with the old orcs, sindorei, and new orcs/maghar/iron horde.
the blood elves already have heritage armor, but I haven't done it yet. The only old races to not have heritage armor that I can think of are Draenei, darkspear trolls, night elves, undead, and pandaren.
Having just leveled an orc and maining a human, i did these quests and i have to agree. We need more quests like these
"please don't skip these quests that are only available to a fraction of the player base" um I don't think I have a choice but to skip them Bell, thanks for the suggestion tho.
I've done only the human one (still have to get Exalted with Orgrimmar after the reset all those years ago...) and, man, I've enjoyed it quite a bit ^^
thankfully not hard to do, just need a 70 with decent gear.
"Have to be exalted" = "epic fail".
Did both of these yesterday. They start out tedious but end on a high note.
it's good to see saurfang soul is safe, not falling to jailer hands like garrosh did....
Give us the Night elf Heritage armor, ITS ALREADY IN THE GAME!! NPC's have been wearing it for couple years now in certain situations. the last time we see it is in the bronze dragonflight race through time quest.
I think the human questline was fine. bit of spycraft, bit of misdirection, only to reveal the bbeg, and then you learn the BBEG was under the influence of an old enemy. Having to use our Racial like we did, that kind of game play was actually amazing.
Now i want the Night Elf stuff.
I had tears when I saw Nazgrel and Orgrim.
Stay a While in dragonflight is one of the best quests I’ve seen in a long long time, and all you do is sit there and listen to an old man’s stories. Didn’t think a quest could make me shed a tear
The fact that Durak is an adult or teen now is really cool
These heritage quests are cool but I hope they dont just ignore them during the future of writing for the game as well. (Like it seems they have for all the previous heritage armor quests)
These two quests were pretty good, hopefully they do these for all the races. They could also do this for special race mounts just like they did in legion for classes, or even for badass weapons too.
Bellular undersells the importance of the Onyxia reveal for those of us that were there, all those years ago and the sacrifice Reginald Windsor made still sticks with you.
I'm surprised a pile of garoshs smoldering ashes didn't show up
Do these quests! But i'm also going to spoil everything about them!
"Other four hair holes"
I had to count on my fingers there.
pitty the wargens cant wear the humans armor, would be awesome instead of the turd of a set they got lol, its also nice seeing actual effert put back into the game, it seemed legion was the last expansion that the devs actually put some effort into
We need more quest lines and pacs where our character is not “THE ULTIMATE HERO”
I hope they finally understand that we dont need to expand the lore vertically, but horizontally. I want to pick up on old questlines, i want to visit the world. Instead of going to the new REALM TM we can go to a corresponding place within Azeroth. I want Azeroth to be alive, to be breathing. It's the core of everything
The human quest was fun, haven't done the orc one, but I hope the quest writers remember (or are told) this is WARcraft and get back to quests that dont involve matchmaking or saving puppies. They weren't badly designed its just they have nothing to with war and battle.
Baine Questline: Done
Winterpelt Rep: Done
Human Heritage: Acquired!
Orc Heritage: In Progress
i am enjoying 10.0.7 very much, i am just working on getting more toons to 70 and preparing for S2 of Dragonflight, which with the new gearing system i feel it's gonna be a banger.
The Alliance one is garbage. Like...what are you even talking about?! All I remember from it is that Vanessa VanCleef got pants now because it's "current year" and exposed thighs are a no-no in California, and that I had to kill Onyxia for the 10th time.
Is there a limit on your Blizzard shilling?
I want this for the Darkspear Trolls, they get no love.
The Orc heritage Questline was great. I want more of that. 😄
Greatest quest in wow is Taivan's quest from Ohnara Plains
i did the human one and seeing vanessa again was a happy thing for me. she got people talking about the pants but to be honest i get it. she is like 30 now.
i did the heritage questline and i really enjoyed it
Human one was awesome. Orc one in this is coming from a horn player I thought was dumb. The glorious honorable orcs you get to go grocery shopping for a make dinner for The horde
Should we be looking into why Onyxia is the same colors as Shadowflame?
I enjoyed the Orc quest line, and have thought about leveling a human to do that line as well. My highest human was lvl 72 before the squish so not sure what that is now.
It's just a bummer that the other heritage quests didn't feel like they got this same level of care. They weren't all bad, but these feel next level.
Okay, scratch that, the Gnome one was bad. The story doesn't really deal with Gnome heritage at all, just with the same story they always have regarding Gnomeregan and Thermaplugg, only this time it's not Thermaplugg but an entirely new character who they act like we should have known the whole time. No interesting stuff is explored with the Storm Peaks Mechagnomes despite actually going there. The characters we work with aren't any established Gnome characters, but instead four completely new ones. And they chose to make the Gnome heritage quest happen when Mekkatorque was currently in a coma. Bummer all around.
Warcraft became The Sims in Azeroth. No more epic stuff, just going around sharing feelings. I am always happy to see these videos and never regret having left this game when it was still somehow good.
The "human" one was dissapointing. It was a nice questline by itself, but had nothing to do with human heritage.
Human heritage armor quest was a great capstone to both versions of the Westfall quests
Did blizz make Vanessa cover up?
Yes. They did it to match her Hearthstone art. And also, because not every female character needs to be a coomer bait.
@@assboishoot, I forgot we need to perpetuate ideology that it’s a women’s responsibility to dress head to toe. And it’s not incels’ shitty and gross behavior that needs correcting. /s
I want playable Mok'Nathal.
With how good this was, I have no doubt they got big plans for Night Elf and Undead heritage questlines.
I lvled a fresh human pally just so I could do these quest. I was not disappointed.
Am I the only one who thought the lamp in the topright corner was the eye of N’zoth?
Burning crusade and shattered sun lore have to be retconned out of existence for me to feel like this lore is worth coming back for
Gonna need some proof of concept that the Manscaped stuff works there Bell..
You know to do.. Buzz Buzz.. 😉
I bet my ass its Metzen's doing. Also movig dwarf storyline forward would be great. They had nothing going for them since forever.
Well, where's Reginald Winsor's statue?
From this point onward, there should always be massive amounts of narrative story content in OUR CITIES and OUR ZONES at end game. Go. Back. Home.
Completely agree with your conclusions and comments. Well done blizz and these with the other quests added in 10.0.7 (as well as all of dragon flight) is hopefully showing what WoW will be in years to come. I also hope your suspicions of a “WoW 2.0” is true - would be awesome to log in to a new expansion and see the entire world updated to Dragon Flight level graphics!
i wish they couldve given thrall's kid a unique model lol
Human heritage didn't feel like a racial heritage just a side quest in deadlines rlly. I love the armor and title tho gives me huge lothar vibes. They should have done smth reflecting on lothar since Turalyon is in charge atm.
Orc heritage quest line was gold tho. Goes through all of their history along with all the notable chars. Shame the humans didn't get that with notable chars like Varian or Lothar
Is it only for original Orc race or are Mag'har Orcs included in the quest? I'm guessing just the original Orc race.
The Orc heritage quest line was absolutely amazing. "Rise of the Horde" being one of my favorite books, they did sooo good with this lore experience. I talked to literally every Orc from old that it would let me and it was all fantastic dialogue.
Subtitles said orca lvl 50 and now we need orca playable race
Quite nice video. Well done Bel.
IDK... I find it kinda funny/ironic for a WoW video to be sponsored by "Manscape", cause judging by the WoW forums, there aint any men playing this game.
im lucky my hunter was able to do the human heritage quest, but still sad my poor main dreanai shaman hasnt gotten one yet, plus im sure the trolls and pandaren would love them too
I really like the part where at 6:54 "i'm not gonna spoil it" But spoils everything throughout the video. lol
The only thing crazier than these quests is Michael’s hair.
Feels like they're trying prepare us for a world revamp next expansion by showing glimpses of the modern timeline, which would tie in thematically with a Cataclysm Classic world revamp.
What about the other heritage quests? Are they good?
"Anti-Shadowlands"
Maldraxxi Draka is right fucking there bro...
waiting patiently for night elves heritage quest
Loved both quest lines. Even if I had to run botanica over and over with my orc to get the rep 😂
I do appreciate this video, but as lifelong tauren, I simply won't start ork or even human just for this questline
What adding is he using for quest dialog/ choices? looks good
only reason i havent done these is because you have to get exalted too
Do you know how to make a table of contents?
I think the orc quest will become a quest on the orc start area in the new world revamp. Think be abble to choose a clan on the stark of the adventure.!
Except I can't choose to champion the Burning Blade though.
I just completed the orc quest line and it was very very good
Have the Defias thought about boycotting the institutions of Stormont...I mean Stormwind... until such time as everyone else caves and gives them what they want?
are there any addons that implement text to speech for quest text? would be a great addition to immersive addon
Is anybody wondering where was Garona during the Orc quest or did I miss smth?
leveling a horde character will never be worth my time.
I'm a casual--I normally just choose quests for rep, or little side quests to help the locals. You can see why I hated Shadowlands--although I played through it. Anyway, I'm writing to point out that even the side quests are really fun, run really well, and contain a few whimsies and laughs as well as the thrill of combat. I started the game right at the beginning of BfA and have been on and off ever since. And Dragon flight is the most fun I've ever had, quest after quest too! Huzzah for Blizzard! Ya, I said it!
This is what Warcraft is. Good old fantasy with old enemies.
