Everything old is new again! My grandmother used to make a version of this baked in her woodstove when I was a child, and I turned 69 a few weeks ago. I'm sure she would have appreciated the conveniences of today. Your recipe looks super delicious! 😋
Yes, there is nothing new under the sun
You're right; it looks simply delicious!
I will make this.looksso good.
I made a few weeks ago, and it’s probably the best thing I’ve ever cooked. When I went to recreate it, I couldn’t find it. Whew, thanks so much for this delicious dish!
My grandma was from Naples. I've made homemade pasta with her, and I've made stuff like this with her. We loved both! I'm not mad at this at all. Looks delicious!
Yes..they don't like it..oh well..my family do
Good for you
Who cares if you’re mad at anything like this, your opinions don’t mean anything to anyone other than yourself… Think better!
Looks delicious.
😂
Well i tried your recipe today & it was a *HIT* with my family..
I really dont care for Lasagna.. made it once or twice *But* boy I intend to incooperate this dish in my family menu 😋
*DELICEOUS*
Thank you for sharing this recipe! It looks amazing! I will make it for my kiddos this weekend!
Bought your cookbook. Your recipes have the best effort to flavor ratio out of any recipe maker I've ever seen
This is like a quick version of lasagna..only the creaminess mixed into the spaghetti instead of layered …I love it..will be making very soon..Thank You for sharing❤
This is a great recipe that is a keeper. I added mushrooms to the meat sauce portion and used diagonally cut green onions as a topper when it was plated. Thanks!
I know I would like this. Whenever I go to one of the local Italian restaurants, I always order fettuccine Alfredo, and get a side order of meatballs with red sauce. I love the mixture of tomato sauce and Alfredo sauce!
That is a great idea. Sounds absolutely delicious! Thanks for sharing.
I love this recipe. It's so perfect for weeknight dinner.
U are right there is another dish that people did similar in the past. I made it a few times. I think I try it again after seeing you make yours.
Was craving spaghetti but this will be the one to make👌😋😋😋😋😋😋😁💯thanks
I am looking on my lunch break, looks delicious... thanks for sharing!!
It looks good
I made this version along with you, no Alfredo sauce but I made a mixture of some cream cheese sour cream Parmesan and mozzarella cheese with some dried basil and parsley mixed in, plus cheese toast from the frozen section (easier) lol, I'll set you know what I think!
I made something called Million Dollar Spaghetti once and holy cats, it was so rich I couldn't afford to window shop for it. 3 bites and I was done. In addition to ricotta, mozzarella, and Parmigiano, it had cream cheese and sour cream in it. Talk about _RICH._ My entire endocrine system is recoiling at the memory.
Reminds me of my g’ma’s “spaghetti pie”. 😋
I mix the sauces and use cut up chicken, or left over, some chopped spinach and farfalle. It’s a kid pleaser.
Looks great, thanks for sharing I'll have to try it.
Making this tonight! May I ask what kind of pan you used to fry?
oh wowwww that looks great
I’ve made this spaghetti recently and it’s delicious.
looks good to me
I made this. However, I subtracted half of the beef and cheese. Yummy
What a pretty dishware. The spaghetti is similar to spaghetti scooter recipe.
Se mira riquísima 😋creo que la voy a preparar hoy😁me encantan sus recetas señora hermosa 😔
i love it!! this is cheese heaven! 💜💜💜💜
Did you drain the meat prior to adding the spaghetti sauce?
@Simply_mamacooksonnicegram claim prize?
Cream cheese is life but this don't look bad.
That looks to yummy 😋😋
Looks and sounds good to me 😊
I have a new man friend who I will be making this for. Your recipes never lead me wrong.
Instead off alfredo sauce im going to use ricotta whipped w 1 egg till creamy
I was curious about using Lactaid sour cream instead of Alfredo sauce since I'm lactose intolerant. I wonder if that would work as well.
That looks fantastic.... I have heard of spaghetti bites (spaghetti is cut into 1 1/2 " pieces... so the noodles are short and easier to eat... just wondering if that could be an option....
come on, now...
You're a mad genius
You have such flawless skin!!!
🍝🍝🍝🍝🍝
That look when you took a bite said everything I needed to hear. Making this on Sunday for the Super Bowl!
You are one of my favorite cooks! Looks very delicious!
Thank you! 😄
I made this the other day and I will never go back to eating the”old way” spaghetti.? This is DELICIOUS
What an interesting dish. I don’t really know what to think about it. I never would have thought to use both red and white sauce. But honestly, your presentation is beautiful, and this looks so delicious. Btw, I love your baking dish. ❤️😊
Angelica, I always love, love, love your recipes. Now I’m trying to make everything in smaller quantities bc of my diminished immediate family size. They’re moved on but I still make & like your cooking. I’m originally from Corpus Christi & most of my extended family resides in San Antonio, Houston & Austin. Your recipes are liked by my extended family as well. Thank you for another good one.
Like you, my household has been shrinking. It's been fun adapting recipes to fewer servings.
Hey fellow neighbor! Im Terry Chavez (formerly Betancourt) and Im from Rockport!!! My family and I now live fulltime in San Antonio- we came here in 2017 to evacuate from Hurricane 🌀 Harvey and never went back as the storm took our house and everything we owned including what we had in our storage unit 😢so nothing to go back to….but GOD has made a way for us here and we love San Antonio bc of its diversity and its rich history and culture! I have a brother n family in Corpus still, my sister n her fam are in Rockport-Fulton and Ingleside…we visit when we can bc its only 2.5 away but prolly will not live there again anytime soon…I am happy to make ur acquaintance and pray for u and urs and all your extended fam all over the state…I miss home alot bc of the beach as we were lifelong residents till 2017. Maybe one day God will lead us back to the laid back life in retirement city, Rockport!!! Not Port A bc its tooo touristic for me now..and the locals complain as did we back in the day bc the city people are very impersonal and rude at times, and also bc there are those who dont take care of the beauty of the Texas Riviera beaches and love to go vacay but are liter bugs and have little to no respect for others lives in their own hometowns… maybe we’ll meet one day at the beach 🏝️ in Rockport…if uve not been do urself a HUGE favor and GOOOO! You wont regret it. The beach is VERY family friendly and has cabana type tables with grassy areas and kids play areas too and it gets LOADED for the 4th of July! I will be making a reservation this month for the 4th bc the hotels fill up FAST FAST FAST! Take care be well and stay blessed watching Angelica do her thing here on her channel!!! She is a SIMPLE MAMA MAKING AMAZINGLY GREAT FOODS!!!
I love watching all your videos, thank you so much ♥️
Thank you! 😄
Looks delicious.
I have been making something so close to this since the early 1990’s . My mom made this while I was growing up. She would call it easy lasagna, or a twice baked spaghetti. Looks like a warm hug. Thanks for sharing.
I just made this and added a tub of ricotta + 1 egg to the alfredo part, omgggg my boyfriend ate the whole thing I'm kinda mad lol
I made this tonight - so delicious! I love your version!
This looks fairly quick, easy and delish. I need to make a smaller version, we just don't need that much. Once again, a great family dinner!
Awesome!
This sounds amazing and looks delicious 😋 going to have to try it 💙
will try😊yet I drain my hamburger then add. 👌thank you dear friend🎶😊
Made this and it was amazing.
It's a recipe we will keep, thank you. ❤💕
So you don't drain any of the grease off of the hamburger
I’m going to do this even though I don’t have a pretty pan or someone to take the lava out of the oven. 😅😊
Your casserole dish is absolutely beautiful. I couldn't eat this unfortunately as I can't eat dairy and beef but I would absolutely try it if I could digest those two things
You can try a vegetable version with garlic butter sauce(vegan butter) and for the cheese you can try a vegan cheese or make cashew cheese and replace the beef with another ground meat o leave it all vegetables
when reheating this, or even macaroni, if ya split the serving into layers and heat it in the oven and sprinkle cheese on the bottom layer, you end up with two layers of crispy cheese on top. so good, it's almost criminal.
Looks really good to me. I have made something like this for years as well. Don’t use Alfredo sauce I use a cream cheese mixture. Really good.
I don’t know who coined millionaire spaghetti, but they obviously don’t know their history. That dish was made as early as the 70’s in the ghettos of black America. I coined it Spaghetto years ago. SPAGHETTO, not spaghetti.
Looks delish !!
Hi A!!! I have been looking all over for your casserole dish. I saw one similar but it was like 80 dollars...really...Wish I could find one. I sure liked your recipe for today. I never ate a baked Spaghetti. I'm going to give this a try. YUMS!!! Great video!!!🦋
Love you Simply Mama! Thx for the inspo. Im totally going to Super-Saiyan my spaghetti with this recipe haha
I saw this A recipe tonight on bizarre foods, I don’t speak Spanish but I love Spanish food. Could you please do your version of “seco de Chivo / Recetas Ecuador in the near future. Thanks
Oh wow I never had this before will definitely try gonna tell my daughter to subscribe to your channel you make lot’s of dishes she would love to do especially this one thank you for showing us your quick version, blessings to you and your family 🙏🏼from Diana y Jose Vasquez family 😘❤️👍🏼
🍝Hi, ! You cook great, everything is so easy and delicious, I will definitely repeat your recipe! 🧑🍳 BIG LIKE for this dish!!! 👍👍👍I also prepared something interesting for you, write me if you liked it! 😮😮Good luck and see you on RUclips!
I love using seasoning mixes that may not "go with a certain dish" especially if , from an ingredient standpoint, they add rather than subtract from the dish. I DO believe there are certain herbs and spices that belong solely to fish, beef, chicken etc. But then there are some that just go with everything and give it an extra kick in flavor
OMG!!! This looks so delicious!!! I know this video is from a year ago but now I have a dilemma 😱…I watched your Arroz Con Pollo for TWO that you just posted (July 2024) which was to be dinner tonight but this is calling to my tastebuds too…in the more current video, you said to let you know which of your recipes you would like to see scaled down and this could be one of them but as an older cook I think I can figure it out 🤔, hopefully 😂
Thank you for this wonderful video, my sweetheart! We are making it now and its almost ready for the oven. We made homemade Alfredo Sauce w/cream cheese (allrecipes version). We are extremely excited to eat! Thanks again.❤🌻❤❤❤❤
I got to try this! I make a baked spaghetti casserole which is very similar; instead of Alfredo sauce, I use cottage cheese and sour cream. It is delicious!
The way you made the sauce, my mom used to call that “fast spaghetti.” We usually got that on weekdays when there wasn’t time for real sauce from scratch.
BTW, my mom is 100% Italian.
This really looks delicious! I'm going to make it, only just half the size. Thanks Angelica! 💗
It would be MUCH better if you process the mince before cooking, ie squeeze it like dough after adding seasoning. This will make the meat 'springy' instead of crumbly and hard.
I'm not really a fan of plain pasta alfredo . It's kinda bland to me but mixed with spagetti sauce like in this dish it should be great🥰. Also I prefer your alfredo to cream cheese😉. I might toss a little cheddar on top of the mozzarella. Defintely one I want to try.
I'm a no experience cook... but trying to learn. My kids don't like bell peppers. What could I add instead?
I used to get off base in Vicenza Italy. I little place called Joe's Bar. Spaghetti con Tutto. Spaghetti with everything. Baked with cheese on top. Best paninis con tutto also.
I'll have to try it. I've been making my own alfredo and noodles. I'm going to try your way it looks so good and quick.
Lol, youtube knows me too well. I made this recipe yesterday and I'd say it failed didn't even follow a tiktok or anything, it just came to my head, it was lacking the alfrado sauce and I replaced it with white sauce or bechamel sauce for the french audience. Not to mention it was disproportioned, a lot of pasta, little amount of sauce. I ate it anyway.
But now! RUclips recommends me this video out of no where. I like the way you made it, I'll follow this one from now on.
Love ur simple way of cooking, need to take a dish to church social, this is quick and looks delicious, Thanku!!
Absolutely fantastic!! I'll copy your recipe and not make mine.
Your eyes said it all!!! Delicious ❤
Second breakfast for Hobits .
Second diner for midnight lovin.
I would’ve specified to make the pasta a little al dente because if you cook it all the way and put it in the oven it’s not gonna really be like linguine? It’ll be much.
I’d probably use rigatoni
Honestly only baking it to melt the cheese. Idk
My grandmother, rest her soul, used to make a dish like this
Was pasta under cooked to accommodate baking time. Meaning under Al dente?
I think It's ok mixing the two sauces there not mix together but there together, I'm going to try this recipe some time sounds and looks like it tastes good, but with out all that stuff added to the meat like onions.
Everything you added has huge amounts of sodium, relax on it.
I’m hungry now
That looks fantastic!! All my favorite ingredients plus, baked in the oven!!
Adding to my favorites!! And planning to make it soon!!Thank you for sharing!!😊❤
The good thing about recipes such as this is one can tweak the recipe to your family’s preference. I’ve been cooking over sixty-years, and throughout my marriage, I’ve listened to my family as they would often say the recipe would be better if I omitted an ingredient or added an ingredient. I have lots of family favorites that started as one recipe, and over the years, I’ve made it my own.
you always have the cutest pans!
😋I made it and yes its easy to make and delicious. TFS.
Can anyone offer a substitute for Alfredo sauce? No one in my family likes it
I've made same for years but I use ricotta instead of Alfredo.
Oh. My God... I will definitely make this... I wish I was there having some with you!!!!
I make a version of this. I use cottage cheese instead of Alfredo
That looks amazing. What an incredible easy recipe. Thanks so very much.
When I make this I use Ground Italian Sausage...
omg ur lik showing ur face any othr time ur hiding like
I made this. It was really good. Thank you
