It looks so much better. I still don't think the mouth is very accurate, but it looks really nice now that it is painted correctly.
Thanks man! Yeah there was no re-shaping this thing. I tried but it bounced right back. If I would've fiberglassed the inside more I would've been left with even less room than I already have in it. For the price, I'm happy with the end result.
El Fett Figured so. You can only really tell when you compare the two helmets next to each other.
honestly I think the mouth looks way too long in the official version. it looks somewhere between the two in the game
I do this with Pop! Vinyl figures, I get friends to repaint and mod them to give more life and detail to a rich character with shallow paint jobs. I'm feeling it now.
That is awesome...now, the only thing that I would've added is a before/after shot of the helmet. You did amazing work here, making the helmet look authentic and cool from what looked like it came from Toys-R-Us...and there's a reason they're all closing down xD but seriously... outstanding work, as usual, Fett!

Honestly, for what you had to work with it turned out amazing! I love that you went with the weathered look on it too. It definitely makes it look more badass in my opinion. Can’t wait for the rest of the suit!

Dude this is perfect! I was looking at doing the exact same thing and the results on this look pretty damn awesome! One of these days I'm going to have to order a DP suit from ya
Thank you! It actually looked pretty good with the rest of the suit so you can definitely make this work with a little elbow grease. I'll post a breakdown vid of all the parts and the finished product soon. And I'd be happy to help you with a DP suit when the time comes :)

Haha hell yeah man! Been rocking the t-shirt sleeves since my mid 20s, right around the time my hairline started receding lol. But even if I had a full luscious head of hear, I would still rock the sleeve. The MTV Challenge Banana's is my aesthetic :P

pls tell me what visor you got
Just bought this helmet and found its too small. Ive chosen to cut the helmet in half (a line from ear to ear) so that it has a front mask and scalp cover that goes over the back of my head. What would you recommend as a material to glue between the two pieces so that i can attach them together and repaint it so that its one consistent colour and appearance?
