Didn't know Kyle got to talk to the original artist and use some of their renders, what an amazing resource for this awesome build!
So awesome to see this come together! I still remember the hot, humid evenings we spent filming the live-action shots! Can't wait to see more videos!
Hotter than Hansel. 😂 Thanks for your tireless work at Hohman Design and for sharing your incredible replica props with us.
Impressive, so many pieces hand-made and carefully painted. Excellent work.
I forget how much you got to see the pieces in person Kevin... The scenic painting was on point. But then so was everything else.
I love the detail and all the work that went into making this armor.
So detailed! The scenic painting was on point!
Every detail mattered! Hours of work went into the tiniest of details!
I loved seeing how it was put together. Great sense of how it came together.
This guy is so talented. It was a great internship and we hope to work with hm again!
Love the beginning.... what I love more is the creativity. I am fascinated by those who do things far different than my imagination can track. Thank you for being one of those people who continue to fascinate me with not only your creativity but also by being who you are. Love that! Great job!
Thank you!
So much talent here. Love this!
I was making at that age, but omgg, this kid is killing!
It was a crazy time! It was awesome learning from a master
6:55 Hate to be the grammar guy but its 'EVA' foam not 'PVA' foam. Some people learning about how to build cosplay and props might find that misleading. Other than that I am quite impressed with this Titanfall suit. :)
Hey, Thanks Sage! Wish we had caught that in time to make an on-screen correction. Kyle knows EVA backward and forward, but I guess I just recalled it improperly. Thanks again for contributing and making the community better!
Such an underrated game man
Definitely is! By creating this suit, I was hoping it would draw more attention to the game and when Tom and I were filming the live-action scenes, I was predicting people would go back and play the game.
It was incredible to be introduced to Titanfall and its incredible production design through Kyle's suit. I keep hoping he will demo the game for me!
Vulcan Armory Props Apex Legends definitely brought new players to this game, and for sure your creation will bring players as well.
This is a very underrated channel
Thanks for saying so @Grandad_Sam ! Stick with us, despite a long hiatus, we are just getting started .
Hey there, I'm looking back at a few viewers who really clicked with us to let you know that we have new projects coming up. Help us get the viewers you suggested that would like this channel by hanging in there with us and commenting on the videos! We just posted a new space segment on the channel. Most importantly, in the first ten seconds there is a highlight reel of our diverse upcoming projects. Head to the channel and our newest post, Space Is What's Next - Episode 1 - The Cram Session, I hope you enjoy it.
Tom is EXCELLENT and delivering authentic and enjoyable content! I hope to do more collaborations with him in the future!
Been waiting for this one!! Awesome.
Thanks man. This suit was so rad.
Intro is sick!!!
Thanks!
How does this not have over @ 100 k views
Thanks for thinking highly of Kyle's incredible work, his suit is really great. If you seriously want to know the answer to your question, for new and small channels, RUclips simply does not put the video in front of eyeballs. Not even when they search for it directly. You have to help people find it from the outside, IG FB Reddit and other places. Feel free to help this video by putting it out there on your platforms that send people to the video and/or the channel. Thanks again for your encouragement either way!!!

This is really impressive. Great work, Kyle!
He crushed it. 2x!
Thank you so much! The live-action scenes were a dream come true. Couldn't have done it without Tom and the team!
That suit looks awesome. This has inspired me to create from titan fall for myself. Good job.
No doubt. I want a 501st Legion for TITANFALL.
Which pilot are you thinking of making?
Amazing I absolutely love it
Kyle did a great job. Thanks for watching!
It's a well made costume and you can see the gents talent, It's giving me the motivation to complete my TF2 cosplay costume...
Make sure to tag us with your pics on Twitter and IG @hohmandesign !
Its pilot suit
@@osprei5347 No doubt! Kyle tried to set us straight on several occasions, I can't believe it made it into the title as well. 😂
@Aaron I'm definitely late to respond but if you got a forum thread, or social media post, I'd love to check it out.
Dam it looks really nice
I think Kyle hit it out of the park. Thanks for watching!
Doing all the weathering and stressing is my favorite part and I find it really relaxing. It's like, all of the hardest work is done, and now you get to tell the story of the character. What kind of scratch marks or broken elements with how much dirt and grime show virtually anyone what the character has gone through?
This guy and I would’ve been BEST friends in high school/college
I'm so glad Kyle IS one of our friends! Hey, don't know if you like space stuff, but we just posted a new segment on the channel about space, but in the first ten seconds you'll see a highlight reel of upcoming maker projects, I hope those will be of interest to you!
High school/college is definitely the time to get started in skills like this! I just graduated with a B.S in Indsutrial Design after interning with Hohman Design I'm summer of 2018. Definitely check out his RUclips, social media, and website to see everything he's done!
I’m very surprised this channel only has 666 subscribers
Help us reach 667! Hey there, I'm looking back at a few viewers who really clicked with us to let you know that we have new projects coming up and more Lego in there. We just posted a new space segment on the channel and the Lego ISS even makes an appearance there. But. more importantly, in the first ten seconds there is a highlight reel of our diverse upcoming projects. Head to the channel and our newest post, Space Is What's Next - Episode 1 - The Cram Session, I hope you enjoy it.
This is so fascinating to learn about! Thanks for the video and WOW WOW WOW to that intro. Amazing job!
When I was Kyle's age, I was wrapping up a childhood of pinewood derby cars and whittling whistles. I wish I could go back and do it all again in this current era that celebrates making! I had my Legos tho, so things turned out all right. 😉
Great to meet you at workbenchcon! This is a very well shot and well edited video. Cheers
Thanks man! you too! Thanks for thinking well of our effort here.
Super late on the titanfall bandwagon but with 3 being rumored I'm gonna try to make my own pilot 😁
I've been hearing some rumors about Tifanfall 3 as well! There's still a selection group of people who will make a pilot suit/cosplay, so I'm glad to hear you're interested! Would love to see more pilots out there!
The game has such good production design, It'll be great to see that expanded!
i wish i could do stuff like this but i wouldnt be able to make heads or tails
Everybody starts somewhere. This was by no means Kyle's first cosplay endeavor. Some of his first suits were VERY primitive but each attempt of the maker only wets the appetite for another attempt and inevitable refinement. Be inspired by Kyle's amazing work, but start anywhere, and revel in it!
@@HohmanDesign inspirational words :)
Wow, just wow the sheer effort and love put into this project is astounding. I'm sure I'd love to see anyone displaying this, but I your usage of tone disturbs me
Kyle is a perfectionist in the best way possible. Nice of you to notice. Hey, I'm looking back at a few viewers who really clicked with us to let you know that we just posted a new space segment on the channel. But. perhaps more importantly, in the first ten seconds there is a highlight reel of our diverse upcoming maker projects. Head to the channel and our newest post, Space Is What's Next - Episode 1 - The Cram Session, I hope you enjoy it.
There were many, many nights where I lost track of time and I was up till 3am sewing one of the leg wraps/covers or waiting for a base coat of paint to dry, or something. All worth it in the end! I designed it to be more rugged than my previous suits in case I did an live-action shoots. Turns out, Tom gave me that opportunity!
What'd clothes did u use as a body suit
I'll ask Kyle to reply here. In the mean time we just dropped a new video. It's about the space industry. In the first ten seconds tho we highlight our upcoming maker projects. Comment on which one of those quick shots interests you the most, would you? And thanks for liking this Titanfall episode!
I bought an all black combat/tactical shirt and ranger green combat pants. I spent time browsing online between airsoft suppliers and other outdoor retailers (like REI) to find the pants that I felt best suited the style of the pilot and where easily accepting of modifications. I sewed on a few elements
You went so far with the work and this is amazing but you couldn't make a gun from titanfall and take more time?
I'll ask Kyle to ring in here, you can congratulate him on finishing his industrial design degree! In the mean time, I wanted to let you know that we have new projects coming up. We just posted a new space segment on the channel. Most importantly, in the first ten seconds there is a highlight reel of our diverse upcoming projects. Head to the channel and our newest post, Space Is What's Next - Episode 1 - The Cram Session, I hope you enjoy it.
@@HohmanDesign thanks I'll check it out. Also yeah sorry I wasn't trying to be rude or anything but with y'all's skill I would be willing to buy some of the stuff you make, I haven't checked if you sell it though I should probably do that. I think you should make kits for airsoft guns and real guns, if you had a alternater glock kit or something I would buy that so fast.
@@gannonruby1119 No worries! Kyle may very well go on to develop some airsoft equipment. He has already done some for himself I believe.
I got this suit done at 4am the day I had to move out to restart my college career - started studying Industrial Design! By the time that semester ended I began interning at Hohman Design and we had our hands full of all other kinds of projects. I may return to a few tianfall projects soon!
@@kylespittledesigns5147 yeah sorry I'm not trying to be rude. You did really good, you probably saw my other reply so I won't say all that again. I love your work though
Hi Tommy! This is me saving you $50! Hahahaha! Two days.
omg 😂 there's What's app and Skype and FT and calling... I love you too.
But its pilot not flight suit
Wish we had you here to keep us in line, I kept calling it the wrong thing over and over. 😂
Doh! Kyle corrected me so many times but I had it locked in my head! Thanks for watching.
