This is an excellent deck. I remember playing against decks a lot like this; in the ripe old year of about 1999 or so lol.
I played Hunt Down at World's 98'. No one else I saw played it
You just dated yourself so bad brother lol.
Be careful initiating battle with Ozzel, especially in space. They react with Spiral, Ozzel's own text does him in ("Lost if Vader on table and opponent reacts to same location as Ozzel.")

Why no Mara Jade, as she can start duels too?
Mara is great. Issue is this deck does up to special edition and she’s in enhanced Jabba’s palace which was a few sets later.
was there a reason to play enhanced prem fett with gun but not enhanced vader with saber?
I think it’s mostly to get a diversity of personalities. You’re already running 5 Vaders. You can only have one on the table at once, so you want to have some other characters out there to balance out Vader as he can’t be everywhere at once.
@@boardmatt i spose the benefit of having the permanent saber is outweighed by the attrition immunity, choking and/or affinity with tarkin that the other vaders have. i wonder how often though the deck struggles to find one of the vader sabers and vader has to just go around winning fights with the force and destiny draws because for the life of him he simply can't remember where he left his saber
would be fun to see some gameplay with the deck and it's pilot
