I really liked Reflections 2. I collect all the books and the comics from the Expanded Universe so it was fun getting to play with some of those characters and starships. Besides that Hoth is probably my favorite set although I don't care for some of the deploy mechanics.
I did like that about ref 2, and I was so excited because I thought that was the direction they were going to go in the future (expanded universe) and i think they even said they were. THENNNNNNN all the sudden, nope we are doing epi1
I loved playing in DS II sealed tournaments. The thematic element with all of the Endor and DS II cards really made them so much fun. Because of that those two sets sit at the top for me.
Endor was my favorite, I bought so many packs when it came out. We used to spend so much time speculating about what they would do for the enhanced version of it one day but never got the chance to see it happen. Ithorians with daughter of skywalker and ewoks was always fun to play.
My buddy Jake and I were the only players in our town, so my experience was as casual and kitchen-table as they come. I have many fond memories of hiding under the Shield Generators on Hoth or in Asteroid Fields as his Imperials chased me down. It only took us about a year to even get the rules figured out, but what fun we had. I sadly sold my collection when I got heavy into Magic, but a surprising local listing that I picked up on Facebook last year got me collecting a bit for the huge nostalgia feels. Finally have that Vader...finally. As for sets, I'll just rank the first few, as I was only occasionally buying packs after Jabba's Palace. 6 Cloud City 5 A New Hope 4 Dagobah 3 Jabba's Palace 2 Hoth 1 Premiere
Gotta go Death Star 2. Ever card is beautiful, and it had an epic sense of finality and climax on time of release. Can’t beat all those ships and pilots! And it was insane how awesome the starter decks were for those of us who had so few mains back in the day
Been playing for a year now and finally went to a meet up at Dreamer’s Vault; learning quickly that my knowledge of decks beyond Hoth is nil. Add the new (v) cards and it’s a lot to absorb! Thanks for your fun videos. Nice to learn some high level of some of the decks.
I love Special Edition. I missed out on buying some of the earlier sets years ago but bought a ton of SE when it came out. The cards bring back alot of good memories.
Got to admit, I was staring at my computer clock at work on Friday wondering how this week’s video would start. Not disappointed. I’m an extreme outlier. Dagobah is my favorite with A New Hope a close second.
Premiere is my favorite set too. It was the beginning and I was right there from the start not exactly knowing what It was. Anh very much seems like an extension of the premiere set. Hoth was for me the first real expansion, and everything seemed so exotic. So favorite set is premiere. Favorite expansion is Hoth.
Unpopular opinion but I loved Jedi Training and the dark look of the Dagobah set - plus the incredible Imperial ships in the set (hello Executor!) make it my Fave.
Endor was my favorite, maybe because it was the first box I ever got. It did have a nice aesthetic to it. Also super playable as a standalone. Always liked sets where you could open the box and play a couple games with just the cards you pulled. Of the non-expansions, Reflections II was my favorite. Was fun to get the characters from classic EU, and combo cards were a cool idea and Ref II's were well designed, unlike the busted ones in Coruscant. And even though they were overpowered, Watch Your Step and Black Sun were super fun objectives.
Endor was the most fun standalone set i have to agree, (sorry hoth, SE, Premiere) Ref II was much more in check then stuff that came after - and those objectives are fun as hell to play Great comment
I think you could group the sets pretty easily grouped into 5 buckets where you in turn rank the buckets. Bucket 1) Premiere and Special Edition. What I would call the "rule set" sets, Bucket 2) Hoth, Endor, DS2: The heavy theme sets with many memorable cards; Bucket 3) Dagobah, A New Hope, Cloud City, Jabba's Palace: The rest of the original trilogy sets. Bucket 4) Tatooine, Coruscant, Theed Palace: The episode one block. Bucket 5) Reflections sets: Favorite packs to open because of possibility of multiple rares across sets. Reprints and Power creep is how I remember these I personally have the fondest memories of playing the Premiere through Hoth time frame with the Sealed Premiere/ANH format from the first sealed tourney deck products being my absolute favorite format to play. Premiere and then Hoth are my favorite 2 sets. I have found enjoyment playing cards from all of the sets. I never got into the virtual cards so just the Decipher printings for me.
great comment, def agree with the "chucks" you put them into. And totally love love love priemere-hoth format. we are going to get that going here again in a few months, stay tuned for the 10th video
I always got so excited when we’d go to Toys R Us in 1998, and they’d have Hoth packs on close out for a buck. Hoth was my favorite set for sure (in the time period I played). I also enjoyed some of the Episode 1 stuff, namely the ease with which I was able to pull mains….as I did not…pull mains easily…before that…
Hard to beat the excitement I had pulling a Death Star and building decks to try and kill the Death Star before it can blow away Yavin. ANH gets my vote for favorite.
if both players agree thats what they want to do with their decks, yep that is a freaking fun game to play, so def can see why ANH would be higher on your list, I still love the set
I mostly agree with your list, probably only tweak things mainly at the bottom end: 1) Premiere - The OG, nothing more needs to be said. If this set wasn't great, none of the other sets would exist. 2) Special Edition - While I'm not crazy about the power level of objectives, overall this set was hugely important in defining what SWCCG was to pretty much everybody. 3) Endor - Ewoks were a miss, but the dark side especially was great. Lots of fun and important effects and good rares. 4) Death Star 2 - Really dislike the power creep, especially on the Emperor, LSJK, and the two objectives. Otherwise the set it visually amazing and fun to play. 5) Hoth - As much as I love hoth, the fact that most of the cards didn't have a huge effect outside of Hoth itself makes me rank it a little lower. 6) Jabba's Palace - Most of the rare aliens were dissapointing, but I think what it did with the Starting Interrupt, Jabba's Palace sites, and useful interrupt and effects makes up for it. 7) Dagobah - Yoda and Son of Skywalker are great, wish SoS didn't have such deployment restrictions. Executor is probably the favorite of the set. Bounty hunters were all super cool but unfortunately underpowered. 8) A New Hope - Not much in here. Death Star is cool, and Monnok is probably my favorite card in the set. Wedge and Chewie and Red 5 also fun. Officer Evax also very good. Too bad they didn't make Officer Evax a full counterpart to Wedge, but he's still quite playable. That shows how broken Wedge is. 9) Cloud City - Just not much in here either. No good effects, no good characters, except Captain Han and Boba Fett. Carbon freezing and bounty hunting are half-baked. Non-unique clouds are a mess. Epic duel was cool, but not really viable until Hunt Down.
Yeah, its gotta be Death Star II for me. That many starships? Lots of characters? The Ultra Rares? It's my favorite. I love the aesthetic of Hoth but never dug in quite AS hard. I agree on Special Edition being good, but also the not loving the art/aesthetic to it. Though I love the wrappers. My "I wish I appreciated this more back in the day" set is Endor for sure. And Reflections 2 has a spot in my heart for all of the EU stuff, it'd be close to the top too.
It's hard to choose whats the best set. Hoth and Endor might be my favorites, but it's hard to say. I bought alot of Dagobah and Cloud City before really getting into playing and collecting. So, those also have special place in my heart. Maybe because the bounty hunters were something great.
I loved the jabbas palace expansion, the first time when you could search your deck with a starting interrupt and the cool Location deploymant at Tattooine withe the jabbas palace sites, it felt so cool to have a rancor at the pit, and the scum and villainy at the audience chamber
yes!!! good points, now playing a lot more these last 6 months i wish i could remake a lot of these videos, my opinions have changed, Jabbas palace is a fucking awesome set for sure. and starting interrupts make the game so much more dynamic. I think objectives are totally unnecessary now. You can replace them with elaborate immune to alter starting effects. and make all sorts of interesting concepts, "rescue the princess and blow up the death star" . etc
Agree with giving respect to Premiere. One of my first packs, in 1995, I peeled the cards and saw an Imperial Class Star Destroyer. Such a great image, so much power, loved it. I was convinced it was the rare, how could it not be? The very next card: Grand Moff Tarkin. Mind blown.
Not the best set, but my fav is Jabbas Palace. Probably due to sentiment, as when being a kid I could not afford to buy a lot boosters, but thanks to my richer neighbours (who also introduced me to game, before I even watched movies, when I was like 10 years old (didn't even know English language then).) I had a lot of JP themed cards as they gave me some spares so I could have my own deck. Also I always loved tatooine. Building various deck, often dark side (I played as dark, my mate was light side) around Jabbas Palace was awesome, capturing guys with Boosk and bringing them to prison, or trying to dominate all areas, reacting with skiff deploying dozens of non unique aliens, playing round objective. Lots of fun! ❤️
I think I gotta go with DS2, so many exciting rares to open and the chance at an ultra-rare. I actually liked building around the Admiral's Orders and putting 3-4 of them in my deck.
Premiere for the win! I bought two starter decks in middle school when it first came out (thank you lawn mowing money!) First starter, Leia. Second starter, Vader himself. Can't even explain the feeling opening those decks. All the sets had their moments, but Premiere just stood a step above. Even opening packs now, there is more anticipation for me with Premiere than any other set!
I rank Premiere top, as it hooked me in to collecting and playing only this CCG as a Star Wars fan, while also finding an alternative to MTG. 2 was Hoth with theme, 3 is Endor with a long list of Imps and Rebs to use and 4 goes to Jabba's Palace with a huge number of aliens. 5 was Dagobah as the bounty hunters and ships were popular. 6, Cloud City only had a little bit that felt new and 7 goes to New Hope as it started me looking at every card for easter eggs. But 8 was Special, because I went heavy trying to buy it (large set, yay!/too large a set, boo!) couldn't still get everything I needed (and am still 2 short of a full set). It was the set that killed off people that were buying it who, like me, weren't old enough for full time jobs, and then by the time DS2 came out, there was no reason to get into it as the number of people playing had evapourated. I think I only ever saw 1 box of Tatooine in store and that was it... *sigh*
Veers v Jerjerrod finale. I never really played competitively save for a few local tournaments here and there in the late 90s, so most of the decks I built around thematic elements from the movies. Hoth was nice in that it was relatively self-contained and fun as long as both players were playing on Hoth. Aside from the star destroyers and bounty hunters, I wasnt a huge fan of Dagobah. Special edition was very nice though as it patched so many holes missing from thematic decks and allowed things like jedi training, or blowing up the death star, or blowing up a planet much smoother, so I'd have to say as an overall set, that was probably my favorite. The pictures in DSII though were probably the best.
the only thing i really disagree with is Special Edition. it mostly expanded on existing strategies from what i remember. but i would rank the sets by order of individual usefulness. SE jut doesn't have enough independently useful cards in a stand alone setting, in my opinion. My rankings... 1 Premiere - i agree with you. This set gave us our first steps into a much larger world. It also had a lot of useful cards that are still useable today 2 Endor - One of the more iconic moments in the series. it was also the first set to drop almost a full set of new mains for the LS. plus, BIKER SCOUTS!!! 3 Hoth - epic standoff on an ice covered world with giant walkers and snow speeders? yes, please! 4 Cloud City - One of the most defining moments of the story, this expansion brought that drama straight into my living room 5 Death Star 2 - The go to set for space battles, Papa Palpy and Satan Luke 6 Jabbas Palace - Im not saying it was the aliens, but.... Tatooine got a lot more fun after this set came out 7 Special Edition - Lot of great cards to enhance some already potent decks. Plus, the generic sites really opened up the possibilities for creative decks 8 Theed Palace - A crude weapon from a more civilized time. Once Ep1 hit, the game just broke. A good attempt to make some fun times from the Prequels, but they'd already done so much damage that this just felt like triage. 9 Dagobah - The set that almost turned SWCCG into a single player experience, but it also gave us bounty hunters, finally. 10 Tatooine - Maul, Qui Gon, and more real estate for tatooine. Pod racing was cute for about 2 minutes, then it just got stupid 11 A New Hope - R2, Chewie, and blowing up the Happy Fun Ball. Good as a follow up set, but on it own.... meh 12 Coruscant - The only card games i've ever played that needed politics are Illumnati:NWO and Vampire:TES. This set did NOT change my mind. It did give us some good Jedi to play with, tho 13 Reflections 2, Reflections 3 - I have mixed emotions about these sets. Do they have some good cards? Absolutely! Did they break the game completely (for me)? Yup. Are they fun sets? You bet! Do i feel like they were just last minute desperate cash grabs? More or less. I admit, I'm slightly biased against the Ep 1 sets. I didnt have a lot of money to buy cards, and it was hard to find packs, so my decks really suffered for it. LotR TCG was a lot easier to get a hold of, so my focus shifted away for the last 3 sets. another fun video, keep up the great work!
Great comment great list (patrician ranking for sure) , thanks a lot - completely agree with your ref 2-3, i didnt want to include in the video because it would just be me ranting also point well taken about SE, the cards are either buffing older "useless" cards or building on already established strats
My personal rankings: Special Edition > DS2 >>>>> Tatooine > Cloud City > Theed > Jabba's Palace > Endor > Premiere > Dagobah > Hoth > Coruscant > A New Hope Loved seeing the better quality images on some Episode 1 cards, but agreed about the power creep and politics. I know they're popular but I disliked how most of the LS (and some DS) cards in Endor and Hoth were so damn specific to one planet. :(
My personal ranking: Hoth, Premier, Special Edition, Cloud City, Death Star II, Dagobah, and New Hope. I mostly skipped Endor and stopped playing after DSII. But there’s lots of stuff I love about all of the sets. Like Dagobah; I LOVE bounty hunting, all the Dark side cards in the set really, but the capturing mechanics & benefits didn’t get fleshed out until Cloud City. I also thought Jedi training was weak for the amount of attention it needed & neigh impossible to pull off anyway.
Episode 1 sets at the bottom... Seems like a great order to me! ( Politics, Pod racing, LS combat 🤮) all my decks are episode 1 icon free now! And it's a blast, anyhow good lists!
Surprised Jek wasn't your favorite from Premiere card. I would rank my top five Primiere, Endor, Hoth, Special Edition, then Death Star 2. My least favorite set was Dagobah.
Although I think you're right about Premiere holding the top spot, I think we're both objectively wrong. There is so much filler in that set, so many oddball cards that do weird stuff. Don't get me wrong, I love it, and I'm enjoying going back and putting mining droids in decks and not being able to move Imperial Trooper Guards and stuff, but the game really improved with new sets. I also think you're right about ANH's place, but I think that it's better to view Premiere and ANH together, since they're so functionally integrated with each other. ANH really completes what Premiere is supposed to be. So, objectively, Premiere should be down in the 5-7 range, but with ANH, I think they should together bump up to the 4-2 range.
Bummed Piett is already out! Cool list of sets though. I totally agree that the Ep 1 sets are garbage. They should have been a different game. Nostalgically, ANH is my favorite just because that is what I was buying up when I got into the game and I actually got to put together Attack Run and CPI decks. I got out at Jabba's Palace, so didn't know much of that and had no idea Special Edition through DSII were even made until last year. From my perspective now, DSII has so many important cards, I just have to pick that one even though I'm not big on the objectives. Cloud City is beautiful and really fun, and so is Hoth. I always thought Endor is super overrated. Battle Order/Plan and the Objectives are the only things I like about it. The cards all have really ugly grainy, messy images that definitely stand out from all the other sets.
It is a shame, he was def my #1 pick lol funny thing is the did make another game, "YOUNGGGGG JEDI" oh then they decided to ruin swccg too by making a confusing as hell timeline with 20 year old obi wan fighting 50 year old vader, while there is senate with light side palatine but at the same time DS has the emperor out agree about endor, the images arent as crisp
The power creep is too real with later sets, specifically Ep 1. Premiere and ANH pilots need an update. Biggs, Pops, etc., could have used a buff. Personally, Hoth and Endor are among my favorite sets
for sure, I think they way they did permanent pilots and ships in general needed reworking. maybe there should always be a permanent pilot, then you dont get stuck with these unusable ships with no pilot or astromech
I really stopped playing for 10 years right when those came out! so I am def. biased, but as far as ascetics there are lots of cool ass cards in those sets
@@fatty777 I haven’t given it quite as much thought as you have, but my top three sets (that you included) would have to be Endor, Death Star II, and special edition. My least favorite would be A New Hope, Premiere, and Cloud City.
haha, today I learned that Star Wars had a CCG.... and to answer the title... all of them should be in shit tier, since nobody knows this shit even exists lol
This channel has the 90s dad humor star wars content I didn't know I was missing out on.
thanks buddy!
I loved playing in DS II sealed tournaments. The thematic element with all of the Endor and DS II cards really made them so much fun. Because of that those two sets sit at the top for me.

As for sets, I'll just rank the first few, as I was only occasionally buying packs after Jabba's Palace.
6 Cloud City
5 A New Hope
4 Dagobah
3 Jabba's Palace
2 Hoth
1 Premiere
good story like it, have similar memories, nice ranking!!
LOVE THESE VIDEOS!!!
Gotta go Death Star 2. Ever card is beautiful, and it had an epic sense of finality and climax on time of release. Can’t beat all those ships and pilots! And it was insane how awesome the starter decks were for those of us who had so few mains back in the day
good point about the starter decks, i remember thinking "wow all these amazing cards and I dont have to buy 30 packs"
Been playing for a year now and finally went to a meet up at Dreamer’s Vault; learning quickly that my knowledge of decks beyond Hoth is nil. Add the new (v) cards and it’s a lot to absorb! Thanks for your fun videos. Nice to learn some high level of some of the decks.
so many cards too learn!!!
I love Special Edition. I missed out on buying some of the earlier sets years ago but bought a ton of SE when it came out. The cards bring back alot of good memories.
Special Edition is awesome! Great expansion.
good time to get into the game honestly!
Totally agree with admirals orders. Same with shields.
100%. Shields.. are... well youll see in my next video
you are a man of taste I can see!!!
Awesome video! My favorite set of all time is split between premiere and special edition!
a person of taste I can see!
Got to admit, I was staring at my computer clock at work on Friday wondering how this week’s video would start. Not disappointed.
I’m an extreme outlier. Dagobah is my favorite with A New Hope a close second.
your comment made my day no joke! Thanks a lot
Also you won the starter deck! Email me at
fatttty@protonmail.com
Good stuff keep up the swccg content please - thank you
thanks!!!!
Going to have to go with Special Edition (sorry Hoth). First box I bought myself as a kid and had a blast opening it.
Wow didn’t see that coming. I think your top 5 is the same for me.. maybe just a different order. The red Death Star packs just call out to me 🤩
we have patrician tastes
and yea totally agree, opening DS2 packs was about the most fun of any set to open
wish this game was still available, i'd have bought so many boxes that I could never afford as a kid
Hhaah same... they should do a remake of the whole thing and print. and rebalance
Unpopular opinion but I loved Jedi Training and the dark look of the Dagobah set - plus the incredible Imperial ships in the set (hello Executor!) make it my Fave.
same! actually thinking more about it, I should have put dag. above cloud city and maybe JP
Endor was my favorite, maybe because it was the first box I ever got. It did have a nice aesthetic to it. Also super playable as a standalone. Always liked sets where you could open the box and play a couple games with just the cards you pulled.

Ref II was much more in check then stuff that came after - and those objectives are fun as hell to play
Great comment
A top 5 and bottom 5 favorite cards from each set would be cool. Great videos.
good Idea, will have to in the future
I think you could group the sets pretty easily grouped into 5 buckets where you in turn rank the buckets.
Bucket 1) Premiere and Special Edition. What I would call the "rule set" sets,
Bucket 2) Hoth, Endor, DS2: The heavy theme sets with many memorable cards;
Bucket 3) Dagobah, A New Hope, Cloud City, Jabba's Palace: The rest of the original trilogy sets.
Bucket 4) Tatooine, Coruscant, Theed Palace: The episode one block.
Bucket 5) Reflections sets: Favorite packs to open because of possibility of multiple rares across sets. Reprints and Power creep is how I remember these

same, and yea SE luster just isnt that great -
when completing my collection, endor was the one I had least of (besides ep one cards) face palm
It's hard to choose whats the best set. Hoth and Endor might be my favorites, but it's hard to say. I bought alot of Dagobah and Cloud City before really getting into playing and collecting. So, those also have special place in my heart. Maybe because the bounty hunters were something great.
same here haha, so much CC and Dag...
I loved the jabbas palace expansion, the first time when you could search your deck with a starting interrupt and the cool Location deploymant at Tattooine withe the jabbas palace sites, it felt so cool to have a rancor at the pit, and the scum and villainy at the audience chamber

I think objectives are totally unnecessary now. You can replace them with elaborate immune to alter starting effects. and make all sorts of interesting concepts, "rescue the princess and blow up the death star" . etc
One thing i didn't liked was when the light side covered the Audience Chamber with the light side site. But there where sevral options to handle that.
Mind blown.
haha same thing happened to me, except I got a han seeker, and I just assumed the Star Destroyer was my rare for a few months
Premiere, Hoth, Dagobah and New Hope are 1 to 4 for me.
Not the best set, but my fav is Jabbas Palace. Probably due to sentiment, as when being a kid I could not afford to buy a lot boosters, but thanks to my richer neighbours (who also introduced me to game, before I even watched movies, when I was like 10 years old (didn't even know English language then).) I really like Theed. You can never have enough Gungans and battle droids.
haha you really cant, in card form or in CGI on the screen
Hysterical intro
I think I gotta go with DS2, so many exciting rares to open and the chance at an ultra-rare. I actually liked building around the Admiral's Orders and putting 3-4 of them in my deck.
agree, opening ds2 packs are about the most fun packs to open!

those are some good pulls, yep and love that about premiere! can pull absolute garbage and the best cards in the game
Hoth is definitely my favorite set. Still confused why they never did dark side main power generators though.
I'd say Special Edition and Hoth are 1 and 2. Hoth had such cool looking cards and SE helped create theme decks
*sigh*
great points, and nice ranking, yes felt the same way that at 14 when endor/ds2 came out i was getting priced out
Veers v Jerjerrod finale. The pictures in DSII though were probably the best.
wow you called it for the finals
and gotta agree DSii pictures were some of the best
the only thing i really disagree with is Special Edition. it mostly expanded on existing strategies from what i remember. but i would rank the sets by order of individual usefulness. SE jut doesn't have enough independently useful cards in a stand alone setting, in my opinion. My rankings...
1 Premiere - i agree with you. This set gave us our first steps into a much larger world. It also had a lot of useful cards that are still useable today
2 Endor - One of the more iconic moments in the series. it was also the first set to drop almost a full set of new mains for the LS. plus, BIKER SCOUTS!!!
3 Hoth - epic standoff on an ice covered world with giant walkers and snow speeders? yes, please!
4 Cloud City - One of the most defining moments of the story, this expansion brought that drama straight into my living room
5 Death Star 2 - The go to set for space battles, Papa Palpy and Satan Luke
6 Jabbas Palace - Im not saying it was the aliens, but.... Tatooine got a lot more fun after this set came out
7 Special Edition - Lot of great cards to enhance some already potent decks. Plus, the generic sites really opened up the possibilities for creative decks
8 Theed Palace - A crude weapon from a more civilized time.
Pod racing was cute for about 2 minutes, then it just got stupid
11 A New Hope - R2, Chewie, and blowing up the Happy Fun Ball. Good as a follow up set, but on it own.... meh
12 Coruscant - The only card games i've ever played that needed politics are Illumnati:NWO and Vampire:TES. This set did NOT change my mind. It did give us some good Jedi to play with, tho
13 Reflections 2, Reflections 3 - I have mixed emotions about these sets.
LotR TCG was a lot easier to get a hold of, so my focus shifted away for the last 3 sets.
another fun video, keep up the great work!
edited because i forgot Jabbas palace.
Great comment great list (patrician ranking for sure) , thanks a lot - completely agree with your ref 2-3, i didnt want to include in the video because it would just be me ranting
also point well taken about SE, the cards are either buffing older "useless" cards or building on already established strats
My personal rankings: Special Edition > DS2 >>>>> Tatooine > Cloud City > Theed > Jabba's Palace > Endor > Premiere > Dagobah > Hoth > Coruscant > A New Hope
Loved seeing the better quality images on some Episode 1 cards, but agreed about the power creep and politics. I know they're popular but I disliked how most of the LS (and some DS) cards in Endor and Hoth were so damn specific to one planet. :(
Nice ranking, and I agree, the ep. 1 cards are visual awesome
Mara Jade Emperors Hand is my favorite card, replacing Vader in duels opened up the game imo.
I think Endor is at the top of my list. You get an army of Ewoks and great land warfare.
I also thought Jedi training was weak for the amount of attention it needed & neigh impossible to pull off anyway.
yea jedi training was so damn hard, even with the objective, but almost impossible without!
Episode 1 sets at the bottom... Seems like a great order to me! ( Politics, Pod racing, LS combat 🤮) all my decks are episode 1 icon free now! And it's a blast, anyhow good lists!
you are a person of taste I can tell! I feel the exact same way
Pretty sure i remember you destroying one of my games with a stone pile on gemp 👍
i apologize so annoying haha- 80% of the time it doesnt work! but if you hit their executor or marrejk.. or other key card! what a treat!!
You did Hoth dirty! Haha. Otherwise, fun video!
haha. nooo too many Yaggle Gakkle type cards to give it 1st!
Surprised Jek wasn't your favorite from Premiere card. I would rank my top five Primiere, Endor, Hoth, Special Edition, then Death Star 2. My least favorite set was Dagobah.
Hahah he's not :) nice ranking
Although I think you're right about Premiere holding the top spot, I think we're both objectively wrong. There is so much filler in that set, so many oddball cards that do weird stuff. Don't get me wrong, I love it, and I'm enjoying going back and putting mining droids in decks and not being able to move Imperial Trooper Guards and stuff, but the game really improved with new sets.
I also think you're right about ANH's place, but I think that it's better to view Premiere and ANH together, since they're so functionally integrated with each other. ANH really completes what Premiere is supposed to be.
So, objectively, Premiere should be down in the 5-7 range, but with ANH, I think they should together bump up to the 4-2 range.
great points, I agree, the game is not refined in Premiere - ANH, so many wasted cards, and opportunities
I think mine would be Premiere first, hoth second and Dagobah third, but that's mostly because I stopped playing after cloud City!
why
@@MUFSpoiler why did I stop, or why is that my order of sets?
I legit like them all haha
unfathomably based
Bummed Piett is already out!
It is a shame, he was def my #1 pick
lol funny thing is the did make another game, "YOUNGGGGG JEDI" oh then they decided to ruin swccg too by making a confusing as hell timeline with 20 year old obi wan fighting 50 year old vader, while there is senate with light side palatine but at the same time DS has the emperor out
agree about endor, the images arent as crisp
Accurate list mate…
The power creep is too real with later sets, specifically Ep 1. Premiere and ANH pilots need an update. Biggs, Pops, etc., could have used a buff. Personally, Hoth and Endor are among my favorite sets
for sure, I think they way they did permanent pilots and ships in general needed reworking. maybe there should always be a permanent pilot, then you dont get stuck with these unusable ships with no pilot or astromech
Lennox is my hunk
Dagobah!
My favorites are #1 Theed Palace and #2 Coruscant 😪
I really stopped playing for 10 years right when those came out! so I am def. biased, but as far as ascetics there are lots of cool ass cards in those sets
Can you do Rebel officer hunks next?? All that facial hair…
hahah, I might have to put an age restriction on the videos
Best is premiere. Also love jabbas and DS2. Hoth is last
Hoth last?? 😱 What did Hoth ever do to you? 😄
@@alexbirsak it froze his taun taun before it hit the 5th marker
@@dalamar316 it did. Froze it solid. Ha! Nah..hoth is good on its own but most of the 'good" cards can't be useful outside of hoth
@@legendkillerjedi for sure, there are like less than 10-15 useful cards outside a themed game
Jabba's Palace should be last. New Hope should be WAY higher. Death Star II should be way higher as well.
I’ll have to overall disagree with your placement, but since it’s an opinion video, I can’t say you’re actually wrong.
for sure - what would you rank them as?
@@fatty777 I haven’t given it quite as much thought as you have, but my top three sets (that you included) would have to be Endor, Death Star II, and special edition. My least favorite would be A New Hope, Premiere, and Cloud City.
.
haha, today I learned that Star Wars had a CCG.... and to answer the title... all of them should be in shit tier, since nobody knows this shit even exists lol
