Great video! My personal favorite foil I have ever pulled was from Reflections 1, that beautiful Darth Vader Dark Lord of the Sith SRF. Something about that coloring of the image plus the foiling is second to none.

That’s an epic pull! I also love that card. There’s so many iconic cards they foiled in reflections 1. Also some very random ones.

Something not mentioned about the Endor foils is that they replaced the Rare in the pack. So out of 30 packs, you didn't actually get 30 Rares, you got something like 24-26 Rares and 4-6 Foils. If you go a common Foil, it was very frustrating because you didn't get a Rare and the common Foils were basically worthless for the longest time and you'd rather have a Rare card in its place. This made not only completing the foil sets harder but also the basic set harder because of the higher distribution of lower-end Foils in the packs.

Good point! I had forgotten this as it has been so long since I opened an endor pack.

hey, you had the pleasure of opening a pack of R3, that alone is worth it. :) great video! I always preferred the shiny endor cards. theres just something about that foiling that i really like. DoS is prolly my favorite foil out of them all

How do SWCCG collectors view ships and vehicles these days? I was always much more interested in those than the characters. But it seems like most of these conversations about the big cards focus on the characters.

Good question! Characters carry the most value as they see the most use in play and have the most appeal to collectors, however, the big capitol ships, like Home One or Executor, still are sought after. I’d say generally, ships are valued less than characters.

@@boardmatt Thanks! My knowledge on gameplay is just what I recall from fumbling through trying to play when I was 12 years old haha

@@boardmatt Are ships less valued because of the emotions around them or their play value? Can you have a competitive deck based around fleets and fighters?

@@AurenAvra good question! I think it’s partially value in play and also a general “cool factor”. The ships are a bit more obscure then the main characters. There’s definitely lots of very good and viable space/ship based decks out there though!
