Thankyou. Sir kindly make a video of treating planted discus tanks with potassium permanganate, and tell us the proper dosage of PP which will not damage the boilogical filters🙏
So according to the video footage..for 100 gallon = 1 gram of Potassium permanganate. For 150 gallon = 1.5 grams. For 50 gallons = 0.5 grams. And if we canister filter and not sump, then directly in the tank?. And how much hydrogen peroxide per 100 gallons of water. Your footage is always reliable and compact with knowledge based information. Thank you sir.
For home hobbyists, you can just use hydrogen peroxide. It is an oxidizer like PP but a bit safer and doesn't stain. I dose 5ml/10 gallons. You can kill fish if you dose too much.
@@rmmc5554 That's not the issue. One gram per 100 gallons equals .75 grams for 75 gallons. The issue is Permanganate kills everything including your nitrifying bacteria. Commercial guys can use the stuff because they do MASSIVE water changes CONSTANTLY.
