  • Here is another decorative makeover for my LEGO Grandfather Clock
    The following decorative elements have been improved:
    3 Finials at the top
    The Split Pediment at the top
    Columns on the sides of the hood
    Moon Dial elements
    Columns on the sides of the tower
    Faux Gridiron added to pendulum
    Pendulum Bob
    Chain Tensioner
    The chime mechanism has been improved
    Features:
    Lunar Phase dial;
    Chimes number of hours on the hour and a single chijme on the half hour;
    Dual H-Loop chain path with autowinders.

      The recording volume is a bit low, It strikes 11 at the beginning of the video.
      The bell can be seen between the weights in front of the pendulum.

      @@darrellaldrich8334 Oh, ok, I hear it now. Recording volume seems to be a common problem for chimes, they always turn out much quieter than when hearing them in person. When recording chimes, I tend to work on the audio a bit:
      1. Reduce noise (so it won't be a problem after amplification)
      2. Amplify the sound (+20-30 dB)
      3. Apply low pass filter (about 3kHz cutoff; helps with noise and softens the initial strike; for some reason, the first strike tends to record much louder and sharper than it is)
