- Made in the USA, the Geogrit wallet is a rugged, well-built, metal, minimalist wallet. With a vertical card entry like the Aviator wallet, it can provide the edc gear quality we're all looking for in an everyday, slim carry. #shorts #youtubeshorts #walletopia #walletreview

Cost is ridiculous!
One positive on the Geogrit wallet ... if you need to use your badge to access your work building, turn your badge upside down so the chip is visible from the thumb slot, and you may not need to take the badge out of the wallet for scanning. The thumb slot acts like a window where RFID can be used. Be sure to keep the chip on your cards inside the metal casing, however. You can't do this using a Ridge.
You can simply use the cash strap to hold your building card.
@@edwardcook5560 That works too, though the money clip will not work well as the badge will not align with the wallet properly. I prefer to keep my badge hidden in the wallet, so that is why I brought this up as well. Also looks cleaner for me.
Ridge pricing is the Ridge Killer. 😂
I still bought one. 😂
@@gOOnz901you are their target audience 😂
@@deeayeveeeyees still bought one and bought a pen also lol 😆 I’m well aware there are other ones that are just as good and cost less dude .
Almost 100. Pass
If it had an air tag holder I’d be sold. I like the “top load” design way more.
I don’t believe the RFID blocking part. If you’re chip is directly at the push thing you can still detect the RFID
I think I'll just pick up the chinese knockoff because 95 bucks is steep for a card holder. I bought a $20 ridge knockoff and its still going strong after a year. 😂
Me too. Great thing is, if goes in the wash no harm done.
Recommmend this over the Ridge/Magsafe? I like the idea of attaching it to my phone in front pocket, for a bit of added security
Yes, because having magnets near a credit or debit card is a good idea. 🤡
I rather pull cards from the side rather than from the top
but pushing them forward with the thumb seems like a more natural ergonomic position.
I just got mine the other day. I really like it. The top load is so much easier to remove my cards than the side load knock-off versions. Thanks for sharing this short.
Thrilled to hear you like yours Robert!
it better be bulletproof for that price.
Love to see you doing shorts keep them coming
no idea how anyone would prefer these types of wallets. might as well just rubber band a bunch of cards and be done with it
Really? The same can be said for any wallet.

Ridge Killer? No. Plenty of Ridge type wallets out there.
This is just another version like the Aviator wallet. Same principle as Ridge (compact, adjustable and customisable) but vertical instead of horizontal.
Aviator not made in USA
@@BothellRocks doesn’t bother someone like me who isn’t from, or live in, the USA.
@@edwardcook5560 Understood. I just mention it as it is important to some.
Not for$95. That cost about 3$ to make
Everything is the ridge killer and yet nothing kills the ridge. Funny how that works
Ridge made in China for $125 bucks so I went with Dango M1 Spec Ops made in the USA for $149
@@jodymoyer5569I got a forged aurora ridge with the coin and key holder. I’m gunna check the one you got out also. Nothing wrong with having more than one is it ? LoL
Price tag shows the … made in America greed
Ridge wallets are made in China and sell for about the same price.
Did you just say Ridge was the knockoff? 😂 I mean.... by definition Ridge was here first.
If I did, it was a mistake, by all accounts Ridge was first to this design.
Here first how? In comparison to the "knockoffs?"
RAHHH
Ridge is a cheap chinese product
I’d buy one of these or even a ridge if they weren’t so insanely overpriced. Guess I’ll just make my own.
