Fixed: Weber Spirit II E-310 Igniter Not Working

One day the igniter button on our Weber Spirit II E-310 grill stopped working. There is actually a battery that makes the igniter work, so that's a good place to start troubleshooting if you run into this. I replaced the battery and the igniter works again. Simple enough.

OMG, I can't believe how simple this was. My igniter hasn't worked in ages and it was just the darned battery...why didn't I check RUclips earlier? Thanks for the video.

Thank you so much for your video. My husband and I bought a grill on clearance and it didn’t have a manual. Everything else with the grill was fine except for the igniter. I thought we were going to have to replace it, so I began looking for videos on how to do that. I watched your video which was a godsend because I had no idea that they needed a battery to work. I found the place for the battery and it didn’t have one. I put in a battery and presto it worked. Again thank you for this video. You showed me that my problem was a simple fix. Thanks

I had exactly the same. Paid the extra to have John Lewis assemble it prior to delivery and the battery was back to front. Weird as there's a big minus sign on the cap.

Mine stopped working, put in new battery and still no spark.
I fixed by cleaning battery contacts. Good as new now.
