Congratulations, papa. Thank you for taking the time from K-Pop for a moment to react to my favorite ensemble BAND-MAID. Enjoy your new addition to the family, sir.

My son joined one of the two mosh pits that formed next to us for Warning! at the Sonic Temple Festival. He turned to me and said "here, hold my shit" and off he went. I didn't care, as I knew it was the last song and the maids had my full attention.

Kam Kam Kam, I'll make it really simple in my explanation. Every group, band, guitarist, bass player, drummer, or singer that you have ever loved and enjoyed in the 90's and 2000's is wrapped up into one beautiful all in one package which is Band-Maid. Their music envelops and surrounds you with so many different sounds that you might not of heard with other bands and that's why you need to listen multiple times to really take in what each band member is doing vocally or musically. I can listen to the song Warning 50 times for example, and never get tired of it because I can always pick up something different with each listen and that tends to be the norm for most all of their songs and yes multiple listens of a song tends to make me appreciate it more. The stress you feel before listening to a Band-Maid song for the first time may just be the energy drinks your subjecting yourself to. If you think the song Warning was fast, your going to be in shock when you hear Black Hole and I recommend that you drink Chamomile Tea and take some blood pressure meds when you listen to that one because your going to need it.

Nobody explained about the intro part of this song.
But they used to start their concert with music called Maid waltz which was similar to the intro part of this song.
Since this song is the first song of the Unseen World album, they decided to start with Maid waltz-ish music...probably😏

Yeah, every one of their tours gets a new opening intro track. I've seen it suggested they should release an EP of these songs.

It's not uncommon at all for Band-Maid Songs to grow on you after the first listen. When UW was first released, there was a section of the fandom that was pretty vocal about not really knowing what to make of the album and openly hoping for a return to Just Bring It vibes. Then slowly but surely overtime watching reaction after reaction you noticed a shift in forums about the feeling of the album. And once everyone was finally able to wade into and sift through the sonic chaos that is Unseenworld and find the Band-Maid underneath, there was a noticeable rise in appreciation for it and also a noticeable swell in new fans.
I myself went through that with Influencer. When Influencer was first released it was the first Band-Maid song I'd ever heard that I did not like, for like weeks. But at some point I'd heard a phrase that I liked and then another, then another until I finally unintentionally fell in love with it and its now in top half of favorite BM songs.
So to make a short story long, the answer is yes, this sort of phenomena is not uncommon among Maidiacs when it comes to Band-Maid songs.

If I had to pick a single greatest song of theirs so far, this would be it. Always enjoy your long-form Band-Maid reactions.

Unseen World took a minute, but in the end it's Band-Maid with all their awesomeness.

I’m lucky in that I came in at unseen world. I listened to Sense first (which is similar to this) and liked it. I wasn’t instantly in love but I wanted to keep hearing it and found myself skipping to it in my playlist. Then I went through all of unseen world before jumping into older stuff. Which is also great.

I feel for you. Their output since 2019 has gotten faster and harder. Many of the faster songs takes multiple exposure. As an example, it took my 5th listen to Black Hole to start making sense of it.

If you want to avoid faster beats, then you'll want to focus on their Conquerer album and earlier.

Since Band-Maid has a large number of excellent songs that aren't necessarily the most popular ones, I suggest checking out a lot of songs quickly, then going back and re-listening to the ones you found most interesting. Otherwise it could take months or years before you find all your favorites. The 10th Anniversary Best albums are a good selection.
A lot of songs written in 2020 or later address the pandemic and quarantine, and can be interpreted in that light.

I really like your reactions. Others have said many things already, so I'm just gonna throw in names here. You should definitely check out manners/black hole (2 songs) live, and also corallium (live). Those are very, very, very good.

Sound quality is always an issue with these types of MV. I’ve seen Band-Maid live in Atlanta 2023 and I can assure you that the sound quality during a show is LOUD & exquisite!

Subscribed. Great performance and reaction! If you would like to explore more and expand your channel, may I suggest a reaction to BABYMETAL. Their music has a positive and uplifting message. They have a fun and awesome performance:
