I never and will never like Kpop but Jennie (and BlackPink) is the only exception. I just cannot make myself get interested with kpop but this girl has me obsessed. I know she will never turn her back on the thing BUT I wish her out of it--free from kpop.

i saw her live at jimmy kimmel, she did AMAZING. the choreo is so intense and there was practically no backtrack. they used her second take she did even better the first time. also, yes the song is not made for your demographic HAHAHA. also you are correct jennie is truly happier and it shows, yg was so restrictive and all the members are truly free in this new era. they all play a big role in their creative process now, they have writing credits and have heavy input on everything. so excited for her new album coming soon!

I am kinda like you, they just grow on me. Initially heard of them but wasn't that intrigued, since after 2ne1 disbanded i just sort of drifted out of kpop. Heard chiquita covering of bedroom, have a listen and that's it. Then when news of 2ne1 coming back and a reunion, i was just browsing to their old tracks. And babymonster tmea performance was recommended to me. Gave it a watch to see how yg have progressed over the years. Honestly i was impressed by it, more so because i was reminded of 2ne1. And they slowly grow on me, and i am now a fan. Maybe the style of yg just suit my taste in music. The only othsr "5th gen" that caught my attention have been kiss of life and qwer.

This kind of reaction video to me is nice for a change. Everyone have their own taste and views in music, so it is nice to hear it from another pov which is perfecrly fine. I generally like how you listen to a variation, instead of just the mv. This is really literally diving deep into a song to degres. Which help to discover different aspect of a song, that might have missed out in the mv. And i like how in your prev babymonster video you did your best to googled and try to remember and put the name to their face. That's how i did when i first discovered babymonster and kiss of life too. Gradually after a few video it will just get to you, and you will just recognize them. Honestly sheesh wasn't my fav too, although i like the rap parts in my first listening. But it will just grow on you after a few listen, which is so crazy. My fav is definitely forever, like that and stuck in the middle. Just love how yg trying to explore new variety, as the girls have great vocals.

Faster doesn't automatically mean better, but it definitely means harder. Exponentially so. How you have been a kpop fan for 30 years? That's me and rap. Asa's rap in Forever is by far the most impressive of raps BM has put to track yet. Probably of anyone in YG for that matter. Speaking from a strictly technical viewpoint of course-- everyone has their own taste after all. I just wish it were longer... as with all their rap verses lol. But at the same time I'd also agree that Batter Up is probably my favorite rap verse from RukAsa as well.

You need to check out their first individual live performance. I'm so impressed with theiir voice and singing at such a young age.

What's stale is these reactors thinking all YG songs are "typical" YG yet a high percentage of their songs don't follow this "formula". Every song type has a formula. 2NE1 and Bigbang's biggest songs are almost exclusively slower or more emotional songs. And only about 1 out of 6 Blackpink songs are like this...just pre releases or title tracks that want to generate excitement. Also stale...other companies pumping out endless streams of forgetful, boring, stereotypical Kpop or chasing trends and not creating a whole lot. 10 sec in and already removing him from my algorithm...congrats.

For me yg and their artists are the only ones interesting me in kpop specially these days when idols are overusing autotune and can't even sing their songs real live.. i don't want yg to leave their signature music style cause that would only make kpop boring..they are the only company with such exciting music and artists that can give worthy real live performances..the party sides of yg music makes it so much fun in live concert..
