Is there a way to control the range of the moving head to limit it range of "Pan and Tilt" so I can focus the moving head lights on the dance floor only? Please advise.
I purchased my soundswitch some time ago and notice now it appears to be a SaaS product with a monthly fee. The version I have did include attribute queues somewhere as I originally set up some custom gobo attributes, but now I do not see an attributes section on the left menu. Am I missing something or do I have to set up a monthly plan to see these features. I also do not see a dmx button on the top menu if that helps. Can anyone point me in the right direction?
Hello, I have a soundswitch controller, I would like to install fixtures for the heads of a Chinese manufacturer. there are no such fixtures in the fixture list of the program. I know that there is an instructional video for introducing a new fixture. I need help in this subject. how to write a new fixture or instructional video. I will be grateful for your help.
Can you guys make a video about using lasers with sound switch? There might already be a video, but I’m just asking that would be great. My take away from this video though is that once you set your laser up, you can just draw different patterns for different attributes on your laser copy and paste to create an entire show. Could be wrong them, and have absolutely no clue what I’m talking about.
Please can someone explain to me how I can correct positions or delete attributes and CUEs in Autoloops programming. Movement positions can be cleared, although I cannot jump over another position to correct positions. Thank you!!!
I’m noticing the biggest problem everyone is having is getting their fixtures to work with Sound switch. Seems like once you get that sorted out everything else seems to be just automation. Similar in Ableton when you’re automating parameters drawing it in. Etc..
I cannot get my moving heads to point to the dancefloor. They keep doing 360's, no matter where I put the fixtures in the position grid. I've been working on this for over a month and none of what you show here makes sense. It's literally the most frustrating thing.
Did you figure this out ? I'm having the same problem. I create movements on the grid. Tell autoscript to use them all randomly, and when i perform they just point up and spin in a tight circular pattern.
@anonymous_friend I did, but I had to use the pan/tilt settings, and the degrees of tilt on the lights themselves, and invert the left fixture. I never got any of it working correctly with soundswitch.
I miss the feature to entirely disable moving and attribute cues. I only use RGB par and pixel fixtures, so no need to show and calculate them at all! Thanks in advance 👍
Gig bar this and that, now I know why they named it sound switch, I’m new at this fresh out the box don’t have a gig bar but I do have a nice light show … I’ve watched about 10,000 videos can barely get movers to move or do anything like this video says, won’t stay a changed color my nerves have gotten bad, paying a monthly subscription fee for what Frustration ? So yes Sound switch is the perfect name cause it SOUNDS like I’m SWITCHING back to easy old chauvet ShowXpress
I'm in the same boat, I wanted a consistent light show with either 2 or 4 moving heads and soundswitch has just been massively frustrating. Nothing works intuitively, and I have concluded it is only good for par cans or this gig bar. Better going back to an old dmx board
This thing is just fantastic! Hardware+Software, unbelievable! I can´t wait to get mine!

Same question here, my moving heads spend most of their time in the back
You’ll need to create two or three positions on the floor for the moving heads and have them patrol just that area during the desired time.
Watch the section starting around 5:00. ;-)
