Very informative and useful video. Some of these older homes in Houston are already water pressure and flow challenged. That was a sneaky place to put a flow restrictor. Good job .
These restrictors are terrible I always take them out of every fixture in my home. The passages are so small any granules in the water will make them even worse. Thank you for sharing John
Hey john. Thanks for this video.. ive damn near tried everything... Now im watching this video and youre more informative than the actual company. Ill implement your change and see if it fixes my issue. Im experiencing low water pressure since day 1.. EDIT: You're a mad man!! This worked for me!!! I got all the water pressure in the world now
I’ve had trouble before with these single handle pull out spray style faucets where the customer would complain of low water pressure and it would be in the spray head itself. Some brands make it where you can’t take the head apart to try and unclog it. I’ve had good luck with telling them to unscrew the spray head and place it in a bag of white vinegar and let it sit over night. Had good results with it helping break down that shit and get em to flowing again
By any chance do you have a walkthrough on how to remove that flow restrictor? I dont want to ruin the spray head and end up spending $60 on a new one.
Thanks for the video! How did you get the aerator out? I tried with needle nose pliers with some pretty good force then stopped as I thought I would break the piece. I also tried using the aerator wrenches (Lowes) but they didn't seem to fit either. Thanks for any advice!

Going home to try this tonight. My problem is that the water pressure isn't high enough to trigger the tankless water heater.
Good luck 👍
Hey John, how did you get the restrictor out. Did you push through the faucet head through the white center of the head?
I pushed it out witha flexible wire or solder
