Galaga (1984 Famicom port)
Little Computer People (1985) (this footage comes from DerSchmu, Nostalgia Nerd, and はるを (Haruo), not me)
Game de Hakken! Tamagotchi 2 (1997)
Chuugoku Senseijutsu (1988)
Taboo (1989)
Skullgirls (2012)

As someone points out in a comment below, "Kyashii" is the katakana spelling of the name "Kathy" or "Cathy." So that explains her kind of odd name
6:30 I say I chose "yes" as I choose "no" in the footage. Amazing
This video is tremendously helpful for people - like me - who just started playing/experiencing this game as it clears up a lot about the more obtuse features and explains what's in the manual, too.
If you put in a nonexistent birthday when trying to get a horoscope fortune, the girl and cat will scowl at you.
Then I chalk this up to my bad Japanese language skills
early sims
I hope an English translation gets released for this game. I would love to play it.
Is Kyashi supposed to be "Kathy"?
What a strange game. But i suppose i cant fault Kyashii for screaming randomly for hours. I can sympathise with existential dread hitting you out of nowhere.
Indie devs could make some kind of remake, Apple House Monogatari, about a little girl trying to handle daily responcibilities along with some declining mental health. Might hit a little too close to the home (hehe) though
Oh my god, you're right about her name. That is the Japanese spelling of "Kathy"
So, the reboot would be 'Puppycat - the game' basically?
