BMW Z4 How to test roof / top motor, after removal of soft top.

This is ONLY a how to test the operation of the motor.
This is NOT a "hey my top is broken plz hlp thx" comment board.

Uhm This WILL bend your top frame. Highly recommend you don't activate your Z4 top out of the car unless it's in the factory repair mounting.

Im having problems with my e30 soft top motor buzzes but nothing happens what can it be

if i want to knw if motor is good, can i just connect the bottom wires of the motor and click the down button inside the car? or what could be another way to find out? i have the top on and i removed the motor to restore it, cleaned all the rust, nothing is worn out...just need to test it..thank you ..
