Now I'm on my feet all day at work and the stiffness in my lower back is horrible. I am excited to try your decompression exercises...help with my sciatic pain I get periodically. Thank You for your back pain videos.

Should these be done daily or one day on, one day off? I'm not trying to be obtuse, fitness hasn't been a regular thing for me. Seeking answers on the internet, well the answers vary. TIA!
These are great will definitely use a few of these several times a week.. like the lying on back with arms under small of back leg raises.. does stomach AND back at same time! I also have a history of IT band tightness.. inflammation at knee took me out of commission for 4mth one year! Question: Do you have any stretches hamstring, glutes and IT band that will not hurt my back? Maybe a good subject for a video! I used to do the cross feet & touch toes for IT band, but that can't be good for someone with bulged or herniated disk..correct?
Doctor. Is sciatica pain related to lower back pain or not? I have to paraphrase the person below when he says your exercises are the only ones that work for me. Thanks doctor. You're great 😊
Sciatica is a symptom. The main cause of this symptom is an injury to a spinal disc of the lower back (i.e. a bulging or herniated lumbar disc). Lower back pain may also be experienced with this type of injury, so they definitely can be related. Hope this helps.
I herniated L3 and L5 discs plus sprained the ligaments in my back a few years back and always end up getting a flare up when I’ve tried other core strengthening exercises. I’ll give these a try and hopefully it helps, thanks.

Thank you so much for your videos. I have a herniated disc, I did it over the Christmas period, so couldn’t get to a doctor. I used one of your videos, leaning half way over a bed and it was the biggest relief. Since then, I’ve had a spinal injection as hamstring nerves were still a massive pain. When I lean on my back now, I get immediate pins and needles and I’m also suffering from sciatica almost daily down through the left buttock down the thigh and through the calf. I’m doing exercises regularly and I’ve cut out any foods that can cause inflammation. I’m also making sure I get plenty of B1 and Manganese. How else could I help the nerves, so I can lay on my back. Even baths are proving difficult because of the pressure. I’m young (ish 😁) and I’m a mam to young children and I’m active. I can’t stand being immobile and in pain. Again thank you so much for your videos. They have helped me so so much.
Hi, I’ve been diagnosed with a bulging disk rear/left side and have been using your core and stretch videos, which are great. Excellent video. Is this video showing us a workout to be completed in full say three times a week? I'm confused as to how often we should do all the excercises... could you clarify that part please? Thanks!

Thanks for this. The exercises at 5 minutes in cause my hip flexors to be on fire, even before I try the heel tap. I know my TA is very weak. Are there any adjustments to try to target these same muscles as a prep to doing the heel tap style of core exercises? Maybe I need to just keep working on the first exercise?

These are really good, i didn't realise how weak my core is. My biggest goal is getting back to road cycling, been off it 5 years now :( it always seems to inflame my disc issues. Do you have any strong opinions on biking with prolapsed lumbar discs? (i.e. should i forget it? Lol) Cheers
When I do the reverse Bridge I feel mostly my Quads and Hamstrings working , I don't really feel any core or lower back engaging. Any suggestions. Thank you
I had a sudden back pain laterally around my waist, it took around 5 days to be gone via Yoga, then it made me interested in Yoga, so I tried something else on RUclips. I did the butterfly pose and wrongly moved left and right, suddenly I felt in pain in the middle of my buttock that I immediately torn, it's like stabbing pain. Since that day I had a hard time walking because when I stand or walk I will feel the gravity pulling my lower back down plus pain gone down almost to my right knee. I then searched the videos on RUclips and found one with hips flexors stretch where I lay on a high table and let one of my leg around 45 degrees(maybe) hanging down in the air. It was very very painful, but when I finished doing it, the pain through the knee and the pain while walking is completely gone, I can walk normally without pain now, BUT I continue having pain around both "Dimples of venus" when I bend forward especially at the right side. I went to Orthopedist, he did some test where he knacked my body, my bones were so loud, it was tense, but not painful when he let go. He then told me it's a muscle, I forgot which muscle it was. He prescreibed me a Physiotherapy for 6 sessions, it doesn't help at all. Last week, I had pain again in the middle lower back after I sneezed. I did the same table stretched in the next day and it's gotten better, but come back to the same loop where I have pain at the dimples of venus. It's been since 5 months now and I stopped doing any kind of sports bc of it. I really want to be back to normal like before again. I made an appointment with a back specialist, but I have to wait for another month since it is totally full. Sorry it was very long, I just want to share my back pain story. I will try your excercise, maybe this all happened because the weak muscles and also because I did shit to my back, now I do really scared of Yoga or any new excercises. Thank you ^_^
I am a writer aged 72 . I like your exercises for back pain core strengthening . However can I do these core strengthening exercises as I am confused because Xray says I have mild grade L4/5 spondylolisthesis and slight retrolisthesis at L2/L3. Your reply will be greatly appreciated.
My xray also shows L3 vertebral compression fracture; Lumbur Spine with osteophyle formation at L1/2 and L2/3 levels; L5/S1 disc space is mildly narrowed. Bilateral joints are preserved.

Yo my brotha I truly appreciate you

Heyy I wanna know that if one or two exercise require way too much effort should I still have to do those exercises or skip
Thank you ^_^
Hope the exercises help, please give us an update soon.
just what I needed

I am a writer aged 72 . I like your exercises for back pain core strengthening . However can I do these core strengthening exercises as I am confused because Xray says I have mild grade L4/5 spondylolisthesis and slight retrolisthesis at L2/L3. Your reply will be greatly appreciated.
My xray also shows L3 vertebral compression fracture; Lumbur Spine with osteophyle formation at L1/2 and L2/3 levels; L5/S1 disc space is mildly narrowed. Bilateral joints are preserved.
great ideas-thx!!
