From 6:59 , how were you able to feed the sound heard in the headset into the recording for this video whilst you were wearing the headset? Surely the headset does not transmit its sound?

Is it possible with this headset to connect to Bluetooth and listen to music at the same time with the 3.5mm jack? Also, is it possible to connect to two (2) Bluetooth devices at once with this headset... i.e. cell phone and mp3 player simultaneously or even better yet, cell phone and Smart TV simultaneously (to watch TV with someone who I am talking with on the phone and not disturb others in my local environment)
Thanks for the Video. I am using it from PAST 3years, working AWESOME. but suddenly 8200series on turning on, saying BLUETOOTH OFF. and no further connectivity and lights can be seen. I TRIED ALL MEANS POSSIBLE BY RESETTING and ur other videos possible etc. Please resolve it, if u know HOW TO AVOID THIS IRRITATING BLUETOOTH OFF ERROR and getting it back to normal. I don't recall but at this point I wouldn't suggest purchasing this unit as it is outdated. These all have good sidetone. Hi great video! I have recently purchased a Plantronics Voyager 8200 UC with USB-C dongle and I own also a 4220 with USB-A. If I forget the right dongle at home/work can I use it with the other dongle?
Hi Denis, yes the dongles are cross compatible. You would put the headset into pairing mode, then the USB dongle (USB-A or USB-C) from there the two would pair together.

Hi Andy, It's hard to say how well it will work on your computer without the USB dongle. The USB dongle uses existing Windows drivers and no additional software is required to download. Hope that helps.

It's such a hard decision, Sony and Jabra have headsets which are slightly more and get better reviews. My mine focus is using them for 8 hours a day on the phone and for the customer to hear me clearly and background noise minimal.

This model is old now, I just got and so annoyed with it. The mic picks up regular for one second then its only at level 23 from that point on. I played with the buttons not sure what worked and it was working good for a little. When I charged it went right back to normal for 1 second then nothing. This is the 2nd poly set I've tried and they were both duds.

They look EXACTLY like the backbeat pro 2s. These are older? Idk the BBP2 are the best deal you can.....sometimes still find. I've gone through 3 or 4 pairs. They best bose QC25 in low and mid range, barely last the highs...

so I use this plugged to my nintendo switch via 3.5, I can hear the game but my friends can't hear me, i pressed the mute/unmute button and it doesn't work now I'm confused as to why it doesn't work
I personally don't recommend this new version of Plantronics Voyager 8200 UC. They have sidetone (you can hear yourself when speaking) - it has weird electro-sound and there is no option to turn it off. There is only low / medium / high settings. Even on low it is pretty loud and annoying. I have headaches because of it and it is really irritating me. Older version, maybe only because of older firmware have this sidetone off or not available, but there is no available downgrade of the firmware.

Hi Lokman, the test done here was of the microphone quality connected to a windows computer using windows recorder.
These are relatively old and still have a high price tag. Are you aware of a new version around the corner?

Some people reported delayed side tone. Have you head a chance to test the side tone?

So, was it the microphone on the headset or your webcam that you recorded the audio on?
Hi Tommy, the audio you hear is on the camera microphone up until about 8:00 when we do a mic test of the headphones. Check it out.

Yes this headset has good sound, is comfortable, and has 20 hours of talk time plus you can use the ANC feature to really focus on gaming.
Weird enough the sound on discort is not that good. But if i make a call on my phone its way better

I tihnk you usually need to talk through the Switch app on a phone - Nintendo does things were backwards compared to other gaming systems.
