What a wonderful explanation for someone who has taken statistics but does not use it on a daily basis. Such a great refresher on what to look for. Thank you!

Thank you for your tutorial. I have learnt a lot about using Regression Analysis and how powerful of a software JMP is through this video.

Good video and nice approach to explaining step regression with backward elimination.

We would like to see a:
one sample proportion confidence interval & hypothesis test
one sample mean confidence interval & hypothesis test
Two sample proportion confidence interval &a hypothesis test
Two independent sample means confidence interval and hypothesis test
Two dependent sample means confidence interval &a hypothesis test
    Confidence interval is at 95%

Hi EDPRocket, I won't be able to make videos on these topics over the weekend, but all of the different experiments in JMP you are asking for can be found on RUclips. Try searching for "JMP confidence intervals" or "JMP hypothesis test proportions," etc. If there is a specific question you have after watching I'll try to help. Good luck with your assignment.

Hi, thanks for this. It was super helpful. I was wondering if you could talk about interactions

Great video, answered many things I've been wondering of.
How will the anaylses be conducted if the dependent variable (Y) is not numeric, but a categorical variable (for instance yes/no)? And the Fit Model function in JMP has both numeric and categorical independent varaibles?
I used your the same method aa you showed in your video (backward stepwise regression), but the R squated is way off (0.06...). Would be greatly appreciated if you could also do a video on that as well.
    Thanks once again M.S.!

I’m confused on the difference between the BodyFatPercent column and the the ResidualBodyFatPercentage column. For example, for row 30, it says that body fat was 8.8 but in the residual column it was -3.8. Isn’t that a huge gap? And not considered a linear model?

Thank you for your explanation. I just want to ask, what is the Effect test below the Parameters Estimates tell us and can we use the Effect Summary to tell that which factors are impact to the model ?. Thank you so much

Hello Mr. Sale, you have a video uploaded from a few years back on some examples using hypothesis tests.... we have a group doing an assignment that is very similar to it but our teacher gave us no information on how to do them, can it be possible if you do an example of each type of test for us here on RUclips? We would appreciate that very much, the due date is Tuesday May 2nd

How do you approach crossing variables if you want to think about different slopes?
