Thank you for this lecture. A few questions. 1. How can I create validation columns without JMP pro? Manually? 2. Can I run neural or partition models without validation data?
Right now, you would have to make the validation column manually if using JMP instead of JMP Pro. With that said, however, the neural and partition platforms do allow you to choose a proportion of the data to allocate to training and validation when running. Option to choose that is in the dialog box.
R is not an option at this version. Main reason being is that R wouldn't really be a good language for implementing a model into a computing environment to produce predictions. Python would be though.

I have JMP Pro 16 and I can't generate R code in the Formula Depot. How will I generate R code instead of available programming languages in JMP?

where to find that dataset?
