I was just listening to a creepypasta and the song played and for some reason my breathing became fast and i felt lightheaded just rememberong the pure dread this story made me feel. I hadnt listened to the story on over 4 years until now.
OMG this is absolutely terrifying. I've never dreaded the sound of that drumbeat more than I did in this story. It doesn't help that I started watching this at EXACTLY 11:00 P.M with my windows open.
My god this story was horrifying. I haven't heard a story recently that has made me so afraid. It is good to know that people can indeed still write a good Creepypasta that will actually frighten me. My heart is literally still beating fast. Holy crap was that a scary story.
Oddly enough, there is actually a moral to stories like this (although I'm not sure if the author really intended for there to be one). This one is don't just dismiss your kids when they have something to say. Most likely, it won't be the case that your child can hear a satanic ritual in the forest and you can't, but there are real life examples where people should give their children a little more credit. I know a girl whose stomach pains were dismissed by adults for a long time - including some doctors - until she was finally diagnosed with a serious disorder. There are also loads of kids who try to report when someone's abusing them but everyone assumes they're just making things up. So yeah, to all the future and current parents out there, remember to give your kids a chance to speak. That is all. Continue your creepypasta-ing. lol
Some Anon I said the same thing too, the parents always brush it off to dreams like they never went through the same shit when they were younger, luckily I did and paid attention when my daughter told me about her first sighting and we dealt with it promptly
I agree. It’s also frustrating how in this story, even after the police find a dead body of a guy wearing a goat head, the parents still don’t believe him and forbid the protagonist to look this stuff up only until he’s old enough to do it. So, no wonder he cut ties with his parents years later.
When I have kids one day, I’ll be damn sure to listen to what they say and take it to heart. Appreciate your kids and appreciate your parents. Everyone, hope you all have blessed lives.
It's been 2 years that I've been listening to your creepypastas and I'm very impressed by each and single one that you're made. They're all scary and it's something that you can picture in your head and get the creeps. Good job, man.
this is the first time in a while where a story has paralyzed me with REAL fear!!!! I think it's because of how long it is and how detailed it is, but the scariest part was the music that you played during the chanting sequences. My heart raced every single time I knew it was coming!! Listened to this last night at 3 am and refused to take out my ear buds, fearing I too would hear the chanting outside my house!!! Good Job, MCP!!! Hope there are more stories like these!!!
Since this is the first comment and I'm really lucky to do this I just wanted to say MCP you are my inspiration for any dark literature and I have really bad insomnia and listen to your calm voice no matter how dark the story always helps me fall asleep. I just wanted to thank you for that. Without you and your narration's I would only get maybe 2 hours of sleep a night or two. So thank you so much!
It makes these stories too predictable, killing the dog or cat has just become a trope. That one about something moving in the storm clouds really impressed me because the dog was totally unharmed in it 😂
I haven't even watched this yet but I'm giving it a thumbs up based solely on the length lol. You're voice is soothing enough that I wouldn't really give a shit if you were narrating Meine Kampf.
Holy shit this might be the best creepy pasta I ever listened to. This reminded me of the stick figure in the intro to American Horror Story: Coven. Such a shame those creatures weren't introduced in the show.
Oh man mcp your narration are getting really good. I got used to creepy pastas for a bit and i started to not get scared like i used to by them, but these recent have given me that gut fear I enjoy so much. Quality mcp, quality.
I have to say, this has become my favorite Creepypasta; right up there with Jeff the Killer. Kudos to the writer and your narration was wonderful, as always! :) Using 'Chase Pulse' for the changing bits and the encounter with goat man was an excellent touch. Neat!
i remember first listening to this as creepsmcpasta was reading. but now i really enjoy listening to this story were some one else narrates and ur narration is really really great
That drum beat music that plays when they are chanting freaks me out to no end. I actually find it difficult to listen. Its a bit like in your mr mix story when at the end it keeps repeating "mix mix mix" or something like that. I actually had to pull my headphones out of my ears it scared me that much
This was an ok story, the ending kinda sucked, but besides that it was pretty good. Also I nearly crapped myself because the band practice was going on outside my house at a college, and I heard the drumbeat continue when the story ended... I think I need new pants.
Creepypasta comments? Comedy? Well I don't come on here to get attention pal. I come on here to analyse minds like urs. And even if I was trying to be funny, thats not funny. Gee u guys shuld rly stop projecting ur flaws onto other people. Especially in a youtube comment section
I love MCP's stories he narrates. But if he ever sees this, probably not, but could you do a video on tips you know for new and starting out narrators? If not, oh well xD Great story still.
Wow I'm so excited to hear another pasta with the Goatman. The last Goatman story was my favorite, really the only pasta that REALLY creeped me out. I'm very happy to see another. P.S. MCP you rock dude

I listened to your vids from the very beginning. I had a few sleepless nights, and in some cases, was afraid to walk out to piss. Nowadays, I can't get scared for jack. nothing scares me other than a flinch here and there from a jumpscare that makes people scream. I love the genera of horror, I've grown immune to fear. I now walk at 2 A.M. pitch black to pee. I jump in the face of danger in outlast whilst everyone screams and runs away. I have you to thank for my immunity to horror. So thank you, MCP.
Why is this one so much scarier than the others. The drums are unnerving me Thankfully I'm in a library with lots of lights and people, even if it is 1:30 am

I know for a fact that I'm gonna think about that freaking drumbeat tonight and, well, I guess it's appropriate to say "well sleep it's been real, see you later"
This was pretty good. I got a little mislead for a second because when I saw "Goatman" I remembered "Anansi's Goatman" story, one of my all-time favorites.
In MCP's last video, I saw a comment that said this creepypasta was good so I watched Creepmcpasta's version, and now Mrcreepypasta narrates it... Great
"Dad I'm getting stalked by a satanic cult that's threatening me"
"Shut up and leave me alone with my left hand"
"Dad strange men broke into my room and said they would kill one of my loved ones the day before Cash died"
"You were an accident"

"Dad I'm going to kill everybody."
"Oh thats ok son its just your imagination."

The hardest part to believe about this story is that the father got primary custody of the child.
Valchrist1313 hah ha yeah
Valchrist1313 that's the scary part lol
Well, not to me. I know someone, who lives with her father most of the time
Who Jesus from Mary JK lol
Yup. Poor kid won the lottery by not being stuck with a single mother and had this fuckery go down.
"Silence never comes alone." What a fantastic line!!
No one can hear you scream in space.
This very well may be the best one I've heard.
I agree, this one Is special
yea
am I the only one who likes to listen to these while napping?
MrCreepyPasta has such a relaxing voice :3
I love it
+Alice Ochoa I would like to but I try to nap you can hear these noisy fuckers chanting in the woods behind my apartment.
+Alice Ochoa it is nice till he puts one of the load ass bang noises xD
+Alice Ochoa He puts me right to sleep I swear every time I knock out listening to him.
+Alice Ochoa can't sleep without it.

my computer suddenly crashed at about 44:43 when everything was getting all intesne and i kind of panicked a little
That chanting noise is actually chilling...
The Creeps For some reason it's more terrifying than the actual story 😨
True
The Creeps that shits scary O _o

Ethan Sobol it's called chase pulse by Kevin Macleod

Big Boss You sir, are a legend.

Good job, man.

Oh, silly forsworn...

"OH SHUT UP!"
I loved the "chanting" in the background

As soon as I knew there was a dog, I knew it was dead
Sort of like how, when the protagonist is an adult and there's a kid, you know the kid is going to die.

That chanting 'music' is really creepy.
it's called chase pulse by Kevin macleod
+Isaac Putra Thank you!
Oh lawd
The chanting music is the reason I won't be sleeping tonight
Isaac Putra thank you so much
8 years on, this is still one of the GOATs of the creepypasta world
I haven't even watched this yet but I'm giving it a thumbs up based solely on the length lol. You're voice is soothing enough that I wouldn't really give a shit if you were narrating Meine Kampf.
10:23 when your sleeping peacefully and then all of a sudden all the lights go out and you hear a corrupted fog horn
Holy shit this might be the best creepy pasta I ever listened to. This reminded me of the stick figure in the intro to American Horror Story: Coven. Such a shame those creatures weren't introduced in the show.

Don't you just love when your lights go out while in the middle of a creepy ass creepypasta like this?
There were a lot of cases similar to this that I could have experience as a kid, but didn't. Thank God I have good intuition.
