    In this video: We are experimenting several ways to root DF cuttings in less than a week. Its still in the experimenting process but It has worked many times. Although it does vary on different plant varieties. This method will produce roots if you give it the opportunity. We have also caked on a paste of rooting hormones after soaking the cutting in the liquid. Make a paste from the rooting hormone and rub it generously on the base of the steam where it was soaking in the solution. This tend to help speed up the rooting.
    We also have taken Soil Samples to the lab for analysis: Taking your soil samples is the true way to get accurate analysis of your plants soil. By doing a soil sample you can optimize your plants health. How we say: Happy Wife, Happy Life. Happy Plant Healthy Life.

      Hope it works out. Let it scab a bit. Don't leave too much of a stem on your cutting. Let me know. Thanks.

    Good job Thank you for all this information. Nice experiences, but it is also important to know what you tried and did not work?

    • @TexasDragonFruit
      @TexasDragonFruit  4 месяца назад

      I have tried several times and it has worked, that is why I showed the Asunta 5 Ventures. I am still trying different things like crushing the stem at the base where it can allow the roots to protrude without having to brake though the wood. I think the important thing is that I am trying to improve the method of rooting the unconventional way. And share my finding with my viewers. I'm no expert but I like trying. Thank you.

    What are are the name in the tires
    From harbor freight? Is it hard to get the pots onto the dolly since it doesn’t seem to scoop the pot with the wheels.
    Love your videos.
    I’ve been at it 4+ years but the ice storm we had killed all my first group here North of Austin. So disappointing.
    Where are you located.

    • @TexasDragonFruit
      @TexasDragonFruit  4 месяца назад

      I lost them all as well. The wheels are HAUL-MASTER 10 in. Solid Rubber Tire with Steel Hub. You need to do some modifications to make them fit. Both front and back wheels. I did not see if Lawnmower wheel will fit. We are located in the Rio Grande Valley by McAllen, Tx.

      No the pots slide easy onto the pots, you just lift one side by pushing your trellis top over a bit and push the dolly under. Thank you for commenting and hope our videos help you.

    Do you think UAN 32 is to strong for dragon fruit

    • @TexasDragonFruit
      @TexasDragonFruit  4 месяца назад +1

      I have never used, UAN 32, I have used a stronger 46-0-0 Urea on my Dragon fruits. In my opinion you can use 32 (Diluted). You need to be carful not to burn your tips. This Is how I would start using it, (In Soil) Test it on one plant, measure a diluted amount and remember how much you used. You should see quick results, in a week or two, if its good you will see new shoots or the tips growing fast or the plant turning dark green. If its to concentrated you will see your young tips burn or turn into jelly. This will help with vertical growth, not in fruit or bud production. You can test the same by Foliar spray. Remember you can't flush foliar off the branches to leach out the excess, so dilute it. Foliar will work the same way with results in a week or two. Good luck, less is better when testing stuff and increase as you go. Hope this helps.

      @@TexasDragonFruitwhat is the recommended TDS for nutrients solution /irrigation water?

    • @TexasDragonFruit
      @TexasDragonFruit  4 месяца назад +1

      @@osamahabbob6549 I myself dont concern my self with TDS for my dragon fruit plants, our municipality has a decent program for safe drinking water and use it for my plants. If you need guidance and additional information, Contact one of your County Extension Agents. I posted some information under our video description to help our viewers with a POC in Texas and California. I hope this helps, good luck.

      They are young plants, and I am pushing them to develop the canopy. That is why I am doing the soil analysis. Super hot foliar and high Urea. Not bad for 8 and 9 months old plant. They have been producing fruits for the last two months.
