Modeling peace of cake is peace of cake
Yeah haha, I was thinking whether to put that in the description
That's really cool
Thank you!
thank you so much this video is so understandable , you made my knowlegde.
Happy it was helpful! 🥰
Either the cherry is way too small or that is a MASSIVE piece of cake
Ahah, well, you can definitely make the cherry as big or as small as you wish 😊
NICE!!!
Thank you!
Great video☺
Thank you so much, happy you like it ☺
Make more tutorial very helpful
Thank you 🥰 Will do soon (working on a very cute one right now)
Beautiful! I am currently learning Blender, and this tutorial gave me more motivation to continue. May I know which processor and GPU you have? My laptop has an Intel i7 processor, but I have the Intel Iris Xe Graphics, which is not very powerful. Will my machine be able to render realistic models like yours? If yes, which render engine should I select in blender? Thank you in advance. Love from India 😀❤
Thank you so much! Sorry for the late reply, missed your comment. I have i7-11800H and an RTX 3060, but this model at least doesn't have a lot of polygons, so I'm sure it will be okay (you can render in Eevee for sure, but you can try Cycles too, just set the number of samples quite low at first - the lower the number of samples, the less time it will take to render the image). Good luck with your future projects ❤
Hi! I love this tutorial I would like to ask how to place the UV SPHERE on top of the cake... Im being unable to do it. If anyone knows how to, help me please!
Hi! Thank you, happy you like it 😊You should be able to move the UV sphere by selecting it and then pressing G and dragging it with the mouse (and then left clicking on your mouse to complete the action). You can send me the screenshots/video of the issue on instagram (@sofyamakingart), will try to help

Question :') i'm trying to learn how to add colors and stuff to the cake, and I saw your other video with adding materials/textures, but i've seen other tutorials about UV unwrapping... Is there a reason this cake isn't able to be UV unwrapped?
Thank you for commenting, it's a good question :) You can UV unwrap the cake too, it won't be a problem, and the process of UV unwrapping is the same. Basically UV unwrapping is needed if the model is used in a game for example and you'll need to bake texture maps, or if you want to add a texture to it and need it to be displayed correctly (for example, if you want to add an image texture or hand paint it). In this case however, if the model is used for render/animation and you are not adding image textures, then you can add materials without UV unwrapping (and you can always UV unwrap the model later if needed). Hope it helps, let me know if you'd like me to create a UV unwrapping tutorial (I don't have as much time now, as I'm working full time, but will try to get back to creating tutorials soon)
Amazing 🔥❤️
Thank you so much! Really happy you like it (feel free to let me know if there are specific models/topics you'd be interested in for me to make tutorials for 😊)
