One thing to keep in mind, Six Flags St. Louis is one of the three original Six Flags Parks, with Georgia and Texas being the other two. Its layout with the terrain is unique and original, which adds to its overall atmosphere and appeal.
We’ve been to parks that interact with the terrain like that. It’s just what they have to do if they build in certain areas.
The Boss is a major ball buster on the double up. I’m shocked you didn’t mention/experience that.
We were there Friday and the park was SLAMMED. Tons of closed rides and rides breaking down unfortunately.
It is our home park so we’ll be back many times this season.
Sorry to hear you had sone bad experiences. They actually made numerous park improvements during the off-season this last year.
Even though it was inconvenient, the massive opening weekend crowds are good news for the park. I think the economy has moved a lot of people to try Six Flags parks this year.
I grew up going to Six Flags St Louis. I cannot believe the Screaming Eagle is still there! It is always looked like it needs to be torn down(even 20 years ago). My boy and I just came back from Knott's Berry farm and Disneyland. Can you believe we preferred Knott's Berry Farm over Disneyland? Seriously Knott's Berry farm is highly underrated. You got to go out there and check out the coasters. Great content, fun to watch, thanks for sharing.

Nice you finally got to Missouri. Excited to hear your thoughts on Silver Dollar City. We thought this park was lacking in operations, but the ride collection was pretty decent. We actually loved The Boss!

I always wanted to visit there, but I rode Batman the ride at Six Flags Over Texas back in 2005 for the first time ever, and it was amazing.
Every time I go to SFSTL there’s always some extreme weather. If you have 30 minutes to spare on your trip back through, stop by Lone Elk park which is 10 minutes or so away from the park.
We’ll remember that for next time

The Boss is amazing. Its in my top 10 out of 250. I rode this in the back when I had a tumor the size of a grapefruit and was fine. Keep RMC far, far away.

Went here in 1996 I was just 6 and I think the newest ride was ninja it was the only ride I was tall enough for and I hated it I would really like to go back to this park since it’s been 28 years

@@BeachcliffStudios hmm, if I were you, I’d say the best time to go to Six Flags Great America, is maybe on a weekday. Or if you are up for it, the weekend, since more things are happening. @@BeachcliffStudios April or early May, or September-October, just like any other park. If you can make it on a Thursday it won't be too busy. Not worth it on weekends without flash pass.

@@BeachcliffStudiosSOOO busy. That was like a Fright Fest crowd. Never seen an opening day like that in about 5 consecutive years of attending.
Growing up I considered SFGA, Kings Island, and Cedar Point home parks because I’d get to go multiple times a year. 2 hours to KI, 4 to CP, 4 to SFGA… I did hit SFSTL once. I remember it wasn’t as satisfying as SFGA at all. I also will tell you I haven’t walked into a Six Flags for a very long time 12 years, because the last time I was at Great America it was not in good shape. I’m hitting SFGA opening weekend I think. Six Flags ST Louis does appear to be one of the cleanest Six Flags Parks up there with Fiesta Texas just looking at RUclips videos. I guess the merger will take longer than before I will have to pay to get into a six flags and will have to pony up for the pass. So far I have Six Flags St Louis in July(with Silver Dollar and WOF), Over Georgia in June, Great America April. Really really want to get to Great Adventure have so many trips planned right now unsure when I can pull that one off. Will be in NJ in November for Iron Maiden Future Past tour, but maybe closed then lol
I think great adventure does a holiday in the park event but not sure what’s all open.
Heading to SFStL tomorrow and looking forward to it. Not so looking forward to CP this year, as the past 2 years have had dreadful operations. And with TT2 opening, the crowds will probably be insane. But yeah, I'll still be going.

I would recommend going in the weekdays of May or the first week of June. You could also go right in between when school goes back and when the Halloween events start
@@Illbeatcedarpointonjune4and5 May and early June are so packed for us already but we MIGHT be able to squeeze it in. Probably not though.
I'd wait for American Eagle to re-open. It's honestly top 5 there. (it's also my home park)

@@BeachcliffStudios mid June might be 👌 hopefully they open sky striker and American eagle to help spread out the crowds. If you have time you can also rope in Bay Beach & Mt Olympus for some solid woodies.. and Pegasus 😂
I remember the day The Boss opened. I was 9. It’s definitely a different experience as an adult now. I can’t not ride it. It’s too rough. 😂

I can’t wait in line. If I visit any park even Michigans adventure I get fast pass. I’m not waiting in any line if I drive 3 hours to get somewhere and my time is limited there. Id rather spend the money and get the pass and be able to guarantee ride everything

@@BeachcliffStudios I swear I’m not tryna sound too good or above ⬆️. I just can’t wait knowing I can literally be more than half of the way to the ride or literally a walk up to the ride. That’s why I invest in the season long fast lane it’s worth every dollar if you plan on visiting any cedar fair park more than 3+ times in my opinion. Not including if you had to pay for parking all of those times as well. I can keep going lol
@@BossKonja it’s not anyone feeling better than others at all. I hate when skip the line passes are viewed that way. We are not better than anyone I just prioritize differently than others so I’ll spend the money for me and Milo, usually. Obviously I didn’t at this park but you’ll see in our silver dollar city video that we did.

@@BeachcliffStudios only reason I say this is because you hear things while waiting in the fast lane lanes. I’ve heard people say oh yo guys can’t wait like normal people? Man just stfu. You are 1000% correct. We just prioritize our visits differently than others.
There's NO shot they could not install their new Zamperla Giant Frisbee before the park opened.
Boss is only enjoyable in the very front row. Every other row is extremely rough and unenjoyable

You're not the only ones that said Ninja is the worst coaster ever. People have been complaining about it for at least the last 10 years. People have told me that when they got off Ninja, they had the worst headache they have ever had. I work at Six Flags St. Louis, and I will never ride Ninja again.
Ninja is terrible hahah! It’s so jerky! It’s been like that for over a score.
