My husband laughs at me quite a bit when I'm like "oh we should pan here! We should pan hereeee" but, in the same breath my husband always says "okay" 😍 that's the type of support everyone deserves. I've yet to find gold in any of these places... But it made the family smile the entire time and that's more precious than gold any way

USA, I occasionally pan out some paydirt, but haven't gone actual river panning in 38 years. I was but a wee little guy back then, out at a creek near Sacramento.
Love watching your work regardless. Living in TN now, all clay, no gold out here save for one tiny creek in the corner of the state.

Dude that is awesome of you! I recently got one of your bags of paydirt off of Amazon for an anniversary gift from my wife! I have done a couple mine tours around Golden as I have family in blackhawk, CO. I had more than a gram of gold as was the guarantee on the bag and I panned it out with my 8 year old son. We both loved it and it has made it so much easier for him to know that his pan contains gold. He has probably panned it 30 times in the month we have had it as ill bake it and dry it out for him to keep practicing! Thx again for your videos and keep them coming!

Hi from MI, I’m here because you’re all my husband talks about, I had to come see who his man “Krush”was. Back in October my husband suffered a sudden heart attack after having a seizure. What started out as a simple meal at a dinner turned into a scary event for myself, our 9yr old and My husband. Here we are several months later and we still don’t have answers to the why/how. He was forced to semi retire at only 46 as he has very to little energy/stamina, perpetually cold, complaining because he was one day normal the next unable to walk to the kitchen without getting exhausted. That sort of thing does a lot to a man’s psyche. I told him to get a hobby as he was driving me bananas. I don’t know how or why he got interested in panning but I don’t care either. He has a spark in his eyes again, he talks about you and all he’s learning non stop. He’s fully geared and is in the process of building a yabbi pump (which is an Austrian tool used to extract crawdads from the sea floor, which by the way was interesting to learn about.) He is going to use this to quickly pull in gold from cricks and rivers here and in the Upper Peninsula. I know you’re all aware of all the fine tools, and tricks, and neat things that is used for these purposes. I was so green to these, I actually found my self listening as he yammered on about this. I don’t care if my entry wins, or my Husbands many comments win. I only wanted to tell you Shane Klesh, you are a godsend. You have motivate my husband and brought him out of a funk and given him something to be excited about. Our 9 year old and I are excited to go on mini adventures panning for gold. Keep up the good work!

That’s cool! I’m going to Wickenburg, Arizona next month to go to the LDMA Stanton camp for a detector event. I’ll have to remember to do something like this and see if another culvert pipe has any gold in it!!!

Hi Shane! I have never been gold prospecting which is why I watch your videos. Its something I have always wanted to do. I bought some gold pans just to play with around the house. I use bbs to put in the dirt to practice at finding them. Lol but its lots of fun and helps me learn to pan if I ever get the chance to go I'll be ready. I'm 58 yrs old. I live in Texas so not many places to pan here except up in Llano County.
Love your videos and keep up the good work.

Great video Mr.Klesh! I'm Todd from good ole New Hampshire. I enjoyed your series of finding treasure in all 50 states. And I particularly love the Amansic river sniping glacier till AU! Until I saw that, I never new that gold was in this state. I've never panned for AU.. and most likely ever will. Bad arthritis.. which just sucks all around. Anyways your a gold magnet!! Lol been a sub for a few years now and you keep the dream alive for me some day for prospecting. Keep up the great work. Todd

Great show, now every time I drive over a drainage ditch I will wonder how much gold is down there LOL. I have actually wanted to do this but just have not.

I've panned for gold a few times. But make it look easy. You never know if there was gold in that dirt until you panned it anyway. Great video

That looks like alot of fun.
    I often wondered about the
    corregated pipes under roads.
Might be more in a known
    gold bearing area.

Only panned once in my life...loved it dearly!!! Did it in Redriver NM last year and didn't find anything but still had a blast! Can't wait to win your Arizona paydirt so I can keep practicing. Always enjoy your videos, very helpful and knowledgeable!

I have never been panning for gold and would love to try it sometime. The only time I have planned for anything was a class trip to the mountains in NC 30 years ago. I did find a small nugget of topaz which was super cool. Keep up the great work. Really appreciate you grading paydirts so people don't get ripped off.

Hi Shane, I really enjoy watching your videos as you try all the different paydirt. I started panning about 40 years ago (47 to be exact, lol) in the North Saskatchewan river near Prince Albert, Sask.. The gold in the river here is fine flour gold and it took me a while to get the hang of swishing the water back and forth in the pan to reveal the fine gold.
A funny thing happened after I had been going out most evenings for a few weeks panning and hadn't found any gold. As I was panning one evening, an old, grizzled fellow came down the river bank riding an old dirt bike to where I was sitting. We had a good talk in which he told me he had did quite a bit of prospecting in northern Sask. when he was younger. He then asked me if I had heard about the Anglo- Rouyn gold mine and when I said yes, he said he helped discover it. This would have made him about 90 years old, but he looked like he might be that age. Anyway, after he left, the next pan I did, there was my flour gold, so I think he brought me luck. Keep up the good videos.

Good video man. Might have beat ya to some of that gold. I run around the hills there all the time, and do clean out culverts when I can. There are some great spots out there.

Seriously that is gold risk. Everyone wants a sure bet! Thanks for your videos. Like them. Keep making them, I'll keep watching them. Extend the time, and don't worry about the edit. We control all that. Your a nice guy, and make videos that I will, and do watch. But I think my amps are way louder than yours...

Going to Arizona when it thaws and hopefully have an easier time at prospectinng. Colorado is lovely but the elevation gets to me. Hopefully the western fire season isnt as bad. You need to gold detect in Nevada for some nuggets. Great show as always!

I'm new to panning. Got my first kit for Christmas 2020, then got Covid, then in January 2021, I was involved in an accidental shooting, and took a round to my knee. Have spent a year recovering and rehab, looking forward to getting out to searching in ernest this year. I know you mentioned PTSD previously, and gold hunting, getting out to nature, and getting that peace of mind has helped as well. Thanks for inspiring me.
So far, I am getting good at sidewalk and gutter good, and now I will be in the lookout for culverts as well.
